Changing the programme, if ...
... you have selected the wrong progra mme by mistake:
– Reselect the programme.
– Sele ct ÷Start. The new programme s tarts from the
beginning.

Amount of laundry, soiling, water har dness (ask your water supply
company) and manufacture r's instructions.
Pour liquid detergent into the appropriate dispenser and place in the drum.

Protecting the laundr y and the machine
– When dete rmining the dosage of all washing powders, additives and c leaning agents, you
must follow the manufacturer's instructions.
– Empty pockets.
– Look out for metal ite ms (paperclips, etc.).
– Wash delica tes in a laundry bag (tig hts, curtains, underwired br as).
– Fasten zips, do up any buttons.
– Brush sand o ut of pockets and collars.
– Remove curtain fi ttings or place in the laundry bag.
Laundry with varying degrees of soiling
Wash new items of c lothing separately.

Soaking Load laundry of the same colour
Pour soaking agent/deterge nt into compartment II in accordance w ith the manufacturer's
instructions. Turn the p rogramme selector to LCottons 30 °C a nd select ÷Start. After approx.
10 minutes, press ÷Start, to pause the programme. Once the required soaking time has
elapsed, press ÷Start, again to c ontinue the programme, or select a diffe rent programme.
Starching Laundry mu st not be treated with fabric softener
Starching is possible in all wash programmes if liquid starch is used. Pour starch into the
fabric softener compartmen t in accordance with the ma nufacturer's instructions ~(rinse first
if necessary).
Dyeing/bleaching
Dye should only be used in normal household quantities. Salt may damage stainless steel.
Always follow the dye ma nufacturer's instructions. Do not u se the washing machine for
bleaching clothes.

Removing the washing
Open the washing machine door and remove the washing.
If Rinse Hold (withou t final spin) is active: Turn the
programme selector to >Drain or select the spin speed.
Select Start.
– Remove any f oreign objects -
risk of rusting.
– Leave the washing machine door and detergent
drawer open so that any residu al water can
evaporate.
