4 Just before your dive
Turn on each camera by pressing its yellow power lever (9) inwards for three
seconds. To record time-lapse photos, press the lever again to switch to photo
mode. If using a Recording Extender, ensure adapter is plugged into the DC plug
(8) and switch on. Ensure the lid is correctly oriented for the Recording Extender
connections in the lid to meet the adapter in the housing. Check that the O-ring is
not pinched and then close the lid with the three latches.
5 Vacuum integrity check
Press the start/stop button (4) twice in quick succession to enter vacuum test
mode, which will be indicated by a flashing red LED inside the CAM1 dome.
Unscrew the cap from the vacuum port (2) and pump with the supplied vacuum
pump until the 360 emits two long beeps and the red LED flashes twice quickly
and turns off. Pump once more and put cap back on the vacuum port. Check the
red LED on CAM1 stays off for 5-10 mins to ensure vacuum is stable.
6 Start recording
Directly after you have verified the vacuum is stable, you can begin recording.
Video: hold down the start/stop button for 2 seconds until the 360 stops
beeping. Then, press the start/stop button once to start recording video. The
360 will beep twice after the ‘sync beep’ to indicate the 360 is still at the target
vacuum pressure. Press the start/stop button again to stop recording.
Time-lapse photos: Press the start/stop button once firmly to start recording.
Press the start/stop button again to stop recording.
7 Entering and leaving the water
Place the 360 inside the neoprene bag to protect the domes while entering and
leaving the water. Clear bubbles from domes before recording.
8 Post-dive tasks
Rinse the 360 and accessories thoroughly with fresh water. Wipe 360 dry with a
towel, and apply silicone grease to the mounting screws on accessories to prevent
rust. Unscrew vacuum port cap and release vacuum by pressing the red button.
Replace vacuum port cap. Open the 360 lid. Press the yellow levers to turn off
each camera.
