STEP 2 Printing Photo
1. Search for “LG Pocket Photo” from Play Store
(Android market) / App Store (iPhone).
2. Slide the cover button sideways to open the bottom
cover.
3. Insert the photo cartridge with the ribbon facing
forward as shown in the following image and close
the cover.
4. Press the cover to close it completely.

5. Press (power) button for 2 seconds to turn
on.
6. Search for the device to pair through Bluetooth.
ex ) LG PC389 (XX : XX)
7. When you nd the device, touch the model name of
Pocket Photo on the screen.
8. Select a photo to print, and touch [ ] (print) on
Pocket Photo App.
yIn case of Android, if you press [ ] (print) button
of Pocket Photo app even if Bluetooth pairing is
not done, pairing with Pocket Photo is tried.
9. If you want to print a photo you took again, press
[] (reprint) button on top of Pocket Photo.
,During printing, the photo paper repeatedly
comes out and in about 5 times through the
paper exit slot. Please wait and do not pull out
the photo by hand until it is nally released.

yUnpack the cartridge in dust free place and
immediately put it into the unit.
yDo not touch the color ribbon and the photo
paper when inserting the cartridge.
yDo not touch the inside of the Insertion part of
Photo cartridge (print head). There is a risk of
burns.
Note on Photo Cartridge
yDo not pull paper out by force during printing.
yDo not open the cover during printing or do not
print the photo, when cover is opened. It may cause
damage of Pocket Photo.
yIf there are foreign substance or dust on the inside
of the Insertion part of Photo cartridge (print head),
printed photo may has lines.
In that case, wipe the foreign substance of the
head with a cotton bud or a soft cloth. And then try
again. Refer to “Troubleshooting” to clean the part.
Note on the print
yThe higher resolution the image has, the higher
quality the printed photo has. (The proper
resolution is more than 2560 x 1920 pixel.)
Depending on the resolution of the original
image, the quality of the printed image may
differ.
STEP 3 Taking photos and instant printing
You can take photos with camera and print.

2. Hold the Pocket photo, conrm the desired
composition of the nal image by using view nder.
Optimal distance for taking photo is approximately
between 0.5 m and 1.5 m.
The subject may shake when taking pictures. Hold
your elbows at your body when taking photos.
3. Press the shutter button for 2 seconds then
photo is taken with a shutter sound and photo
is printed.
※ The ash may turn on at dark place when taking
photos.
4. If you want to print a photo you took again, press
[] (reprint) button on top of Pocket Photo.
(About 1 second or more)
yIf the lens cover is closed, you can’t take a photo.
yReprint function is not activate when the Pocket
photo is turned off or reset.
yWhen shooting with the camera the shooting
range of images viewed with the viewnder and
the images printed after shooting may differ.
yThe quality of the photos printed with the
camera and the photos printed with the Pocket
Photo app may be different.

STEP 4 Changing to black-and-white
shooting mode
You can print the photo in black and white when taking
photos with a camera.
1. Press (power) button for 2 seconds to turn on.

3. Press Shutter button for 5 seconds. The LED
will light up in white and switch to black-and-white
shooting mode.

4. Open the lens cover.
5. When you take a photo, black and white photos are
printed through Pocket Photo.
6 When you change to the color shooting mode, close
the lens cover by raising the lens cover switch, on
power on status and then press the shutter button
for 5 seconds.
LED turns off and changes to color mode.
When printing via the Pocket Photo app, the
camera prints in color even if it is set to black-and-
white shooting mode.

※Basic function of Pocket Photo app
1. You can use the editing functions of the Pocket Photo
app to decorate your pictures with text, brushes
(drawing tools), frames, and more.
You can also calibrate your photos through various
lter modes.
2. Press the [ Camera] button on the main screen of
the Pocket Photo App, you can easily shoot in the app
without running the camera of the smartphone.
3. You can check device condition, battery status, total
printed photos, MAC address and rmware version on
the [ Setting] /[Device information] screen.
If you want to change the text of a photo in the
editing function, the font is applied the same when
you change the font of your smartphone. (The
Pocket Photo app does not support font changes.)

1. Run LG Pocket Photo App on the smartphone.
2. Touch the setting menu [ ] /[Manual] to see
user manual for details.
※This product must always be operated DC 5 V.

Troubleshooting
Symptom Cause / Solution
The paper
jammed before
printing.
Turn the device off and on again then
paper is ejected automatically.
At rst remove the photo cartridge,
and then gently pull the remaining
photo paper out of the Insertion part
of Photo cartridge. At this time, be
careful not to touch the inside of the
Insertion part of Photo cartridge.

The printed
photo has lines.
If there are foreign substance or dust
on the inside of the Insertion part of
Photo cartridge (print head), printed
photo may has lines.
In that case, wipe the foreign
substance of the head with a cotton
bud or a soft cloth. And then try
again. Clean the part indicated in the
following picture.
Quality of
printed photo is
too low.
In case you edit an image using
[] menu in the App, the quality of
the printed photo may be reduced.
Turn off the Pocket photo and insert
the new photo cartridge.
Above solutions
do not work.
Press Reset hole with a pointed
thing like mechanical pencil to
initialize.

Store (Android Market) e instalarla y utilizarla en un
dispositivo Android.
Puede encontrar la aplicación "LG Pocket Photo" en App
Store (iPhone) e instalarla y utilizarla en un dispositivo
iOS.
Puede conectar y utilizar el teléfono inteligente y la
aplicación Pocket Photo mediante Bluetooth.

PASO 2 Impresión de fotografías
1. Busque «LG Pocket Photo» en Play Store (mercado
Android) / App Store (iPhone).
2. Deslice el botón de la cubierta hacia los lados para
abrir la cubierta inferior.
3. Inserte el cartucho fotográco con la cinta
hacia adelante como se muestra en la imagen a
continuación y cierre la cubierta.
4. Presione la cubierta para cerrarla por completo.

5. Pulse el botón (encendido) durante
2 segundos para encender el dispositivo.
6. Busque el dispositivo a vincular mediante Bluetooth.

7. Cuando detecte el dispositivo, toque el nombre del
modelo de Pocket Photo en la pantalla.
8. Seleccione la fotografía a imprimir y toque [ ]
(imprimir) en la aplicación Pocket Photo.
ySi utiliza un dispositivo Android, al presionar el
botón [ ] (imprimir) de la aplicación Pocket
Photo y no ha vinculado previamente el dispositivo
mediante Bluetooth, se intentará realizar la
vinculación con Pocket Photo.
9. Si desea imprimir una foto que ya ha imprimido,
pulse el botón [ ] (imprimir de nuevo) en la parte
superior de la aplicación Pocket Photo.
,Durante el proceso de impresión, el papel de
fotografía entra y sale aproximadamente
5 veces mediante la ranura de salida del papel.
Espere y no tire de la foto con la mano hasta que
se haya soltado del todo.

yDesembale el cartucho en un lugar libre de polvo
y colóquelo inmediatamente en la unidad.
yNo toque la cinta de color y el papel fotográco
al introducir el cartucho.
yNo toque el interior de la pieza de inserción del
cartucho fotográco (cabezal de impresión).
Existe el riesgo de sufrir quemaduras.
Nota sobre el cartucho de fotos
yNo tire del papel hacia fuera durante la impresión.
yNo abra la cubierta durante la impresión ni trate
de imprimir la fotografía con la cubierta abierta.
Puede dañar Pocket Photo.
ySi hay alguna sustancia extraña o polvo en el
interior de la pieza de inserción del cartucho
fotográco (cabezal de impresión), es posible
que no se expulse correctamente el papel.
En ese caso, limpie la sustancia extraña del
cabezal con un bastoncillo de algodón o un paño
suave. Intente nuevamente. Ver “Solución de
problemas” para limpiar la pieza.
Nota sobre la impresión
yCuanta más alta sea la resolución de la imagen,
mayor será la calidad de la foto impresa. (La
resolución adecuada es superior a 2560 x 1920
píxeles). Dependiendo de la resolución de la imagen
original variará la calidad de la imagen impresa.
PASO 3 Sacar fotos e imprimirlas al
instante.
Puede sacar fotos con la cámara e imprimirlas al
instante.

2. Con la aplicación Pocket Photo, conrme la
composición deseada de la imagen nal utilizando el
buscador de visualización.
La distancia óptima para sacar fotografías es de
aproximadamente entre 0,5 m y 1,5 m.
El dispositivo puede vibrar al sacar fotos. Mantenga
los codos en una posición rme al sacar fotos.
3. Presione el botón del obturador durante
2 segundos , a continuación se sacará la foto,
escuchará un sonido del obturador y se
imprimirá la foto.
※ Si saca la foto en un ambiente oscuro, es posible que
se active el ash.
4. Si desea imprimir una foto que ya ha imprimido,
pulse el botón [ ] (imprimir de nuevo) en la parte
superior de la aplicación Pocket Photo.
(Aproximadamente 1 segundo o más)
ySi la cubierta del objetivo está cerrada, no es
posible sacar fotos.
yLa función de reimpresión no se activa con la
aplicación apagada o si restaura la aplicación.
yAl disparar con la cámara, el alcance de disparo
de las imágenes visualizadas con el visor y las
imágenes impresas después del disparo pueden
diferir.
yLa calidad de las fotos impresas con la cámara
y las fotos impresas con la aplicación Pocket
Photo puede ser diferente.

PASO 4 Cambio al modo de fotos en
blanco y negro.
Puede imprimir la foto en blanco y negro al realizar fotos
con la cámara.
1. Presione el botón (encendido) durante 2 segundos
para encender el dispositivo.

Presione el botón del Obturador durante 5 segundos.
El LED se iluminará en blanco y negro y
cambiará al modo de fotografías en blanco y negro.

4. Abra la cubierta de la lente.
5. Cuando saque una foto, se imprimirá en blanco y
negro mediante la aplicación Pocket Photo.
6. Cuando cambie el modo de disparo a color, cierre
la cubierta de la lente elevando el interruptor de la
cubierta de la lente, con el dispositivo encendido, y
presione el botón obturador durante 5 segundos.
El LED se apaga y cambia al modo de color.
Al imprimir a través de la aplicación Pocket
Photo, la cámara imprime en color incluso si está
congurado en modo de fotografía en blanco y
negro.

※Funcionamiento básico de la aplicación
Pocket Photo
1. Puede usar las funciones de edición de la aplicación
Pocket Photo para decorar sus imágenes con texto,
pinceles (herramientas de dibujo), marcos y mucho
más.
También puede calibrar sus fotos utilizando los
diferentes ltros disponibles.
2. Presione el botón [ Cámara] en la pantalla principal
de la aplicación Pocket Photo, puede utilizar la
aplicación con facilidad sin utilizar la máquina de su
smartphone.
3. Puede vericar el estado del dispositivo, el estado
de la batería, el número total de fotos impresas, la
dirección MAC y la versión del rmware en la pantalla
[Conguración de la foto] /[Información del
Dispositivo].
Si desea cambiar el texto de una foto utilizando
la función de edición, la fuente se aplica de la
misma manera que cuando cambia la fuente de su
smartphone. (La aplicación Pocket Photo no admite
cambios de fuente).

1. Ejecute la aplicación fotográca LG Pocket Photo en
su smartphone.
2. Pulse el menú de conguración [ ] /[Manual]
