The rear mount monitor bracket is typically mounted as shown below.
Typically it will be about 1” in from either side and centered on the upper section as
shown. However, it can be attached anywhere along the top section that space allows.
Use a small level to ensure that the bracket is level.
1. Mark the holes.
2. Drill the marked holes using a 5/16 diameter drill bit.
3. Install the tee nuts from inside. Use of the bolts with a flat washer under the head to pull
the tee nuts tight into the holes. (Put a flat washer under the head of the bolt, insert the
bolt into drilled hole, screw tee nut onto the bolt, tighten the bolt, remove bolt, and repeat
to seat all four tee nuts.
4. Attach the bracket using the 4 bolts, 4 flat washers, and 4 lock washers.
5. Follow instructions received with your monitor mount to install the monitor to the bracket.
6. A metal hacksaw can be used to shorten the long threaded rod used to attach the monitor
mount if desired.
Use a metal hacksaw to remove
the excess threaded rod if
desired.
