WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used
for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in
a commercial environment.
Prior to cleaning or other maintenance, the appliance must be disconnected from the
supply mains.
The ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with
items, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and that no objects filled
with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
Ventilation
Allow at least a 10 cm gap all around the product.
This apparatus is not suitable for use in a tropical climate.
Batteries (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat
such as sunshine, fire or the like.
To protect the environment, use local recycling facilities for battery disposal.
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the
disconnect device shall remain readily operable.

Battery handling and usage
Only adults should handle battery. Do not allow a child to use this apparatus unless
the battery cover is securely attached to the apparatus.
The battery type used in the apparatus is 4 size C batteries which are accessible and
can be replaced.
Remove the battery cover located at the rear of the apparatus to remove the
batteries.

OPERATION
The radio can be powered using 230 V mains power or batteries (not supplied).
Connect the AC power cord to the mains socket or install the batteries as follows.
1. Remove the battery door located at the rear of the unit.
2. Insert four batteries observing the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery door.
Listening to the radio
1. Turn the VOLUME/ON/OFF knob clockwise to turn the radio on.
2. Slide the band selector to the desired waveband.
3. Turn the tuning knob to tune in to the desired station.
4. When playing FM or SW stations, fully extend the telescopic aerial for optimal reception.
5. When playing LW or AM stations, turn the unit slowly until the best reception is obtained.
6. Adjust the volume control to the desired level.
7. To turn off the radio, turn the VOLUME/ON/OFF knob anticlockwise until a click is heard.
AUX IN
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied) to the AUX IN jack at the side of the apparatus and audio
output jack of your external audio device.
2. Turn on your audio device and the sound will be heard through the speaker of the apparatus.
3. Adjust the volume level of the apparatus as desired.

Les piles (piles installées) ne doivent pas être exposées à une chaleur excessive telle
que celle du soleil, d'un feu ou d'origine similaire.
Déposez vos piles usagées auprès d'installation de recyclage pour protéger notre
environnement.
Lorsque la prise du réseau d'alimentation ou une prise placée sur l’appareil est utilise
comme dispositif de déconnexion, ce dispositif doit demeure aisément accessible.

Manipulation et utilisation des piles
Les piles ne doivent être manipulées que par les adultes. Ne laissez jamais les enfants
utiliser cet appareil sauf si le couvercle du logement des piles est solidement fermé.
Cet appareil fonctionne avec 4 piles de type C. Ces piles sont accessibles et peuvent
être changées.
Ouvrez le couvercle du logement des piles au dos de l’appareil pour pouvoir les sortir.

UTILISATION
La radio peut être alimentée par une prise secteur fournissant un courant de 230 V ou avec des piles
(non fournies).
Branchez le cordon d'alimentation dans une prise secteur ou insérez des piles en procédant comme suit :
1. Ouvrez le couvercle du logement des piles au dos de l’appareil.
2. Insérez quatre piles en respectant les indications de polarité présentent dans le logement.
3. Refermez le couvercle du logement.
Écouter la radio
1. Tournez le bouton VOLUME/Marche-Arrêt dans le sens horaire pour allumer la radio.
2. Sélectionnez une bande de fréquence avec le sélecteur de bande.
3. Tournez le bouton de syntonisation pour régler la fréquence d’une station de radio.
4. Lors de l’écoute d’une station FM ou OC (SW), déployez complètement l’antenne télescopique afin
d’améliorer la réception.
5. Lors de l’écoute d’une station GO (LW) ou AM, tournez lentement la radio jusqu’à obtenir la meilleure
réception possible.
6. Réglez le volume avec le bouton de réglage du volume.
7. Pour éteindre la radio, tournez le bouton VOLUME/Marche-Arrêt dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’à
entendre un déclic.
Entrée AUX (AUX IN)
1. Branchez un câble audio 3,5 mm (non fourni) dans l’entrée AUX (AUX IN) sur le côté de l’appareil et
dans la sortie audio d’une source audio externe.
2. Allumez la source audio externe, le son est diffusé par le haut-parleur de l’appareil.
3. Réglez le volume de cet appareil au niveau souhaité.

WAARSCHUWINGEN
Dit apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik en mag niet voor andere
doeleinden of toepassingen worden gebruikt, zoals niet-huishoudelijk gebruik of in
een commerciële omgeving.
Haal eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt of
onderhoudt.
Belemmer de ventilatie niet door het afdekken van de ventilatie-openingen met
voorwerpen zoals een krant, tafelkleed, gordijn, enz.
Plaats geen bronnen met open vlam, zoals een aangestoken kaars, op het apparaat.
Stel het apparaat niet bloot aan druppelend of spattend water en plaats geen, met
vloeistof gevulde, voorwerpen zoals vazen op het apparaat.
Ventilatie
Laat minstens een vrije ruimte van 10cm rond het product.
Dit apparaat is niet geschikt voor gebruik in een tropisch klimaat.
Stel batterijen (accupack of geïnstalleerde batterijen) nooit bloot aan overmatige
warmte zoals zonlicht, vuur, enz.
Maak, om het milieu te beschermen, gebruik van de lokale recyclingvoorzieningen
voor het afvoeren van gebruikte batterijen.
Daar waar de NETstekker of een aansluiting op een apparaat als uitschakelapparaat
wordt gebruikt, dient een dergelijke voorziening gemakkelijk bereikbaar te zijn voor
de bediening.

Deze markering is aangebracht om aan te geven dat het apparaat
conform de Europese richtlijnen inzake veiligheid en elektromagnetische
compatibiliteit is.
Installatie en gebruik van batterijen
Alleen volwassenen mogen handelingen met batterijen uitvoeren. Een kind mag dit
apparaat alleen gebruiken als het batterijdeksel op de juiste manier op het
batterijvak is bevestigd.
Het apparaat werkt op 4 C batterijen, die op eenvoudige wijze vervangen kunnen
worden.
Haal het batterijdeksel achteraan het apparaat af om de batterijen te verwijderen.

WERKING
De radio werkt op 230 V netvoeding of op batterijen (niet meegeleverd).
Steek de stekker van het AC-snoer in het stopcontact of installeer de batterijen als volgt.
1. Verwijder het batterijdeksel onderaan het toestel.
2. Installeer de batterijen volgens de juiste polariteit (+/-) zoals aangegeven binnenin het batterijvak.
3. Plaats het batterijdeksel terug.
Naar de radio luisteren
1. Draai de VOLUME/AAN/UIT knop met de klok mee om de radio in te schakelen.
2. Stel de bandkiezer op de gewenste golfband in
3. Draai aan de afstemregelaar om deze op het gewenste radiostation af te stemmen.
4. Bij het luisteren naar FM of SW-stations, trek de telescopische antenne volledig uit voor een optimale
ontvangst.
5. Bij het luisteren naar LW of AM-stations, draai het toestel langzaam totdat de beste ontvangst wordt
verkregen.
6. Stel de volumeregelaar op het gewenste niveau in.
7. Om de radio uit te schakelen, draai de VOLUME/AAN/UIT knop tegen de klok in totdat u een "klik"
hoort.
AUX IN
1. Sluit een 3,5mm audiokabel (niet meegeleverd) aan op de AUX IN-aansluiting aan de zijkant van het
apparaat en de audio-uitgangsaansluiting van uw extern audioapparaat.
2. Schakel uw audioapparaat in en het geluid komt uit de luidspreker van het apparaat.
3. Stel het volume van het apparaat zoals gewenst in.

ADVERTENCIAS
Este aparato ha sido diseñado únicamente para uso doméstico y no deberá utilizarse
para ningún otro fin ni en ninguna otra aplicación; como, por ejemplo, uso no
doméstico o entornos comerciales.
Asegúrese de desconectar el aparato de la red eléctrica antes de cualquier tarea de
limpieza o de mantenimiento.

residuos para su reciclaje posterior.
Cuando se utilice el enchufe o el conector del aparato como dispositivo de

Manipulación y uso de las pilas
Únicamente personas adultas podrán manipular las pilas. No permita que ningún
niño utilice esta unidad sin que la tapa del compartimento de las pilas se encuentre
perfectamente acoplada.
Esta unidad utiliza 4 pilas de tamaño C, las cuales son accesibles y pueden sustituirse.
Para extraer las pilas, bastará con retirar la tapa del compartimento situada en la
parte trasera del aparato.

FUNCIONAMIENTO
La radio puede alimentarse mediante corriente de red de 230 V o mediante pilas (no suministradas).
Conecte el cable de alimentación eléctrica a una toma de corriente adecuada o proceda a instalar las
pilas de la manera siguiente.
1. Retire la tapa del compartimento de las pilas de la parte trasera de la unidad.
2. Inserte las cuatro pilas respetando la polaridad indicada en el interior del compartimento de las pilas.
3. Vuelva a colocar en su sitio la tapa del compartimento de las pilas.
Utilización de la radio
1. Gire el mando VOLUME/ON/OFF en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para encender la radio.
2. Desplace el selector de banda a la banda de radio deseada.
3. Gire el mando de sintonización para sintonizar la emisora de radio que prefiera.
4. Cuando sintonice emisoras de FM o SW, asegúrese de extender totalmente la antena telescópica para
obtener una recepción óptima.
5. Cuando sintonice emisoras de LW o AM, oriente la unidad hasta obtener la mejor calidad de recepción
posible.
6. Ajuste el control de volumen al nivel deseado.
7. Para apagar la radio, gire el mando VOLUME/ON/OFF en el sentido contrario de las agujas del reloj
hasta oír un clic.
AUX IN
1. Conecte un cable de audio de 3,5 mm (no suministrado) al conector AUX IN del lateral del aparato y el
conector de salida de audio a su dispositivo de audio externo).
2. Encienda el dispositivo de audio y el sonido saldrá a través del altavoz del aparato.
3. Ajuste el nivel de volumen del aparato según desee.

VAROVÁNÍ
Přístroj je určen k použití v domácnosti a nesmí se používat k žádným jiným účelům
ani jiným způsobem, např. k jinému než domácímu použití nebo ke komerčním
účelům.
Před čištěním nebo údržbou přístroj odpojte ze zásuvky.
Nebraňte větrání zakrýváním větracích otvorů předměty, jako jsou např. noviny,
ubrusy, závěsy apod.
Na přístroj nepokládejte žádné zdroje otevřeného ohně, jako např. svíčky.
Přístroj nevystavujte kapající nebo stříkající tekutině a nestavte na něj předměty
naplněné tekutinami, jako např. vázy.
Větrání
Kolem výrobku ponechte alespoň 10 cm prostor.
Přístroj není vhodný pro použití v tropickém podnebí.
Baterie (bateriová balení nebo instalované baterie) nesmí být vystaveny
nadměrnému teplu, jako např. slunečnímu záření, požáru apod.
Pro ochranu životního prostředí použijte místní recyklační zařízení pro odstraňování
baterií.
Když se používá SÍŤOVÁ rozvodka, nebo sdružovač pro vypínaní zařízení, rozpojovací
zařízení musí být lehko přístupné.

Manipulace s bateriemi a jejich použití
S bateriemi by měli manipulovat pouze dospělí. Nedovolte dětem používat toto

V zařízení jsou 4 baterie typu C, které jsou přístupné a lze je vyměňovat.
Sejměte kryt baterií na zadní straně přístroje a baterie vyjměte.
