mentmanufacturer’s guidelines and safety standardssuch asthose published by the
NationalFireProtectionAssociation(NFPA),andtheAmericanSocietyforHeating,Re-
frigerationandAirConditioningEngineers (ASHRAE), andthelocalcodeauthorities.
5. When cutting or drilling into wall or ceiling, do not damage electrical wiring and other
hiddenutilities.
6. Ductedfans must always be ventedto the outdoors.
7. Donot use thisunit with anysolid-state speed controldevice.
8. To reduce the risk of fire, use only steel ductwork.
