The light will come on ONLY du ing heat cycle. It will cycle on and off with
tempe atu e.
In t al Use:
Heat the appliance without a pot fo app oximately 10 minutes at maximum setting
in o de fo the special coating to seal. Tempo a y smoking is no mal du ing initial
use.

Use only pots and pans designed fo elect ic anges with the suitable diamete .
Uneven o too-small pot bottoms do not allow efficient heating and will esult in
loss of ene gy.

The heating element is equipped with a patented the mostatic system which gives
an infinitely va iable tempe atu e selection. You heating element always heats
up with maximum powe until it eaches the tempe atu e you selected. The eafte ,
the the mostat adjusts itself to maintain the tempe atu e; this is indicated by the
pilot lamp going on and off. Afte a sho t pe iod of time, you will find the tempe atu e
that is ight fo you application, and e-setting the tempe atu e is gene ally not
necessa y.
