ØThesystem supporting ACPIorAPMII.
ØATXmotherboardand ATXpowersupply.
Thefunctionsofthepowermanagement arespecifiedand performedbyWindowsÒ98 operating
system, novendor-specifieddriverisneededtousethem, but theWindowsÒ98 operatingsystem
isnecessary. Therecouldbeoneortwoorthree ACPIpowermanagement keysonthekeyboard,
thosefunctionsareasfollows.
Power off key: Powerdownthesystem.
Sleep key: Put thesystemtosleep.
Wakeup key: Wakeup orpowersup thesystem.
Power key: (Singlekeywiththree functionsabove)
ØPress thiskeyand holdoverfoursecondstopowerdownthesystem.
ØPress thiskeyand releaseit withinfoursecondstoput thesystemtosleep.
ØWhenthesystemisasleeporpowereddown, press thiskeyand releaseit withinfour
secondstowakeup orpowerup thesystem.
