1. DuringinitialinstallationoftheUSBdevice,thesystemwill
automaticallydetectanewhardwarebeingadded,and thenbringup
"Add NewHardwareWizard"dialogue box.Pleasefollowthe Wizard's
USBdriverinstallationsteps.Oncethisinstallationstepiscompleted
thebasicfunctionsoftheUSBdevicewillworkundertheoperating
system.
2. Makesurethebatteriesofthe keyboardareinstalledcorrectly.Please
followthepolaritysignsinthebatterycompartment.
Pairing Procedure
The wirelesskitcanoperateoutofthe boximmediately.Ifitcan twork,
pleasefollowthestepsbelowtoprocess IDsetting oftheWirelessKit.
The ID-recognitionfunctionhelpstoprotectagainstinterferencefromother
RFproductsinthesameenvironment. RemembertopairIDwhenother
RFproductsaffectyourkeyboardkit.
1.Press thepairing/connectbuttononright-bottomofthePC.
2.Next,pressandholdthepairing/connectbuttononthebottomofthe
keyboardatleast 10 seconds.
3.ReceiverLEDindicatorflashes3timesrapidlyasindication it spaired
withthiskeyboard.
Note:
-Thewholeprocedureshouldbecompleted within60seconds.
-MakesureyourPCison andrunningwhendoingthepairing procedure.
-You don thave topairIDagainafterchangingbatteries.
BatteryLowAlarm
-Thereare4differentlevelsforbatterypowerindication. Thebatterylowicon will showintheWindowssystemtraywhen
keyboardbatteriesarelow(at Level3and Level4).
-Thecurrentstatusofbatterypowerwill showupon theWindowssystemtraywhenmovingcursorontheKeyMaestrodriver
icon .
-Thebatterylowicon willdisappearwhenyouchangethebatteries.
BatteryInformation
1.Werecommendusingalkalinebatteriesforalongerbatterylife.
2.Alwayschangebatterieswhenbatterylowalarmappears,otherwisethekeyboardwillshut downoncethe batteryvoltageis
toolow.
3.Don'tmixdifferent typesof batteriesornewandoldbatteriestogether.Always replaceoldbatterieswithnewandsametype
batteries.
4.Removebatteriesafterlongperiodsofnon-use.Batteryleakageorcorrosionmaydamagethe devicequalityandcause
danger.
