HUBL3 Umbrella-Style Hunting Blind

SHELTER: KEEP SHELTER FABRIC AWAY FROM ALL FLAMES AND HEAT SOURCES.
This shelter fabric meets CPAI-84 (SOR/90-245 in Canada) fire resistance specifications. The
application of any foreign substance to the tent fabric may render the flame-resistant properties
ineffective. This fabric is not fire proof. Fabric will burn if left in contact with a continuous source
of flame. The application of any foreign substance may cause ineffectiveness of the flame
resistant properties.
The blind fabric is not fireproof. The fabric will burn if left in continuous contact with a flame source. The
following precautions should be taken when using this blind:
• DO NOT use candles, matches or open flames of any kind in or near a blind.
• DO NOT cook inside a blind or use any device that omits carbon monoxide.
• Exercise extreme caution when using fuel powered lanterns or heaters inside a blind. Use battery-
operated lanterns when possible. Some lanterns & heaters emit carbon monoxide, which can be fatal.
• DO NOT refuel lamps, heaters or stoves inside a blind.
• Extinguish or turn off all lanterns before going to sleep.
• DO NOT smoke in a blind.
• DO NOT store flammable liquids inside a blind.
• While fires anywhere near a blind are discouraged, if you do build a fire, make sure the fire is
downwind and 25 feet or more away from the blind. Be sure to fully extinguish all fires before retiring for
the night or leaving the immediate area.
• DO NOT use a firearm of any type with “shoot through” mesh, as the mesh fabric can burn due to
firearm discharge.

ASSEMBLY
• Remove the Hunting Blind from the Storage bag.
• Carefully unfold the Hunting Blind and locate the TOP CENTER STRAP.
• Pull on the TOP CENTER STRAP while holding the side panel.
• Several short tugs on the TOP CENTER STRAP will allow the Hunting Blind to unfold. Be patient,
the Hunting Blind may be “stiff” when it is first removed from the carton. The “umbrella-style” design
will eventually loosen up as you tug on the TOP CENTER STRAP.
• Once the TOP CENTER STRAP is extended, grab each SIDE STRAP and pull until the
panel has been extended.
• Position the Hunting Blind away from fire source and secure with stakes.
• You do not always have to secure all sides of the Hunting Blind, depending on the amount
of wind and preferred rigidity.
• Excessive tension may damage the frame.
• Do not store the Hunting Blind while wet.
• Close all windows and the door before storing.
