the race track, but in endurance tests acrossthe country

Buick drew plentyof attention becauseit could elimb
hills and run through mud like no othercs.Buick's
endurance and reliability were
world famous.
During World War
I, Buick built Liberty aircraft engines
as well as Red Cross ambulances
so successful that one
Buick ambulance was awardedthe Croix de Gaerreby
the French government.
First Buick Factory

In World War 11, Buick built aircraft engines, tanks and
other military hardware. This post-war period brought
great styling and engineering changes which resultedin
increased sales. The torque converter automatic
transmission, Dynaflow, was introduced in the
1948
Roadmaster. Buick’s famous “portholes” came along in
1949.

“Car
of the Year”. The firstproduction V-6 engine was
used in the Special.

The power seat controlis located on the side of the seat.
Front Control, (F): Raise the front of the seatby
If you have this option,
you have two levers under the holding the switch
up. Hold the switch downto lower'
front edgeof the seat. The lever near the outerside of the frontof the seat.

CenterControl (C): Move the seat forward or back by
back. The lever near the centerallows
YOU to tilt the scat holding
the control to the front Or back. Raiseor lower
up and down. the seatby holding the control
up or down.
