OPERATING THE CAMERA
Note: If you are not located in the US, or if you
intend to use this product anywhere other
than the US, you will need to purchase a
converter in order to use the AC wall plug in
and avoid damaging the product. Because
different countries use different voltages in
their electrical wiring, you will need a
converter that adapts to the current in your
particular country.
IMPORTANT WARRANY INFORMATION: If
the warranty sticker on your device has been
removed or tampered with, your lifetime
warranty will be voided. You may be charged
fees or denied a return should this happen.
POWERING THE DEVICE
1. This device is powered by plug-in only.
You will need to connect the device’s
power cord to a functional outlet in
order to operate the device.

HOW TO TURN ON THE CAMERA
1. Point the remote control towards the
front of the Blu-Ray Player, and press
the “Power Button” on the remote
(see page 4). The indicator LED light
on the back of the Blu-Ray Player will
turn on.
2. The camera is now in Standby Mode.
NOTE: If the light doesn’t come on, try many
different angles when pressing the power
button and pointing it at the front of the
device. Do not hold down the power button.

HOW TO RECORD VIDEO
1. When the camera is in Standby Mode,
press the “Video Button” (see page 4).
The indicator LED will flash three
times.
2. Once the indicator LED turns off, the
camera is now recording video.

HOW TO STOP RECORDING VIDEO
1. While the camera is recording video,
press the “Video Button” once more.
(The indicator LED will turn on.)
2. The camera has now stopped
recording and is now in Standby
Mode.
HOW TO TAKE PICTURES
1. When the camera is in Standby Mode,
press the “Photo Button” (see page 4).
The indicator LED will flash once.
2. Once the indicator LED flashes, the
picture has been taken.
a. The device will return to
standby mode after the picture
has been taken.
HOW TO RECORD MOTION DETECTION
1. In Standby mode, press the Motion
Detection button one time (see page

4). The indicator light will flash three
times and then turn off.
2. The unit is now in motion detection
mode and will begin recording video
once motion is detected. There will be
no LED indicator to indicate when
motion is detected.
HOW TO STOP RECORDING MOTION
DETECTION
1. While the camera is recording motion
detection, press the “Motion
Detection Button”once more. (The
indicator LED will turn on.)
2. The camera has stopped recording
motion detection and is now in
Standby Mode.
SETTING THE DATE/TIME STAMP
1. Visit http://time.mgidownloads.com/
2. Choose “All Bush Baby Stealth” from
the device SKU dropdown.

3. Choose your time zone from the time
zone dropdown.
4. Click Submit.
5. The appropriate time file will be
downloaded to your computer’s
downloads folder.
6. Open your “downloads”folder on
your computer.
7. Find the time file that was
downloaded. (It should be the most
recent download and the name will
match what you saw in your browser
download notification).
8. Right click on the file and choose
“Copy”.
9. Remove the MicroSD Card from the
device and plug it into your computer
using the card reader (see page 3 to
locate the MicroSD card slot on your
device).
10. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the
(My) Computer folder.

11. Open the Removable Disk drive
12. In the blank area below any existing
folder or files (if present), right click
with your mouse and choose “Paste”.
13. The time file you copied from your
“downloads”folder should appear.
14. Power on the device and do a test
recording to confirm the time/date
setting succeeded.
MICROSD CARD SLOT
See page 3 to locate the MicroSD card slot on
the back of your device.
1. Gently push the MicroSD Card into the
slot. The gold contacts on the card will
be inserted first, and they should face
the main circuit board. You will feel
some spring resistance before the card
clicks in to place.
a. Never force the card into the
Card Slot under any
circumstances. Otherwise, the

unit or the MicroSD card itself
will be damaged.
2. To remove the SD card, gently push
the card in so that it clicks. The
internal spring tension will eject the
card.
MicroSD cards 65GB and above will require
special formatting to work. The device will
not function with these cards if they are not
properly formatted beforehand.
Visit www.mgidownloads.com/Software and
download the “guiformat.zip” file. Extract the
files and follow the instructions in the “64GB
SD Card Formatting.pdf” document.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Ensure that the
BluRayPlayer is off before inserting the
MicroSD card. Otherwise potential corruption
of the card file(s) may occur.

RETRIEVE THE FILES TO YOUR PC
1. Remove the MicroSD Card from the
device and plug it into your computer
using the card reader. See page 4 to
locate the MicroSD card slot on your
device.
2. Locate “Removable Disk” inside the
(My) Computer folder.
3. AutoPlay Removable Disk > Open
folder to view files.

8. Open the folder.
9. Double click the file you want to view.
VLC Player is recommended for
watching videos.

TROUBLESHOOTING
THE DEVICE WON’T TURN ON
Make sure the power cable is securely
plugged into a functioning electrical
outlet.
THE DEVICE HAS CRASHED
You need to reset the device by
unplugging and plugging in the device.
DEVICE CONTINUALLY RECORDS IN MOTION
MODE
Motion detection is measured by
changing pixels during recording. Any
kind of motion including shifting
shadows or changing lighting
conditions can set off motion
detection.
