Congratulations on your purchase of the Bushnell® Outdoorsman Bluetooth® Speaker. Outdoorsman is a rugged, high quality
wireless speaker designed to entertain the avid outdoor enthusiast. This owner’s guide will help you achieve optimum satisfaction
with the product by explaining its features and operation, as well as how to care for it. To ensure best performance and longevity,
please read these instructions before using your Outdoorsman.

POWER AND BLUETOOTH™ SPEAKER OPERATION
1. To charge the Outdoorsman’s internal lithium-ion battery, connect a smartphone or tablet’s USB charger (any 1A or 2A rated USB
charger) to the “IN” micro USB port (1) on the Outdoorsman. The battery is fully charged when the Outdoorsman’s Indicator Ring
(10) turns green. A fully charged battery will provide approximately 10 hours operating time at a normal, moderate volume level.
Low power is indicated by a ashing orange ring. When the battery charge drops below 3% remaining, the Outdoorsman will
power o automatically.
2. The “OUT” micro USB port (2) can be used to recharge your phone if necessary while away from other power sources. Note: using
the Outdoorsman to recharge mobile devices will reduce the battery level and operating time of the Outdoorsman.
3. Hold the Power button on the Outdoorsman (6) until the startup sound is heard and indicator light will blink fast orange.
4. Make sure the Outdoorsman is within 10meters/32 feet from your mobile device. Activate Bluetooth® on your portable device and
select “Outdoorsman” from list of available devices. Once paired, the indicator light will be solid orange and music from your
portable devise will be heard on the Outdoorsman.
5. To disconnect the currently paired device, press Plus and Minus buttons simultaneously. The indicator light will blink fast orange,
indicating the device has been disconnected, and the Outdoorsman is ready to pair with a new device. Note: when powered on, the
Outdoorsman automatically reconnects to the last mobile device it was paired with. The Outdoorsman can memorize up to 8 paired
devices. The Outdoorsman will shut o after 10 minutes in pairing mode if no devices have been paired, as a power saving feature.
6. Use the Plus (3) and Minus (4) buttons to adjust speaker volume up or down. Press the Play button (5) to pause music, press again
to resume. Press and hold the Plus button to advance to the next track. Press and Hold the Minus button to start a track over from
the beginning.
7. The Outdoorsman has a microphone which allows you to take incoming calls. To answer an incoming call, press the Play button.
To reject an incoming call, Press and hold the Play button. To end a call, press Play. To redial the last called number, press and hold
the Play button.
TRUE WIRELESS STEREO CONNECTION OPERATION requires two Outdoorsman speakers)
TWS technology enables you to use two Outdoorsman speakers, pairing via Bluetooth to create a wireless dual-channel system to
deliver a true stereo eect with a left and right channel.
True Wireless Stereo Connection and Operation:
1. Place two Outdoorsman speakers near each other, not more than ten meters apart.
2. Power on the two Outdoorsman speakers.
3. Your portable device will automatically connect with the Speaker that was last used. Then, disconnect that Speaker from the
Bluetooth device list on your portable device.
4. Double press the power button on the Speaker that was previously connected to your portable device. This Speaker will be your
Left Channel (main Speaker). A conrmation tone will play when connected in TWS mode successfully. The LED indicator light
should be blinking orange on the main Speaker.
5. Reconnect the Outdoorsman speaker via Bluetooth on your portable device.
*If you’re having issues connecting both speakers in TS, make sure your Bluetooth connection is o before pairing to the main Speaker.
DISCONNECT THE TRUE WIRELESS STEREO CONNECTION
Press + and – buttons on one of the speakers simultaneously until the LED indicator light is blinking fast orange light.
POWER BANK FEATURE
1. Lift the “Out” port cover.
2. Plug the USB-A cable to the USB out port on a speaker and charge a portable device. If the Speaker is on, it will automatically start
charging. If the Speaker is o, press the power button to turn on the Speaker to use the charging feature.
Note: The power bank function will automatically shut down after 10 seconds if the Speaker is o and no device is connected to be charged.
CHANGE EQ MODE
Double press Play button to change the sound mode. The LED indicator light will slowly blink orange in outdoor mode and keep solid
orange in indoor mode.
NFC FEATURE
Enable your device’s NFC feature, if equipped, and place your device near the NFC chip on the BT speaker. Then, follow the instructions
on your device. If the connection is established successfully, your device and the BT speaker will be connected automatically.
IPX6 WATER RESISTANT FEATURE
This Speaker is equipped with IPX6 technology that makes it water-resistant but not waterproof. Therefore, the Speaker should never
be submerged in water or liquid. Remove all cable connections and close the port covers tightly after charging and before use.
*Important Note: All cables must be disconnected and the port tabs must be properly closed for the Speaker to be water-resistant.

RESETTING THE SPEAKER
If the function buttons are not working, disconnect the charging cable, place a small pin into the reset hole, and hold for two seconds
until the LED light is o.
CLEANING AND GENERAL CARE
IMPORTANT NOTE: To ensure the Outdoorsman is water resistant, remove all cable connections and close the port protection cover
tightly after charging and before use.
Follow these tips for proper cleaning and maintenance:
• Blow away any excessive dust or debris on exterior (or use a soft brush).
• To remove dirt or nger prints, clean with a micro-ber cloth. The Outdoorsman is water resistant, but should not be exposed to
heavy rain or other direct streams of water, and will not withstand submersion in water or other liquids.
• When you are not using the speaker/remote, please store it in a secure, dry indoor location for additional protection.
TROUBLESHOOTING:
Cannot Power On
Charge the Speaker and make sure it has enough battery power.
Cannot connect with the device
Please check the following:
• The Bluetooth device supports the A2DP prole.
• The Speaker is within 10m of the device.
• The Speaker is in pairing mode, the LED indicator blinking orange
No Sound
Make sure the music volume is at an audible level on both your device and Speaker.
Ensure your device is successfully paired with the Speaker, the LED indicator light being a solid orange.
Poor Sound Quality
Move the portable device closer to the Outdoorsman or remove any obstacle between them.
CAUTION:
• Keep the Speaker and accessories out of reach from children as they may be a choking hazard.
• Keep the Speaker away from re, water, liquids, extreme heat, and strong magnetic elds.
• Do NOT use this Speaker at high volume for an extended time as it may cause permanent hearing damage or loss.
• Do NOT drop or knock the Speaker on hard surfaces.
• Do NOT use chemicals or detergents to clean the speakers.
• Do NOT scrape the surface with sharp objects.
• Do NOT make any unauthorized alterations to the product.
WARNING: This product uses a Lithium based battery. Lithium batteries can overheat and cause damage if physically abused.
Do not use batteries that are damaged or show signs of physical wear.
WARNING: Fire Hazard! Do not short-circuit batteries. Batteries may overheat or explode.
WARNING: Danger to life. Keep batteries out of the reach of pets and children. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately.
WARNING: Do not expose batteries to water or re. Do not attempt to charge non-rechargeable batteries.The batteries may
explode.
BITE MAGNETIC MOUNT
The Outdoorsman features a powerful BITE magnet incorporated into its housing, which allows the device to be securely attached to a
golf cart bar or frame.
WARNING: Bite feature included with device contains a Neodymium magnet. Magnets could aect the functioning of pacemakers
and implanted heart debrillators. If you use these devices, keep sucient distance from magnet. Warn others who wear these
devices from getting too close to magnets.
• Magnet may lose part of its adhesive force permanently if exposed to temperatures above o F (o C).
• Magnets produce far-reaching, strong magnetic eld. They could damage TVs and laptops, computer hard drives, credit and ATM
cards, data storage media, mechanical watches, hearing aids and speakers. Keep unit away from devices and objects that could be
damaged by strong magnetic elds.
• Magnets have strong magnetic elds which can pinch skin and ngers. Use caution when attaching the unit to a metal bar.

TAKING OFF AND PUTTING ON THE EXO™ARMOR
Your Outdoorsman Bluetooth Speaker comes with two EXO™ARMOR skins that can be changed
whenever you wish. We encourage you to aways have an EXO™ARMOR on your speaker as it will
help protect your speaker from any falls or drops.
How to put the EXO™ARMOR on your OUTDOORSMAN
STEP 2: Pull and stretch the Exo™ Armor
onto the bottom of the
Outdoorsman.
STEP 3: Pull the Exo™ Armor up the rest
of the way onto the Outdoorsman.
How to remove the EXO™ARMOR from your OUTDOORSMAN

USING THE BITE STRAP
Your Outdoorsman Bluetooth Speaker comes with another helpful accessory, the adjustable
BITE Strap. Using the BITE Strap, you can secure your speaker to almost any object around your
campsite. Open and adjust the cam buckle to t around the object you want to attach the
speaker. This could be a tree trunk, a secured post, etc. Once the strap is tight around the object,
secure the cam buckle. Place the BITE Magnet, on the back of the speaker, on the metal plate.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Bushnell® Outdoorsman Bluetooth® Speaker is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year after the date of
purchase. In the event of a defect under this warranty, we will, at our option, repair or replace the product, provided that you return the product
postage prepaid. This warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, improper handling, installation, or maintenance provided by someone
other than a Bushnell® Authorized Service Department.
Do not send in accessories (case, strap, etc.), only the product for repair.
