Charging the Wrist Device
Charge the CaddieON Wrist Device before rst use.
Connect the USB charging adapter with the wrist de-
vice by matching the arrow symbols (1) and pressing
one end of the adapter against the wrist device until it
snaps into place (2).
Charging takes approximately 2 hours. The green light
blinks during charging and remains steady once the
battery is full.

About CaddieON Wrist Device
Overview

Switching the device on
Push the power button until the device vibrates. Blue
light starts blinking steadily indicating the device is
active.

Keep device o when you are not using it. Your device
is switched o automatically when you end your round
and if it is stored for prolonged time.

CaddieON Account and Application
You need the CaddieON application and CaddieON
account in order to use the wrist device.
The CaddieON mobile application is available on the
App Store and Google Play.
Create user account when you use the application for
the rst time. You need an Internet access to create an
account.
Once you create an account you get CaddieON credits
worth of 3 free course map downloads. With the sales
package comes a code for 7 more free downloads.
Register the credits to your account according to the
instructions in the credits slip.

Before Your First Round
Make sure you have completed following actions
before your rst round:
1. Pair the wrist device with your phone
2. Register your clubs
3. Set your handedness
4. Create your putt prole
A setup wizard for this is available when you log in to
the application for the rst time. The wizard can also be
started from the application main menu under “Help”
at any time.

Pairing the Wrist Device, Android
1. Do not use any other Bluetooth devices with your
phone during pairing.
2. Open the pairing view by selecting “Wrist Device”
in the application main menu. The application will
request permission to activate the mobile phone’s
Bluetooth if necessary.
3. Switch on the wrist device by pressing and holding
the power button down for about 5 seconds until
the device has vibrated two times. Release the
button and the light starts blinking in a series of
three quick ashes.
4. Touch ”Connect Wrist Device”.
5. Accept the Bluetooth connection request.
Message on phone display indicates a successful
pairing.
Should the pairing fail the rst time, repeat steps 4 -5.

Pairing the Wrist Device, iPhone
1. Do not use any other Bluetooth devices with your
phone during pairing.
2. Switch on the wrist device by pressing and holding
the power button down for about 5 seconds until
the device has vibrated two times. Release the
button and the light starts blinking in a series of
three quick ashes.
3. Go to your iPhone settings and open the Blue-
tooth menu. CaddieON Wrist device appears in the
list after a while.
4. Tap on the CaddieON device in the My devices list
to establish a connection.
5. Accept the bluetooth pairing request by tapping
”Pair”.
Pairing has been completed successfully when the
device status changes to “Connected”.
Activate the Wrist Device (iPhone only)
To use the wrist device with the CaddieON application,
the wrist device needs to be activated.
To do this open the application main menu and select
”Wrist Device”.

Attaching the Club Tags
Attach a tag to each club in your set by placing it into
the hole in the grip and turning it clockwise until it sits
tightly.

Club Registration
Open club registration by selecting “My Clubs” in the
application main menu.
To add a club:
1. Touch “Add club”/(+) to open the registration
wizard.
2. Select the club type and brand and enter optional
club model.
3. Touch “Tag”.
4. Bring the tag close to the tag reader ( ) on the
wrist device strap.
The wrist device vibrates when the tag has been read.
Register the remaining clubs as described above.
Touch the CaddieON icon ( )/”Home” to return to
main view .

Setting Your Handedness
Open the application settings by selecting “General
Settings”in the application main menu.
Select your handedness from the application options.
• Wear the wrist device on the leading hand (top
hand of your grip). So if you play from right, wear
CaddieON wrist device on your left hand.
• Make sure the wrist device is in the right orienta-
tion, see picture below.
Exit settings by pressing the CaddieON icon ( )
/”Home” on the top.

Creating a Putt Prole
Before you begin:
Reserve few golf balls and make sure you have enough
room for 3 meter/10 feet putts.
1. Select ”Putt Proler” in the application main menu
and read the opening display info.
2. Place the phone on the ground so you can follow
the on-screen instructions.
3. Touch “Start” to begin the 3-step putt prole
creation.
The application will guide you through the steps of the
prole creation.
Avoid any unnecessary impacts to the putter during
the process.
You can update your putt prole at any time by
conducting the steps described above.

Using CaddieON
Starting a new round
1. Wear the wrist device and turn it on.
2. Start a new round from the application main view.
You need Internet connection to download the
course map data.
3. Check that your phone has got a GPS location x.
Playing with CaddieON
1. Keep the phone in your pocket with screen locked
when you are not using it.
2. Tag the club with the wrist device before each
shot. The wrist device vibrates when the tag is
read.
3. Take your shot. Stroke is automatically detected
regardless of the tagging and it is recorded to the
stroke list in the app.
4. Complete the hole and review the strokes list. You
can edit each stroke by touching it in the phone
display.
After Your Round
Log to your account with a browser to see your game
data and sophisticated statistics in
portal.caddieon.com

Tips for Using CaddieON
Follow these recommendations for optimal operation
of CaddieON.
• Tighten the wrist band, so that the device stays
rmly on yet feels comfortable to wear.
• Make sure the club tags are rmly secured when
playing.
• Always have the phone on you during the round.
The GPS position is taken from your mobile and
the range on the Bluetooth connection between
the wrist device and the phone is limited.
• If possible, keep the phone in your front pocket on
the same side as the wrist device is worn.
• Always keep CaddieON app active while playing.
• Try to keep your putting as consistent as possible
even with short putts: have a follow through and
keep your posture for a while after the ball impact.
• Change the default game settings according to
your playing style by selecting “General Settings”
from the main menu.
• The CaddieON app has full functionality for editing
your round data. Refer to the user guide for the
app functionalities.
