Introduction
This guide is intended to help the end user understand the features of the SATKF2000 programmer
and to assist them in making changes to the operate of the programmer and heat interface unit (HIU)
or confirm the operating parameters.
The installer of the system will have commissioned and set the programmer to typical operating
conditions, which can be altered to suit individual comfort requirements.
The HIU and programmer can be operated and the settings altered by using the buttons, observing
the changing symbols on the LED screen and following the instructions in this guide.

Selecting the Operating Mode
Summer and Winter Operation
The oper ating modes you can set are:
SELECTED
STATUS ID ICONS

SUMMER
WINTER
HEATING ONLY
Select the operating mode by
pressing key several times
Press Once - OFF: all request are disabled
USER
Press Twice - SUMMER: the heat
interface unit is enabled to produce
domestic hot water only
Press 3 Times - WINTER: the heat
interface unit is enabled to produce
both domestic hot water and spece
heating.

COMFORT MODE enables/disables the
domestic hot water pre-heating.
To set the clock and the temperature of
this remote programmer and of the

COMFORT FUNCTION - Enabling / disabling DOMESTIC HOT WATER pre-heating

3. After 30 secs the central display will go
back to showing the current ambient
temperature.
4. The set temperature can be changed
again at any time by turning button .
5. The set temperature can be displayed
by pressing key .
6. The selected temperature will continue
until the next phase, when the
programmer switches off the space
heating or the night program commences.

Holiday Mode
The programmer can be set to override other functions when the premises will be un-occupied eg.
during holidays.
This is important during winter when the DHW and Heating pipework could freeze causing flooding
and damage.
Holiday protection is in additional to the anti-freeze function.
Everyday during the holiday the space heating program will follow the set pattern for each day.
