Power on
To power on the uPro, press and hold the Menu button
for at least three seconds.
Play Golf
Select the golf course that you are currently playing.
Increase Font Size in ProMode
You can change the font size to large under, Settings,
Preferences, ProMode Font. Select Normal or Large. The
arrow will point at whichever option has been selected.
Sleep Mode
The uPro enters a sleep mode every 30 seconds.
To resume play, press the center button.
View in Sunlight
The screen on the uPro is
a transective screen and
is designed to be viewed
in the sun. The best way to
view the uPro is with the sun’s light shining
directly into the screen. Once the sun’s
light is shining into the screen, adjust the
angle of the uPro in your hand until the
screen is illuminated. The uPro uses the
sun’s light to illuminate the screen.
Adjust uPro angle until screen is illuminated.
Note: Increasing the backlight will not help, it will only drain
the battery.
Manual Hole Change
You can manually change holes by either hitting the up/
down directional arrow from Basic Mode, or by selecting
the Menu button during play, select Change Hole, and select
the hole you need.
Green Outline
To turn on the outline of the green in ProMode, select
Settings, Preferences, Green Outline, select On or O. The
arrow will point at whichever option has been selected.
Hole Entry Mode
You can set the uPro to directly into ProMode instead of
Basic Mode after the yover. Select Settings, Preferences,
Hole Entry Mode, select Basic Mode or ProMode. The arrow
will point at whichever option has been selected.
Access Settings while in Play
To access the settings while in play, press the Menu button.
Navigate through the settings menu with the directional
arrows and center button as select. The menu button
also acts as a back button. Once you are done in settings,
hit Exit (right LCD select) and you will be returned to play.

GreenView
Shows you the hole number,
par, and the distance to the front,
center and back of the green.
Mark Shot
To mark a shot from Basic Mode
press the Mark button (right LCD
select). The mark indicator will turn
red once it has been initiated. The
distance will tally in the red box as
you are moving toward your ball.
Once you reach your ball, press
the Right LCD select button and a
screen will show you the nal distance of your shot. Select
Return to go back to Basic Mode or select Mark Start to begin
another tally.
Hazard View
Gives you a list of each hazard listed
in sequential order from where you
are currently located. Press the
button on any hazard and it will
take you to the ProMode view of
the hazard.
Engage ProMode by pressing the Pro button on the right
edge of your uPro device.
Use this button to toggle between Basic and ProMode.
Note: One free ProMode course download is included with purchase of the
device. Additional ProMode course downloads requires a fee.
Flyover
Before each hole you will see
a video yover. The yardage
markers at 100,150, and 200
are super-imposed on
the yover.
You can skip the yover at
anytime by pressing the
Left LCD select button.
SmartView™
Generates 3 custom views;
where your shot should be
targeted, a zoomed in view
of the green, and a bird’s eye
view of the hole. All with the
distances superimposed on
the image. Pressing the center
button will cycle through
the views.
Your Location
The red diamond icon shows
your actual location on the
course. As you move about
the course, the distances will
continually update based on
your current location.
Pan/Zoom
The left LCD button toggles between
pan or zoom. Pan is controlled by all 4
directional arrows. Zoom is controlled
by the up arrow and the down arrow.
ProMode™ AnyPoint™
To measure to AnyPoint, select “Meas” with the right LCD
select button, use the directional arrows to move the yellow
cursor to anywhere on the hole.
Layup Measurement
Measure to where you want your
shot to end, press the center
button and move the cursor to
where your rst shot should land.
The rst distance is the distance
of the rst shot and the second
distance is the distance to the
end point.
