Rights Declaration

FM30/fm50 Quick Start Guide
Improper use of the machine can lead to personal injury. Therefore, it is important to read the manual and acknowledge how to
use the laser safely in order to avoid any injury and damage to the product or other connected items. In order to avoid the possi-
bility of danger, this product can only be used within the prescribed scope.
1) Do not direct the laser to your or others’ eyes even when the condition of the laser is listed as turned off since errors may occur.
2) Any items that contain irrelevant reflection and diffuse objects are prohibited to be placed near the equipment in case the laser
directly reflects to the human body or flammable items.
3) Lasers should not be given to children, mental incompetence, or anyone who are not educated with the characteristic of laser
under any circumstances as they are vulnerable to danger and damage the machine can cost.
4) As the light produced by this laser is invisible, inflammable and explosive items are strictly prohibited to be placed near the laser
in case of causing fire incidents.
5) For invisible laser, we suggest wearing protection glasses when using the machine.
6) The top cover plate must be covered when in use in case the laser deviating and causing damage to people.
7) When the voltage is unstable, it is prohibited to start up the CAMFive Laser Machine FM30/FM50. Otherwise, a voltage stabilizer
must be used.
8) The filter screen of the fan from fiber optic equipment should be cleaned regularly.
We suggest not to use it for long when the amperemeter is in the maximum state as it will break down laser power and shorten the
life of the laser.
9) Cut off the power immediately if there is a malfunction or an outbreak of fire.
Safety Requirement
Do not operate or continue to operate the machine if you suspect there is any damage. Contact us for an inspection immediately.
Do not operate the machine in a wet environment.
Do not operate the machine in an explosive environment.
Keep the surface clean and dry.
Suggest all related workers read this manual.

Optical fiber laser marking machine is a kind of professional laser marking equipment,
which integrated light, machine, electricity, independent research and development, and
production. The key components are imported. Our machine is with the advantage of novel
style, unique structure, convenient operation, high-frequency modulation, high marking
speed and precision, and stable performance. It is widely used in all kinds of metallic and
nonmetallic surfaces for permanent markers.

Chapter Two: Working principle and structure
2.1 Marking Principle
FM30/fm50 Quick Start Guide
* The laser light energy evaporates the material in the surface and shows lower
material;
* The laser light energy causes the surface chemical to change physically and
"engrave" the needed text pattern
* The laser light energy burns part of the material before showing the design and
text of etching.
2.2 Structure Description
The optical fiber laser marking machine is mainly made up of the control cabinet,
optical fiber laser, marking head, working table, and computers, etc.

Laser marking machine should be used in a clean environment when possible with 10 ℃
-35 ℃. The optical device should be kept dry and clean. It is highly recommended a sepa-
rate and closed workshop for this machine in order to assure a constant temperature
indoor. The ground also needs floor lacquer or ceramic tile. An air conditioner should be
installed in the room as well.
The customer shall provide at least 800W power in a single-phase ac power supply.
The main power supply provided must be with a physical connection. Virtual connections
are strictly prohibited!

① Turn the air switch on
② Turn on the computer
③ Turn on the switch button for laser
power in the front panel
④ Turn on the scanner power supply,
then the red light power supply.
⑤ Note: Adjust the power to your needs
accordingly. Do not use full power for a
long period of time!

⑥ Adjust the focal length for marking.
Adjust the height of the lifting worktable. Keep the distance as
the shown picture. The distance should be adjusted to 215mm
(±10mm). This distance here will be referred to as focus length.
When the laser light is on the focus, the laser light is the stron-
gest. Input the content to the computer, then start marking.
Adjust Current
Frequency adjustment within range 20-80 kHz. In
most situations, consider adjusting to 20 kHz.

① Adjust current to the minimum (this can effectively reduce
the impact on laser module)
② Turn off laser power supply switch
③ Turn off scanner power and the red light power in the front
panel.
④ Shut down the computer
⑤ Shut down the air switch
Please preheat 40 seconds before marking during the winter
Note: Turn off the laser power supply. Wait at least 20 se-
conds before shutting off the air switch.
Please install an air conditioner indoor if possible
1. Avoid direct eye contact with the laser light
2. Use laser only in a controlled range with warning signs.
3. Do not use machines without permission. Machines can
only be operated by trained professionals.

Chapter Four: Precautions for Use
4.1 Caution for Daily Operation
3.2.2 Sequence of Shutting the Equipment Down

4. Laser beam path should be closed as far as possible in case the laser is leaked.
5. The fan must be checked if it is working correctly after being started up.
6. Use professional paper to wipe the lens clean. After wiping the lens, please wait for the alcohol
to be completely volatilized before installation.
7. It is strictly prohibited to place any irrelevant items with reflection or diffuse objects around the
equipment in case of laser reflection to the human body or flammable items.
8. During the working process, there must be a person waiting on duty, especially during the pro-
cess of high power cutting or carving organic ingredients higher material, in order to avoid unexpec-
ted danger or fire. Do not operate without training or violates operation. In this case, we will not
take responsibility for any done damage.
9. As this kind of laser is invisible, pay attention to safety when working. Equipment is strictly prohi-
bited to be placed near inflammable or explosive items in case of laser deviation of fires.
10. When the machine is working or debugging the light path, please be sure to pay attention not to
have any body part in the transfer area of the light path to avoid damage. Wear protective glasses
when adjusting the light path and adjust to the smaller current in order to avoid laser deviation of
fires.
11. The power supply voltage: Voltage fluctuations will lead to unstable equipment. High voltage
power supply can cause permanent damage to the device. To avoid the damage of equipment and
electric circuit caused by voltage fluctuation and ensure the stability of the machine, we suggest
users install a voltage stabilizer that is at least 5000 W. For users whose voltage is quite unstable,
be sure to install a regulator.
12. Please cut off the power supply immediately if the machine malfunctions or is on fire.
13. When the relative humidity of the environment is more than 80%, do not work with the machine.
Otherwise, it will affect the lifetime of the machinery or damage electronic circuits.
14. When there is thunder and/or lightning, do not operate the machine.
The user must strictly abide by the above rules. Otherwise, the manufacturer shall not be responsi-
ble for any injury or damage.

FM30/fm50 Quick Start Guide
Because of the working environment, the optical lens may have been polluted after being used
for a period of time. If it is not maintained regularly, the dust will corrode the lens with coating.
The lens that is damaged by coating cannot reflect light and let the light go through the laser. It
will instead absorb laser heat, affecting the effect of marking and causing the lens to crack
easier. When cleaning the lens, use lens paper or absorbent cotton with medical alcohol rotary
cleaning along the central to the brink of the lens. Note! Do not use a coarse material wipe or
touch the lenses with your hands.
