Switchoffthecameraandremovethebatteriesifthecamerahasbeen
droppedorthehousingisdamaged.Otherwisedangeroffireandelectrocution.
Thecameramaynotbedismantled,modifiedorrepaired.Dangeroffire
andelectrocution.
Onlyuseapoweradaptor(notsupplied)withthemainsvoltagespecifiedon
theratingplate(6V).Otherwisedangeroffireorelectrocution.Disconnectthe
powerbypullingthepoweradaptoroutofthesocket.
Apluggedinpoweradaptor(notsupplied)cancontinuetousepowerandthe
reforerepresentsahazardsource.
Thepowersupplymaynotbeusedduringthunderstorms.Otherwisedanger

DAMAGEFROMHEAT-FIREHAZARD
Donotleavethecamerainplacesthataresusceptibletoconsiderablein
creasesintemperature(e.g.avehicle).Thehousingandinternalparts
maybedamaged,whichinturncouldcauseafire.
Donotwrapupcameraorplaceontextiles.Thiscouldproduceabuild
upofheatinthecamerathatcancausedeformationofthehousingand
mayrepresentafirehazard.
INJURIESANDMATERIALDAMAGE
Onlyplacethecameraonsturdysurfaces.Thecameracouldotherwise
fallortoppleover,causingdamageorinjury.
Donotoperatethecamerawhilstrunningordriving.Youcouldfallor
causeatrafficaccident.
Onlyuseamainsadaptor(notsupplied)forthecamera,havingthein
putvoltagespecifiedontheratingplate(6V).Wedonotacceptany
liabilityfordamagecausedbytheuseofanincorrectmainsadaptor.
The230Vsocketusedforthemainsadaptor(notsupplied)mustnotbe
coveredandaccessibleatalltimessothatthemainsadaptorcanbe
quicklydisconnectedfromthemains,whenrequired.
Ensureadequateventilationanddonotcoverthemainsadaptor
(notsupplied)toavoidoverheating.
Donotplaceanyopenignitionsources,suchaslitcandlesontoor
closetothedevice.
DonotsubjecttheLCDmonitortoimpactorpressure.Thiscould
damagetheglassofthemonitorortheliquidcouldleakfromtheinside.
Incaseofcontactwitheyesorskin,rinseimmediatelywithclearwater.
Incaseofcontactwitheyescontactadoctorimmediately.
Damagetotheelectronics,themonitororthelenscausedbyexternal

4.INTRODUCTION
TheT80Cameraisawildlifeandsurveillancecamerawitha3zoneinfrared
sensor.Thesensorcandetectsuddenchangestotheambienttemperature
withinanevaluationarea.Thesignalsofthehighlysensitiveinfraredsensor
(PIR,passiveinfraredsensor)switchonthecamera,activatingpictureor
videomode.

Theuniquesensordesignoffersa120°widerangleofdetectionand
improvestheresponsetimeofthecamera.
Duringday,sharpandclearcolorimagesandduringnighttimeclearblack
andwhiteimages.
Impressivelyquickshutterreleasetime(0.3seconds).
SpraywaterprotectedaccordingtostandardIP66.
Lockableandpasswordprotection.
Date,time,temperatureandmoonphasecanbedisplayedontheimages.

6.1.Openingandclosingthecamera
Operatingbuttons,connectionsandbatteriesarelocatedinsidethe
WildlifeCamera.
Afixingforapadlockisprovidedbetweenthetwolockingbrackets,
allowingthecameratobesecurelylocked.

6.2.Insertingthebatteries
Openthecameraasdescribedinsection6.1toinsertthebatteries.Thebattery
compartmentishousedintheright,rearpartofthecamera.Nowopenthe
protectivecoverofthebatterycompartmentbypullingtheclampingclosureat
thetopslightlyinwardsbeforeliftingoffthecover.
Firstremoveanyexistingbatteriesfromthebatterycompartment.Insert8
fullychargebatteriesasshowninthebelowfigure.Wheninsertigbatteries
ensurecorrectpositionasmarkedforeachbatteryinthebatterycompartment.
Note:
Werecommendusing8xalkalineAAbatteriestoensurethecamera's
normalfunction.
Analarmissoundedifbatterychargeistoolow.

6.3.Insertingthememorycard
Amemorycardmusthavebeeninsertedinordertosavephotosandvideos.
InsertaSD/SDHCmemorycardinthememorycardcompartmentbefore
switchingonthecamera.
Switchoffthecameraandopenasdescribedinsection6.1.
Priortoinsertingthememorycardensurethatthelateralwriteprotectionon
thememorycardhasnotbeenactivated(seefigure).
Ifthecameradisplays"Cardprotected",removethememorycardandchange
thepositionofthememoryprotection.
Insertthememorycardasshownintheadjacentillustration.Pushthe
memorycardintocompartmentuntilitclicksintoplace.
Toremovethememorycardpushcardinagainuntilitispartlyejected.
Note:
SD/SDHCmemorycardsuptoacapacityof32GBaresupported.

(internalpisitivepole,externalnegativepole).
6.5.Assemblywithstrap
UsethesecuringstrapsuppliedtoattachtheWildlifeCameratoatreeor
anotherobject.Theillustrationsbelowdemonstratehowtofastenthe
securingstrap.
PositiontheWildlifeCameraasdesiredandpullthelooseendofthesecuring
straptightuntilthecameraisfirmlysecured.
Toreleasethesecuringstrapagain,pullatthetabofthesecuringstrap.

7.USINGTHECAMERA
7.1.Modeswitch
Priortosettingupthecameraforsurveillance,itmustbesetupforthe
respectivepurpose.Forthispurpose,thereisasetupmodeavailable.In
additiontochangingsettings,photosandvideoscanbetakenandexisting
photoscanbeviewedinthismode.
Openthecameraasdescribedinsection6.1.TheModeswitchislocatedat
thebottomedgeontheleftinside.3operatingmodescanbeselected:
OFF:Thecameraiscompletelyswitched
offintheOFFmode.
SelectSETUPmodetoadjustSETUP:
settingsandmakeorplaybackphotosandvideos.
ThecameraisactivatedtotakephotosON:
automatically(Livemode).
7.2.Operatingbuttons
SetthemodeswitchtoSETUPandthecameraandmonitorareswitchedon.
Usingtheoperatingbuttonsdifferentfunctionscannowbeactivatedand

ClosetheMainmenuoranysubmenubypressingtheMENUbutton.
Moveuponemenupointorincrementvalueby1.
Movedownonemenupointordecreasevalueby1.
Moveforwardlytothedatasetting.
Movebackwardlytothedatasetting.
Openselectedoptionsoracceptselectedsettings.
ConfirmeachchangetoasettingbypressingOK.Ifthechangeisnot
confirmedbypressingtheOKbutton,thenewsettingarelostwhen
leavingthemenu.

7.3.Settings
PriortousingtheT80Camera,changethesettingsasrequired.Slidethemodeswitchofthe
T80CameratotheSETUPpositiontostartthesetupmode.InthePhotoorVideomode
presstheMENUbuttontocallupthemenu.AllmenuoptionsoftheT80Cameraand
possiblesettingvaluesfortherecordingmodearelistedbelow.Thestandardsettingis
alwayshighlightedinbold.

Mode:Photo,Video,Photo+VideoSelectwhetherphotosorvideosshould
betakenwhenmotionisdetected.Wheninthe"Photo+Video"mode,the
camerafirsttakesasetnumberofphotospriortorecordingavideo.
Defaulted30seconds,optionalfrom5seconds~60minutesPIRInterval:
Selecttheshorsetupperiodforthecameratowaitbeforeitreactstothe
successivetriggeringofthemainsensorafterananimalhasfirstbeen
detected.Thecameradoesnotrecordanyimagesorvideosduringthe
selectedinterval.Thispreventsthememorycardfrombeingfilledwith
unnecessaryshots.
Note:
Theintervaltimeisshort,thecamerashootingfrequencywouldbehigh,
andtherewouldbehighconsumptionofbatteries.Itwouldeffectthe
usagedaysofthebatteries.Itisjustontheopposite,theintervaltimeis
long,wouldbealowerconsumptionofbatteriestoguaranteealong
timeusage.
PIRSensitivity:High/Medium/Low
Off/OnWhen“ on”hasbeenTimelapse:
selected,thecamerawouldautomaticallytakesphotosintheselectedtime
interval,irrespectiveofwhetherornotthePIRsensorhasdetectedamotion
ornot.Thisisusefulforobservingcoldbloodedanimalse.g.snakesorplan
tsopeningup,etc.Assoonasthe"On"settinghasbeenconfirmedby
pressingtheOKbutton,youcanentertheintervaltimeafterwhichphotos
aretobetaken.
Note:
Inthismode,thePIRfunctionwouldstopworking,andthecamerawould
takephotosinthesettingintervaltime.

Off/OnSettimerto"On"ifcamerashouldonlybeactiveMonitoringPeriod:
withinacertaintime.Once"On"hasbeenconfirmedwiththeOKbutton,
thestartandendtimecanbeset.Ifthestarttimeis,forinstancesetto
18:35hrsandtheendtimeto8:25hrs,thecamerawillbeoperationalfrom
6:35pmofthecurrentdayuntil8:25amofthefollowingday.Thecamera
willnotbetriggeredandwillnottakeanyphotosorvideosoutside
ofthisperiod.
Off/OnThetwosidePIRsensorzonesprovideawideSidePIRSetup:
detectionangleanddetectmorepotentialtriggers.Sometimesyouonly
wishtoobserveacertainpoint.Toomanyirrelevanttriggersfromtheside
sensorzonesoutsideofthispointcontinuouslyswitchthecameraonand
off,considerablyaffectingbatterylife.Insomesituationsitmaybedifficult
toremoveinterferingbranchesoravoidsunlight.Inthesesituationsyou
canswitchoffthesidesensorzones.
