1 Introduction
This digital DVB recorder take place of traditional Video recorder。It can be connected to
your PC, upload video or image, download AVI, MPEG1, MPEG2, JPEG, BMP, MP3
multimedia files. Has connector for SD card and USB, and can extend to connect hard dis.
Main function:
1. Watching digital TV/AV through this box(*1)；
2. Record and timer function(*1)；
3. Play back；
4. Storage device selectable: external USB flash / SD/MMC / hard disk included(*2)；
5. To PC, upload recorded file to PC. Or download AVI supported video/image/MP3
music file to play on this device(*3)；
6. To connect external storage device/SD/MMC；
7. With internal Hard disk, can make time shift. (*2)；
8. VGA output，can connect to PC directly to enjoy the video(*4)；

Remark:
(*1) some model without digital TV；
(*2) This model without HDD included，no this function；
(*3) some media need tools to transfer and than can play；
(*4) output 720x480 or 720x576 VGA signal。

Blue = context button on bottom of screen
Numbers = numbers or letters in text entry areas. The numbers work like a cell phone. The
letters for each number are below the number on the remote.

3.1 Play file
Supporting Movie, Music, JPG file playing and edit, when the selected file (not including
JPG) is highlighted, press EDIT button on remote control, it will pop up a edit menu, here can
configure format of playing, rename and delete.

Play
In Play file menu, select “ movie”, and press ENTER & PLAY, the selected file will be
played, now if press DISPLAY on remote control, there will be a pop up menu to
display some information like destination of the file, playing mode, playing time etc.
In “Music/Picture” , selecting one file and press ENTER & PLAY, the selected file will
be played, there will be information like file destination, playing mode and playing
time displayed on left.

Edit
1．Menu for edit：
When one file is selected, press EDIT on remote control, there will pop up an
EDIT menu, select “ PLAY MODE” to setup the repeat playing mode of the file;
select” RENAME” to activate the “ TEXT INPUT” menu to rename the selected
file; select “ DELETE” to delete the selected file, before deleting, there will be a
warning message need end user to double confirm.

2．Play
Can be played in order, file played repeatedly, cache played repeatedly.

3．RENAME：
Can input name by letter 12 max, English letter capital, number and PC supported
also, and normal symbol input supported.
4．DELETE：
Can delete selected file, before deleting, there will be a warning message to ask for
double confirm.

3.2 Format
To format internal and external store, clear up disk.
Format will clear up data in USB/CARD/HDD，and reset up FAT file system.
Press “ENTER” you will see the following dialog box. Then press “ENTER” again to
choose “YES” or “NO”

After execution, there will be another menu pop up, the format time will be different
depend on the data storage in the device, don’t remove the USB/CARD/HDD at this time,
neither cut power off, otherwise system will not be able to identify USB/CARD/HDD device,
unless to reformat the device by PC.

After format, you will see the following dialog box.
3.3 AV signal
Selet AV signal and press ok, will switch to the A/V in source
3.4 Timer Record
Timer record can record the TV or AV IN signal to HDD/USB/CARD by AVI format, here
can select signal source, destination, date, mode, start time, end time, and quality.

Turn on/off Screen Saver；Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move bouquet on the item you Want, then
press “ENTER”. “RETURN” button for exit.

Time Format

Date
Setup system Year/month/date: Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move bouquet on the item
you Want, then press numeric button to input Year/month/date 。
Timer
Setup system hh:mm、AM/PM；Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move bouquet on the item you
want. Press numeric button to iput hh:mm. Press [↑] [↓] to shift AM/PM.

Choose analog signals format: Set time format: Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move
bouquet on the item you want, then press “ENTER”. “RETURN” button for exit.

Auto Serch
Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move bouquet on“Auto Serch”, then press “ENTER”.

Press [↑] [↓]to move bouquet to the first item on the left, then press [→] [←] to move
bouquet optional setup PAL、SECAM L、SECAM L’（NTSC）；press [↑] [↓] to put
bouquet on the second item ，press [→] [←] to choose I、BG、DK audio format，；
press [↑] [↓] to the third item on the left. Press “ENTER”, begin auto Tuning.
Channel
Press [→] [←] [↑] [↓] to move bouquet to“channel set”, then
press “ENTER”
