Important Safety Instructions
Read these instructions, keep these instructions, heed all warnings, follow
all instructions.
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to
which the receiver is connected.
-Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for Help.
The device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits
for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection Against harmful
interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio

Set-Up Mount & Power On
Step One
Insert the adhesive suction cup mount into the bracket on the
back of the INTELLIDASH PRO and slide it up to lock it in place.
Remove the protective film from the adhesive suction cup on the
bottom of the mount. Then press the suction cup onto your dash-
board and push the lock down to secure it in place. Adjust the
INTELLIDASH PRO’s angle and height so that it does not block
your view of the road, and tighten the knob to secure it in place.

If you find your INTELLIDASH PRO is rattling and/or coming
into contact with your dashboard, use the Shock Absorbing Gel
Strip to protect your INTELLIDASH PRO and dashboard. Just
remove the plastic film from both sides, and place it on the bot-
tom of your INTELLIDASH PRO, or on the dashboard directly
below it.

Step Four
Connect one end of the supplied power cable to the DC 12V
power port of the device.
You can secure your cable between the edge of the windshield
and the dashboard to ensure that it does not become tangled.
Plug the adapter end of the power cable into your car’s DC 12V
power outlet. INTELLIDASH PRO will automatically power on
when your car is powered on, and will power off when your car
is powered off.

• Ensure that the INTELLIDASH PRO is mounted in a place
that does not block your view of the road.
• The INTELLIDASH PRO has built-in speakers. However,
to play music over your car radio please ensure that the
FM Transmitter function has been set up and is connected
properly with your car radio. (See Page 18)
• Some Android operating versions may not be compatible
with the Android Auto app. As such, we strongly recom-
mend updating your phone’s operating system to the latest
version.
• Ensure that you are using the power cable provided with
the purchase of your phone (or compatible cable) to con-
nect the INTELLIDASH PRO and your phone.
• Apps displayed on the INTELLIDASH PRO (when pairing
with either the CarPlay or Android Auto app) will vary de-
pending on the apps available on the connected phone.
• The INTELLIDASH PRO does not support it’s own GPS.
All Navigation app’s are functionally dependent on the
connected phone.

In the CarPlay main menu, you’ll see all CarPlay compatible
apps. Apps displayed on the INTELLIDASH PRO will vary de-
pending on the apps of the connected phone.
NOTE: Audio and music apps can be used simultaneously with
Waze or Maps.
Apple CarPlay
Connect your INTELLIDASH PRO to your iPhone using the Type
C - Lighting cable (Refer to the “Connect it” guide for detailed
connection instructions.). The CarPlay main menu will launch,
allowing your phone to access the following features and more.
Siri SMS Messages Apple Music, Spotify, etc.

Android Auto
Connect your INTELLIDASH PRO to your Android smartphone
using Type C -Type C/Micro USB cable (Refer to the “Connect
it” guide for detailed connection instructions.). The Android
Auto app will launch, allowing your phone to access the follow-
ing features and more.

In the Android Auto main menu, you’ll see all compatible apps.
Apps displayed on the INTELLIDASH PRO will vary depending
on the apps of the connected phone.
NOTE: Audio and music apps can be used simultaneously with

Important: Ensure that your phone’s operating system has been
updated to the latest version. This is necessary as some older
Android versions may not be fully compatible with the Android
Auto.
Tap at the bottom of the screen to return to Android Auto

iOS Mirror
Android Link
iOS Mirror is supported on most iPhones. iOS Mirror can mirror
your iPhone screen to the INTELLIDASH PRO display.
Before using iOS Mirror, configure settings in the INTELLIDASH
PRO. On the home screen, tap Settings and , and tap
the < / >icon next to iOS to change from CarPlay to iOS Mirror.
NOTE: Refer to the “Connect it” guide for detailed connection
instructions.
Android Link is supported on most Android phones. Android
Link can mirror your screen to the INTELLIDASH PRO display.
Before using Android Mirror, configure settings in the INTELL-
IDASH PRO. On the home screen, tap Settings and ,
and tap the < / >icon next to Android to change from Android
Auto to Android Link.
NOTE: Refer to the “Connect it” guide for detailed connection
instructions.

Bluetooth Phone
Before using this feature, make sure you have synced your con-
tact list with the INTELLIDASH PRO: Tap near the DU1000
in your phone’s Bluetooth settings, and turn Sync Contacts on.
Dial Pad: The Dial Pad can be used to make calls from your
paired phone using the INTELLIDASH PRO.
Contact List: The Contact List can be used to search through
your paired phone’s available contacts to call them using the
INTELLIDASH PRO.
The Bluetooth Phone allows you to pair your phone to your
INTELLIDASH PRO (Refer to the “Connect it” guide for detailed
connection instructions.), so you can make and receive calls, send
messages and more, all without using CarPlay/Android Auto.

The Bluetooth Phone allows you to pair your phone to your
INTELLIDASH PRO (Refer to the “Connect it” guide for detailed
connection instructions.), so you can play your phone’s music
on the INTELLIDASH PRO without using CarPlay/Android Auto.
Call History: The Call History can be used to search through
and call back your recent incoming and outgoing calls.
Bluetooth Connection Settings: View the current connection
status and turn on/off Auto Answer and Auto Connect mode
for your phone.

USB Media
You can play audio/video files or view images from a compati-
ble USB drive by inserting the USB drive into the INTELLIDASH
PRO’s USB Port. Then tap the USB icon on the home screen to
start the audio/video playback.
Supported audio formats: MP3/WMA/AAC/AC3/OGG/Real
Audio/FLAG/APE.
Supported video formats: AVI/RMVB/MPEG/RM/MKV/MOV/
MP4/WMV/FLV.
Supported image formats: JPEG/JPG/PNG
Note: Featured information, including album cover and song
name, may vary depending on the files hosted on the USB drive.

The FM transmitter allows you to broadcast music from your
phone to your car speakers via the radio. To do this, turn the
transmitter on, then tune both your car radio and the INTELLI-
DASH PRO to the unused blank frequency.
Note: If sound does not immediately stream from your phone
to the cars speaker press to navigate back to the home
screen, and press Play on the home screen.
You can save up to six preset radio frequencies by adjusting
the “Current Frequency” to the channel you want to save and
pressing and holding any of the “Frequency Presets.”
Note: You may need to switch between USA1 and USA2 in the
Settings to find a clear frequency.

Built-In Speaker
Settings
TO USE THE BUILT-IN SPEAKER ON YOUR INTELLIDASH PRO,
YOU MUST TURN OFF THE FM TRANSMITTER.
You can adjust a wide variety of the INTELLIDASH PRO’s set-
tings including brightness, language, date/time and more.
1. Basic settings
On the home screen, tap > to enter basic settings,
and tap the icons on the left to set system language, date and
time, FM transmitter region and Link type.
