Locate UPPER television VESA holes and
mount though center hole with machine
screws.

Fit cables from back of television to
furniture or to wall. Mark needed hole
location.

FOR SECURING HEAVY FURNITURE AND TELEVISIONS TO KEEP FROM TIPPING AND FALLING.
NOTE: VESA mount, is a family of standards defined
by the Video Electronics Standards Association for
mounting flat panel TVs to stands or wall mounts.
NEVER DRILL HOLES INTO THE TV.
YOU WILL NEED:

Mount bottom plates of anti-tip straps to
furniture or to wall in the two outside holes
using wood screws.

STUD
Never place TVs
on an unstable
stand. Stands
that are not
stable should
have an
additional set of
straps to secure
the stand to the
wall. When
anchoring to the
wall, the center
of a wall stud is
where the plates
should be
mounted. Always
drill a pilot hole
before using
wood screws.

Tighten and eliminate slack in cables.

part towards
plate and pull
metallic strap
towards you.

Drill pilot hole into rear of furniture into
a solid portion of the wood structure.
Mount upper straps with wood screws.

Fit cables from back of furniture to
to wall. Mark needed hole location.
STUD
When anchoring
to the wall, the
center of a wall
stud is where the
plates should be
mounted. Always
drill a pilot hole
before using
wood screws. 4X

Mount bottom plates of anti-tip straps to
to wall in the two outside holes, first drilling pilot
holes and then using wood screws.
