Setting up your bike
Introduction
The model CAROL Bike 2.0 is designed to be
used for indoor use as a high intensity trainer in
corporate oces, the home, and in tness studios
and health clubs, as a stand-alone exercise bike
and/or in group cycle classes. The bike is controlled
by the software on the tablet computer.
The bike incorporates a free wheel belt drive to the

software’s control.
The ywheel is locked while the bike is idle. The
ywheel will be released once a user signs in. A
complete visual inspection and test of the features
and functions of CAROL Bike 2.0 must be made
prior to use.
Installation
It is impoant that CAROL Bike 2.0 is correctly
assembled, and we recommend that suitably
qualied personnel carry out installation and
assembly. The bike has a footprint of 137cm x
53cm. Take care to ensure a minimum of 60cm
free area beside the bike to access the bike. If
installing more than one bike side by side, the bikes
can be no closer than 60cm if they are to share
the area.
Feet adjustment
CAROL Bike 2.0 should only operate on a level
suace. There are height adjustment pads
located on either side underneath both the
front and rear stabilizers. Just turn the rubber
pad anticlockwise to increase the height and
clockwise to reduce the height. Take a lile time
to adjust the feet and ensure the bike is rmly
siing on the oor and is stable.
Handlebar and
seat adjustment
The handlebar and seat should be set at the height
correct for your body. This ensures minimum strain
on your knees and back and allows a greater ride,
comfo and peormance. Ask your instructor or
contact CAROL Customer Suppo for assistance
if needed.
Bike storage
If storing the bike for any period, shut down the
tablet, pressing the power buon and pressing the
‘Power o’ buon on screen. Unplug the power

Quick release
lever for
seat height
adjustment
Never raise the
seat height
above the STOP
line
Adjusting
the seat height
Step 1
Set the seat height by loosening the quick
release lever located at the back of the seat
post and sliding the seat post to the desired
height.
Step 2
We suggest that you set the height of the
saddle to be parallel with the top of your hip
bone.
This mimics your sprinting position and
allows maximum power. Although this is our
recommendation, do experiment with this
position until you nd what is most comfoable
for you.
Step 3
Lock your chosen position by rmly turning
the lever clockwise. Make sure it is securely
tightened and that there is no lateral or veical
movement of the post.
Step 4
Once seated your leg should have a slight bend
in knee with the pedal at the boom of the
downstroke.
Note:
There is a safety line engraved on the seat post
and handlebar stem. Never raise the seat post or
handlebar stem above this line.
