Important safety instructions
Exercise with caution when using your G2300 camera.
Always be aware of your surroundings and avoid injury to yourself and others.
Apply the following precautions with your camera to avoid fire or explosion:
•DO NOT try to open, puncture, disassemble drop, crush, bend, deform, microwave,
incinerate, paint the camera or any other activity not listed in this Instruction Guide.
•DO NOT insert any foreign objects into any opening on the camera, e.g. USB port.
•DO NOT use for any reason the camera if it has been damaged e.g. affected by
water, cracked, or deformed.
•DO NOT Disassemble or puncture the integrated camera’s battery, since this can
cause an explosion or fire.
•DO NOT dry the camera with an active heat source such as a hair dryer, microwave
oven or oven.
•DO NOT place direct flame sources, such as gas flames or lighted candles near the
camera.
•DO NOT handle the camera charger or the USB cable plugs with wet hands.
•During charging, place it in a well ventilated location, away from heat sources.
Failure to comply with these precautions can result in electric shock.
Only use chargers marked: Output 5V with 1A up 2.1A.
If you are not familiar with the charger’s specifications (voltage and current), use the
supplied USB cable to charge the camera from your computer.
DO NOT place the Camera in close proximity to strong magnetic forces and keep distance
from objects that transmit strong radio-waves. Avoiding this precaution, may result in a
faulty or degraded camera performance.
DO NOT place the Camera close to high temperature source or subjected to direct sunlight.

This Camera is perfect for capturing all those important actions events and memorable moments in
clear Full HD with 155° wide angle lens.

Getting started
Insert the Micro SD memory card
Insert the Micro SD memory card 4GB up to 32GB class 10 (not included)
to the SD card socket on the camera as shown in the image.
Use flat item like a credit card to insert the memory card.
Battery charging
Connect the supplied USB cable to the camera.
(Micro USB connector) and plug the USB end to a USB charger or Computer.
Remark:
Connecting the camera to a computer USB port enables only charging and
file coping.
Charging status:
Flashing Power LED –charging the battery
Steady Power LED –the battery is fully charged
Charging time for a new battery is 2-3 hours (depends on the charger)
Turning-on/off the G2300 camera
Note:
If charged from a Computer USB port, you must disconnect the camera from the computer in
order to turn it on
ON- Press on the Power button for 2-3 seconds and the Power led will turn on
OFF- Press on the Power button for 2-3 seconds and the Power led will turn off

Configuring the camera’s options via WiFi and App
With this application you will customize the camera’s settings
1. Download the following Application “Sports DV” from your Application store
(Apple iOS or Android)
or use QR read Application on your device to find the Application on your store
2. Turn on the camera
3. Turn on the camera’s Wi-Fi
i. Click on the Mode button for 3 seconds
ii. verify that green Wi-Fi indicator is on
4. from your device, connect to the following Wi-Fi network that starts with
SQ23_…(like SQ23_D0EE) (can be changed later)
5. Type the following password: 12345678 (can be changed later)
6. On your device, run the Sports DV Application
7. Verify that you are connected , your device will display this screen:
i. If you encounter a connection issue:
check the Troubleshooting Chapter
App does not reconnect to the camera

Setting the Wireless Network (Wi-Fi)
WifiName
The default camera’s wifi name is SQ23 it is recommended to change the wifi name
Click wifiName
Type the new wifi name (eg. abc)

Click OK (Green V)
Do not change the Wi-Fi password at this time
Turn off the camera
Turn on the camera
Click on Mode for 3 second
Wi-Fi is on with the new name:
Password
To change the Wi-Fi password click on Password
Type the new password (must be 8 characters)
Click OK (Green V)
Turn off the camera
Turn on the camera
Click on Mode for 3 second
Connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi with the new password

Operating the Camera with a Memory Card
Press Power button to turn on the camera - constant Red light indicates that the camera is in
standby status
Note:
Depending on the Auto Power Off settings configured, if no action taken during standby,
the camera will automatically turn off
Taking a photo
From standby status, Shortly press the Power button
Blue light flash once
Picture taken and saved
Camera retunes to standby status
Recording a Video Start/Stop
Start Recording
From standby status, Shortly press (1sec) the Mode button
Blue light starts flashing
Starting Video recording
For loop recording –continue recording as required
Stop Recording
Shortly press (1sec) the Mode button
Camera retunes to standby status
Recording a Video with Infrared Night Vision Start/Stop
Start Recording
From standby status, Shortly press (1sec) the Mode button
Blue light starts flashing
Starting regular Video recording
For the second time, Shortly press (1sec) the Mode button
A constant Yellow light turns on
Starting Infrared Night Vision Video recording
For loop recording –continue recording as required

Long press (3sec) the Mode button
Blue light starts flashing
Continue with regular Video recording
Stop Infrared Night Vision Recording
Shortly (1sec) press the Mode button
Camera retunes to standby status

Please note: the Wi-Fi range up to 50ft.
Connecting your Device to the G2300 Camera
1. Turning-on the G2300 camera
Press on the Power button for 2-3 seconds and the Power led will turn on
2. Turn on the Wi-Fi
Click on the Mode button for 3 seconds
Verify that green Wi-Fi indicator is on
3. Connect to the camera’s Wi-Fi
from your device, connect to the camera’s wifi as you have configured in the getting started
section of this guide
4. Type the Wi-Fi password
Type the Wi-Fi password as you have configured in
the getting started section of this guide

5. Run the Camera’s App
On your device, run the Sports DV Application
6. Wait for the connection to complete (V on the screen - as shown in this snapshot)
7. Click PLAY to start monitoring

Getting to know the Sport DV App PLAY Screen and Commands
Clicking PLAY on the App will open the following screen: 5 icons to the left and 5 icons to the right
Left Screen Icons
1. Return to Start Screen
•Tap on the Return icon to return to start screen
2. Device side commands
3. Take a photo, save on device
4. Record Video, save on device
5. View saved Photos and Videos on Device
Right Screen Icons
1. Camera’s Battery status
•Icon displays battery & charging status
2. Camera’s TF Memory Card side commands
3. Take a photo, save on Camera
4. Record Video save on Camera
5. View saved Photos and Videos on Camera TF Memory Card
Monitoring, Taking Photos & Recording with the “Sports DV” App
Note: in order to monitor, record video and take photos, the Sports DV App must be on all the
session, hence if you will switch to another app on your device the recording will be terminated.
For Loop recording start the recording procedure directly on the camera as described on the first
page of “Operating the Camera with a Memory Card” chapter
Monitoring
Clicking PLAY will automatically start the monitoring session.
Screen command menu will be displayed on both sides of the screen.
For full screen monitoring, tap on the screen once and the commands menu will slide out of the
screen
To redisplay the commands menu, tap the screen once

Tap on the Camera icon and the image will be captured and saved on the Camera’s memory card
