Centralized controller function
1. This controller can control VRF system, single split and supermatch (or multi) , etc.,
Connecting to VRF can control up to 800 indoor units, and connecting single split and
Supermatch (or Multi) can control up to 256 indoor units
①When controlling the VRF system, it needs to be used in conjunction with the
converter "40VCCX17FQEE". Each system is equipped with one "40VCCX17FQEE",
and then the "40VCCX17FQEE" is connected to the centralized controller
40VCC727FQEE hand in hand.
Automatic search of the indoor units, when retrieving single split units and
supermatch units (or multi units), the parameters of the outdoor unit are not
displayed.
②It needs to be used in conjunction with the 40VCAR17FQEE converter when
controlling single split model. Each indoor unit is equipped with a 40VCAR17FQEE,
and all the 40VCAR17FQEEs are connected to the centralized controller
40VCC727FQEE hand in hand.
③It needs to be used in conjunction with the 40VCAR17FQEE converter when
controlling super match(or multi) model. Each indoor unit is equipped with a
40VCAR17FQEE, and all the 40VCAR17FQEEs are connected to the centralized
controller 40VCC727FQEE hand in hand.
2. Main functions of centralized controller：
2.1 Monitor the operating status of the indoor unit's ON/OFF, operating mode, wind
speed, temperature setting, central control mode, swing angle setting, and fault
alarms, etc. Support multiple viewing and operation modes such as icons, lists, and
floor navigation. Support batch delivery of indoor unit settings.

2.2 Zone management. The equipment can be divided into three levels: building -
floor - zone. Support zone creation, edit, delete and other functions.
2.3 Achieve the setting of ON/OFF, mode, wind speed, temperature setting,
centralized control mode, and swing angle of all indoor units in individual
control/zone control /all control/custom groups control mode.
2.4 Check the room temperature, coil temperature, failure code, air quality parameters,
carbon dioxide concentration, formaldehyde concentration, TVOC and other
parameters of the indoor unit (if the indoor unit has corresponding sensors)
2. 5 For VRF system, it can set three control modes of indoor unit: LIFO, CENTRAL, and
LOCK mode. For Supermatch units , it can set two modes: LIFO and LOCK.
LIFO：All controllers can control the air-conditioned indoor unit.
Central：The centralized controller has all permissions, wired controller or remote
controller can only control the indoor units on and off, and cannot perform other
controls.
Lock：The centralized controller has all permissions, wired controller or remote
controller cannot control the indoor units.
2.6 Receive external signal input, can be configured with two fire signals, can set the
"NO/NC" alarm. When the fire alarm signal is received, the controller automatically
shuts down all equipment.
2.7 Schedule function, can set the weekly timing function, support "cycle", "working
day + weekend" and other control, can set multiple timing program, so that the
system according to the set schedule automatically execute the ON/OFF setting, wind
speed setting, temperature setting and mode setting.
Exception day schedule function, can set the special schedule up to the specified date.
If the exception day schedule is set to be executed, only the exception day schedule
will be executed on that day, and other schedules of that day will be interrupted. It is
convenient for users to set the needs of special arrangements such as holidays
2.8 Account management and role authorization functions, supporting the setting of
multiple accounts and roles. Realize the need to manage the same device without
user login.
2.9 Floor navigation function, can import the map, and set up the indoor units on the
map, convenient for the monitoring and management of the internal machine

2.10 Energy-saving setting function: the lower limit of cooling temperature and upper
limit of heating temperature of any indoor unit can be set to achieve energy-saving
effect. Energy consumption can also be reduced by limiting the operating capacity of
outdoor units.
2.11 Alarm management and setting function, supporting the functions of checking
and exporting units’failure. It can also set to realize automatic sending of mail,
pop-up window, beeping and other alarm prompts when there’s alarm
2.12 Supports the threshold alarm management and setting function, which supports
the threshold alarm function of setting any parameter. As a supplement to the
common fault alarm, it can also set the alarm prompt to automatically send emails,
pop Windows, beeping and other alarm prompts
2.13 Equipment linkage function, supporting the setting of AHU/HRV binding linkage
indoor unit, and realizing the linkage of any indoor unit turn on/any indoor unit turn
off/all indoor unit on/off mode in the set area. Realize the function of automatic
switch of AHU and HRV.
2.14 Daylight saving time function, which supports the setting of daylight saving time
and automatically adjusts the amplitude according to daylight saving time. After the
adjustment of daylight saving time, the schedule will be adjusted automatically. There
is no need to reset the daylight Saving time schedule.
2.15 Timing task function, which allows non-administrator users to set the timing task
to be executed once, and to set the switching machine, temperature, wind speed and
mode of a single indoor unit/indoor units in the zone/all indoor units at a specified
time.
2.16 Third-party device management function, supporting the access of third-party
devices controlled by I/O through Carrier gateway, such as lighting, fans, curtains, etc.

2.17 Network setting function, supporting local network setting, WiFi access and LAN
access.
2.18 The history and logging function records the operation of the device and the
operation of the user. The administrator can query or export the information. To

2.19 Device data backup and recovery function: The configuration of the current
system can be backed up by the external USB flash disk, or the configuration files that
have been exported can be restored to the device.

Gateway address setting
For the units connected to centralized controller, it is required to use indoor units’dip switch
or address setting remote controller to set the indoor units address, which is convenient for
inspection and maintenance.
Control VRF models
For every system of VRF, address starts from No.1 to last indoor unit of the system. If totally
20 indoor units are connect in one system, address should be 1-20. If there are 50 indoor
units in one system, address should be 1-50. The maximum indoor unit address cannot
exceed 64
Note: The indoor unit address setting of each VRF system starts from 1
