4.4 User interface
T e CP700BMW can be controlled like t e original CD C anger. T ere is no
visible difference in t e CDC menu in your ead unit. To start playback, go into
menu “Entertainment” or c oose “CDC” in t e main menu (depends on t e
ead unit model). T e 6 CDs correlate to t e 6 main folders on t e SD card.
4.5 Supported MP3 file formats
T e device supports only files t at are CD sampling quality. T is means t e
sampling rate must be 44,1kHz stereo. If you convert your CDs to MP3 files,
you most likely ave it in t e correct format. If you ave files from ot er
sources (youtube, itunes rip) t en it mayb be t e case t at t ese files do ave
a different sampling rate. You can easily c eck and correct t is wit our “CP-
C ecker” tool for MS Windows™. T is tool can be found on t e SD card t at
somes wit eac Cp700BMW. Alternatively you can download it from t e web
site of Cartain™.

After you ave installed t e program “CP C ecker”, insert your SD card wit all
your misuc, click on “Select drive” and select t e drive t at is your SD card
reader wit your SD card. T en click “Start C eck”. T e programm runs
t roug t e card content and converts all files to a safe and working format
automatically.
5. Operating state / indicator light
T e LED (lig t emitting diode) on t e front plate (1) s jows t e current state
of t e CP700BMW. T e LED as t ree possible color states: red, gren and
yellow/orange. T e following table lists all possible opertation states:
