1) GENERALITÀ’
Questo manuale è da considerarsi parte integrante della fornitura della forbice.
Questo manuale non può essere ceduto in visione a terzi senza autorizzazione scritta
della Ditta costruttrice. Tutti i diritti di riproduzione del presente manuale sono riservati
alla Ditta costruttrice.
1.1. Scopo del manuale
Il presente manuale raccoglie le istruzioni necessarie per un utilizzo corretto e sicuro
della forbice pneumatica “SISTEM”, di seguito definito anche come “macchina”,
realizzata da Castellari S.r.l., di Imola (BO).
Prima dell’utilizzo della macchina è importante leggere e seguire attentamente le
istruzioni riportate dal presente manuale in quanto dall’osservanza delle indicazioni
riportate, unitamente ad una corretta manutenzione, dipende il regolare funzionamento
e la durata nel tempo della macchina stessa.
NB: Il presente manuale è parte integrante della macchina, esso deve sempre
accompagnarla in ogni suo spostamento o rivendita. Se ne consiglia la conservazione in
luogo sicuro del quale devono essere informati tutti i possibili utilizzatori.
2) DESCRIZIONE
2.1. Descrizione del prodotto:
Forbice pneumatica ad una lama tagliente destinata alla potatura di piante da frutto.
La forza di taglio viene data da un cilindro pneumatico posto dentro all’impugnatura (20)
alimentato da una linea di aria compressa e azionabile da una leva (21) aderente
all’impugnatura. Sul corpo valvola (5) è posta la sicura (3). Sicura manuale da inserire
per prolungate pause di lavoro.
ATTENZIONE: Se la forbice viene utilizzata per il taglio di materiali diversi da quelli
sopra elencati può danneggiare gravemente l’attrezzo e la sicurezza della persona.

3) AVVERTENZE ANTINFORTUNISTICHE
3.1. Generalità:
Prima di operare con l'attrezzo, leggere attentamente il seguente manuale.
La Ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità per danni conseguenti ad un uso per
scopi ed in modi diversi da quelli da essa previsti (Vedi paragrafo “Descrizione del
prodotto”).
La Ditta costruttrice declina ogni responsabilità per l’uso di ricambi non originali, le
modifiche o gli interventi sull'attrezzo fatti da persone non autorizzate.
3.2. Cautele particolari:
• Controllare prima e durante le operazioni che l’uso dell'attrezzo non generi
situazioni pericolose per persone, animali o cose.
• Non utilizzare l'attrezzo quando si è in un equilibrio precario.
• Tenere la mano che non impugna l'attrezzo lontano da questo
• Non manomettere, togliere o danneggiare nessun elemento, e in particolare
quelli che garantiscono la sicurezza d’uso.
• Regolare la pressione di alimentazione al valore di 10 bar.
• Quando l'attrezzo è collegato all’aria compressa, ma non viene utilizzato,
verificare l’inserimento della sicura (3).
• Controllare sempre l’efficienza della sicura (3) sul corpo valvola (5).
• Tutte le operazioni di manutenzione dell'attrezzo, diverse da quanto riportato
nel manuale uso e manutenzione, vanno eseguite a cura di una officina
specializzata nell’assistenza.
• Prima di qualunque manutenzione inserire la sicura (3) e distaccare il tubo di
alimentazione.
ATTENZIONE: Il trasporto della forbice “SISTEM” deve essere sempre effettuato con
il tubo di alimentazione distaccato.
ATTENZIONE: Rischi dovuti all’esposizione dell’operatore alla rumorosità e o vibrazioni
della macchina o dell’attrezzo.
3.3. Livello sonoro
Livello di pressione acustica continuo equivalente ponderato A nel posto di
lavoro misurato secondo la normativa UNI EN ISO 11201:
LAeq = 76,35 dBA
3. . Livello vibrazioni
Il valore quadratico medio ponderato in frequenza dell’accelerazione trasmessa al
sistema mano-braccio al quale è esposto l’utilizzatore misurato secondo la EN ISO
5349-2:2015
Forbice Amsum = 3,92 m/s2

) FUNZIONAMENTO
.1. Comandi:
•Leva di azionamento (21): premendo leggermente, la forbice taglia.
•Al rilascio della leva di azionamento (21) inserire la sicura manualmente.
ATTENZIONE: Controllare sempre il perfetto stato di funzionamento degli elementi di
sicurezza.
.2 Collegamento alla rete:
•Verificare che la sicura (3) sia inserita.
•Regolare il compressore a 10 bar.
•Avvitare un raccordo rapido da 1 4".
•Connettere il tubo di alimentazione assicurandosi prima che sia libero da
impurità.
5) MANUTENZIONE
5.1 Generalità
Prima di qualunque manutenzione: inserire la sicura (3), togliere il tubo di
alimentazione.
ATTENZIONE: Tutte le operazioni di manutenzione della forbice, diverse da quanto
riportato nel manuale uso e manutenzione, vanno eseguite a cura di una officina
specializzata nell’assistenza.
ATTENZIONE: Avvertenza per parti aventi superfici taglienti; per intervenire munirsi di
guanti resistenti.

5.2 Manutenzione ordinaria:
Registrazione lame:
•Svitare il dado (25-26).
•Avvitare il perno (30)
Affilatura lama mobile:
•Ravvivare il filo della sola lama al bisogno con l’apposita pietra: angolo di
affilatura: 45°.
Lubrificazione:
•La forbice, con l’utilizzo del compressore, rimane lubrificata.
Pulizia lame:
•Inserire le lame (35) (fino a coprire il perno) in una miscela di 50% olio e
50% nafta a fine giornata. Si eviteranno così le incrostazioni provocate
dall’umidità del legno.
 Pulizia filtro:
•Svitare l’attacco rapido o raccordo.
•Pulire il filtro aria (4) ogni 20 ore di lavoro.
•Sostituirlo quando danneggiato.
 Pulizia valvole:
•Ogni 150 ore di lavoro pulire le valvole procedendo come segue:
 Valvola azionamento:
•togliere la protezione (31)
•togliere la leva azionamento 21);
•svitare i tappi (6) e (12) con una pinza per seeger;
•sfilare delicatamente la valvola (9);
•soffiare aria compressa su valvole e rimontare seguendo la procedura
inversa.
ATTENZIONE: Dopo ogni pulizia verificare il corretto funzionamento della sicura (3).
Non usare mai l’attrezzo senza aver rimontato la protezione o senza la sicura.
5.3 Smontaggio delle parti
Per le operazioni di manutenzione, smontare le parti come segue:
 Smontaggio protezione (31)
•togliere la spina (34) e la vite 4x5 inserita nello squadretto (32)
•forzare delicatamente con un cacciavite tra corpo e protezione.
 Smontaggio leva azionamento (11)
•forzare delicatamente con un cacciavite tra corpo e leva.
 Smontaggio gruppo valvola (5)
•smontare la protezione (31) e la leva (21);
•immorsare il gruppo valvola (5);
•svitare il corpo impugnandolo con le mani (20).

 Smontaggio della biella (16)
•tenendo le lame chiuse con una mano (indossare i guanti) infilare un
cilindretto di 20 mm di diametro tra corpo forbice (20), biella (16) e lama
(35);
•utilizzando un caccia spine togliere il rivetto (32). Il rivetto non è più
utilizzabile.
 Smontaggio delle lame (35)
•togliere il rivetto utilizzando un cacciaspine (32);
•svitare i dadi (25-26) ed il perno (30);
•svitare le viti 6x14(24).
 Smontaggio della sicura manuale (3)
•introdurre un cacciavite nella parte posteriore della sicura (3);
•fare leva e sollevare delicatamente.
6) GUASTI, CAUSE E RIMEDI
Guasti:
-L'attrezzo non funziona
1. Verificare lo stato di funzionamento del compressore.
2. Verificare la posizione della sicura (3).
3. Verificare la posizione della sicura manuale (3).
-L'attrezzo non ha forza
1. Verificare la pulizia del tubo di alimentazione.
2. Verificare la pressione del compressore.
3. Verificare che il perno lame (30) non sia troppo stretto.
-Perdite di aria
1. Sostituire le guarnizioni se danneggiate anche lievemente
2. Verificare la guarnizione (13).
Tutte queste operazioni di verifica sono da effetuarsi con la sicura inserita.

1) GENERAL INFORMATION

This manual may not be transferred or made available to third parties without the
Manufacturer’s written authorisation. The Manufacturer reserves all copyrights to this
manual.
1.1. Purpose of the manual
This manual contains the necessary instructions to correctly and safely use the
“SISTEM” pruning shears, also referred to as ‘equipment’ in this manual, manufactured
by Castellari S.r.l., di Imola (BO).
Before using the equipment, it is important to read and carefully comply with the
instructions contained in this manual, as smooth equipment operation over time
depends on compliance with the provided instructions as well as on correct
maintenance.
NB: This manual forms an integral part of the equipment and should always accompany
it if the equipment is relocated or sold. This manual should be kept at a safe location
known to all possible users.
2) DESCRIPTION
2.1. Product Description:
The pneumatic shears with a single cutting blade are specifically designed for pruning
orchards.
The air cylinder inside the handle (20) provides the cutting power required. The tool is
operated via a lever (21) on the valve body (5). A manual safety catch is provided for
safe handling during prolonged periods of inactivity.
WARNING! Do not use the shears to cut any other material as this may severely
damage the tool and endanger the operator.

3) SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
3.1. General information:
Carefully read this manual before using the tool.
The manufacturer may not be held responsible for any damage caused by improper use
of the shears. The shears must only be used only for their design purpose (see the
"Product Description" section).
Use only original spare parts. The manufacturer will not be held responsible for damage
caused by the use of non-original spare parts as well as by alteration and servicing of
the tool by unauthorized persons.
3.2. Special instructions:
• Before starting any operations and while using the tool, always make sure that
hazardous situations are avoided.
• Do not use the tool in places or situations where you may lose your balance.
• Keep the hand that is not gripping the handle away from the tool.
• Never remove, alter or damage any parts or safety devices.
• Set the pressure to 10 bar.
• When the tool is connected to the air line but is not being used, make sure the
safety catch (3) is engaged.
• Always check the efficiency of the safety catch (3) on the lever (22).
• All the maintenance operations not described in the manual must be carried
out by an authorized service shop.
• Before performing any maintenance, engage the safety catch (3) and
disconnect the air hose.
WARNING: When transporting the “SISTEM” shears always disconnect the air supply
hose.
WARNING: Risks resulting from the operator’s exposure to noise and or vibrations
from the machine or tool.
3.3. Noise level
Continuous equivalent weighted sound pressure level A in the working place, measured
according to the UNI EN ISO 11201 regulations:
LAeq = 76,35 dBA
3. . Vibrations level
Frequency weighted mean square value of the acceleration transmitted to the hand-arm
system to which the user is exposed, measured in compliance with EN ISO 5349-2:2015:

) OPERATION
.1. Controls:
•Control lever (21): gently press the control lever to make the shear cut.
•When the control lever (21) is released, the safety catch must be manually
engaged.
WARNING: Always check the efficiency of the safety devices.
.2 Connection to air supply line:
•Make sure the safety catch (3) is on.
•Set the compressor to a pressure of 10 bar.
•Screw on a 1 4" quick coupling.
•Check the air hose for the presence of dirt or impurities before connecting it.
5) MAINTENANCE
5.1 General information
Before performing any maintenance engage the safety catch (3) and disconnect the air
hose.
WARNING: All the maintenance operations that are not described in the manual must
be carried out by an authorized service shop.
WARNING: Beware of parts with sharp cutting edges. Only handle with sturdy gloves.
5.2 Ordinary maintenance:
 Adjusting the blades:
•Unscrew the nut (25-26).
•Screw down the pin (30)

 Sharpening the mobile blade:
•Only the cutting edge of the blade should be sharpened when required,
using the special stone; sharpening angle: 45°.
 Lubrication:
•Using the compressor makes the pruning shears lube-free.
 Cleaning the blades:
•Dip the blades (35) (until the pin is covered) into a mixture of 50% oil and
50% diesel fuel at the end of each workday. This will avoid deposits due to
the wood moisture.
 Cleaning the filter:
•Unscrew the quick coupling or connector.
•Clean the air filter (4) every 20 working hours.
•Replace the filter when damaged.
 Cleaning the valves:
•Clean the valves every 150 working hours by following these instructions:
 Drive valve:
•Remove the guard (31)
•Remove the control lever (21);
•Unscrew the caps (6) and (12) with snap ring pliers;
•Gently pull out the valve (9);
•Blow compressed air onto the valves and their seats; reassemble the parts
by following the instructions in reverse.
WARNING: After cleaning the valve, check the safety catch (3) for proper functioning.
Never use the tool without first installing the guard or if the safety catch is off.
5.3 Removing the parts
When maintenance is required, remove the parts following these instructions:
 Removing the guard (31)
•Remove the pin (32) and the 4x5 screw inserted in the bracket (22)
•Using a screwdriver, exert a slight pressure between the body and the
guard.
 Removing the control lever (11)
•Using a screwdriver, exert a slight pressure between the body and the
lever.
 Removing the valve group (5)
•Remove the guard (31) and the lever (21);
•Clamp the valve assembly (5);
•Unscrew the body by hand (20)
 Removing the connecting rod (16)
•Keeping the blades closed with your hand (always wear heavy gloves), put
a 20 mm ø pin between the shear body (20) and the connecting rod (16)
and blade (35);
•Use a pindriver to remove the rivet (32). The rivet cannot be re-used.

 Removing the blades (35)
•Remove the rivet (32) by using a pindriver;
•Remove the nuts (25-26) and the pin (30);
•Loosen the 6x14 screws (24).
 Removing the manual safety catch (3)
•Insert a screwdriver into the rear part of the safety catch (3);
•Lever out and carefully lift the catch.
6) TROUBLESHOOTING
Faults:
-The tool doesn’t work
4. Check that the compressor is working
5. Check the position of the safety catch (3).
6. Check the position of the manual safety catch (3).
-The tool doesn’t have enough cutting power
4. Make sure the air supply hose is clean.
5. Check the pressure in the compressor unit.
6. Make sure the blade (30) pivot pin is not too tight.
-Air leaks
3. Replace the seals even if only slightly damaged
4. Check the seal (13).
All these operations should be performed with the safety catch engaged.
