EYE SAFETY
Class 1M laser products, as defined in IEC/EN 60825-1:1994
and IEC/EN 60825-1/A2:2001. Although the NK -500 series meet
ANSI and IEC standards for eye safety when not viewed with
binoculars or other optical
output aperture, you should avoid looking directly into the laser
aperture during operation. The lasers operate at a wavelength of
658 nm, which is in the infrared region of the electromagnetic
spectrum and is not visible to the human eye.

collimated beam (such as those used in open-beam
telecommunications systems).
