INTRODUCTION
This manual concerns the instructions for managing the web-server generated by the module LAN-Wi.
Module Wi-LAN
“Carambola”: MD-WIFI
The module “Carambola” adds a LAN/wi interface to the controller ERMU.
It has a proper MAC Address indicated by the sticker showed on the shield of the module.

The module MD-WIFI “Carambola” generates a proper Wi eld, with proper coordinates, manages the LAN
connection and generates a Data-base of information correlated with the information memorized in the
controller Ermu.

MD-WIFI nd WIFI ACCESS POINT - I/F LAN FOR ERMU
The module acting as Web-server, allows the controller to operate in 3 different modes:
1. WiFi Access Point (AP) [Factory setting ]
In this case the web server generates an indipendent wi eld that can be connected through a point-to-point
from any wi device ( mobilephone, Tablet, PC, etc,) ;
2. WiFi Station
The Ermu with its own web server can be connected to a local wi router, assigning an IP address ( static or in
DHCP). You need to specify the network parameters as the IP address, the Subnetmask, the Gateway address,
etc.
3. LAN ( Client)
The LAN module allows to make Ermu as part of a LAN. Even in that case you must specify the network
parameters.

GETTING STARTED
The controller ERMU, with the MD-WIFI on board, operates, by factory, as WIFI Access Point. You can connect
with it from your access device ( PC, Tablet or Smartphone) through a point-to-point communication, detecting
rst of all the wi eld generated by the module.
Among the possible different wi local elds found by your device, look for the one identied by the following
number:
ermu-XX:XX.XX
Where the XX.XX.XX are the last 3 couples of characters of the MAC address of the MD-WIFI Module, as
showed in the sticker of the module.
The Wi access is encrypted “WPA/WPA2 Mixed” and protected by the password : “adminadmin”.
Typing the password you get the connection to the wi module.
Then open your browser : automatically you will be redirected to the login page of the module.
If it doesn’t happen, type : http://192.168.1.1 and you will be prompted to the login AREA.
You can login as User, Congurator or Guest. Guest enabled for navigation only, and cannot change anything.
Each one has his own password. Default passwords are 11111 for everyone. It is an alphanumeric string.
