Espresso...
Espresso is an approach to extracting flavor from roasted coffee beans.
The word << espresso >> is derived from the Italian translation of
<< espress >>, since it is brewed and served immediately.
An espresso coffee is a 30ml extract of purified hot water pushed
through freshly ground coffee beans.
Espresso coffee should have a deep reddish-brown color. A thick foam
generated from the coffee extraction should lay at the surface of the
espresso coffee; this foam is known as << the crema >>

PRECAUTIONS
Install the machine on the strong
and flat place.
▶May result in strange vibration, noise or
defect.
Need of shield between the
machine and outlet.
▶There is a risk of short circuit of electric
shock caused by hot water through the
operating machine and splash of water.
Secure the stable space.
▶Leave a space between the wall more
than 10cm and do not road with the
infalmmables or combustibles.
When it is not in use for a long
period of time
▶ First, unplug the power cord and
detach the water reservoir, the brewer,
the cake box and the drip tray. Then,
clean the machine by following
instructions; "Cleaning".
( But, Plug on in case of a risk of burst
from freezing during winter.)
Clean the machine with a soft dry
cloth or lightly moistured sponge
and with a neutral detergent.
▶Do not clean the machine with such
substances such as hydrochloric acid
detergent, thinner and benzene.
May result in damage of the machine.
Only espresso coffee bean should
be placed in coffee bean
container.
▶Do not put powdered coffee, instant
coffee, water or other materials in the
machine. May result in malfunction.
Have function of prevention of
burst from freezing.
▶Plug on during winter.
Can cut down damage of machine
caused by burst when the temperature
goes down automatically.

OPERATION
ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE
LCD Screen
▶ It is counted one per one cup of coffee when brewing. It is counted up to
9999, after that, it is counted from one again. And it is also counted including
Cappuccino, strong and light.
▶ It blinks on the left and right during brewing coffee, is turned off when
brewing coffee is completed.
▶ Function of turning on and off the power
In case of turning on or off the power, about 30cc of water comes out
through dispenser by turned into the cleaning mode automatically.
▶ It blinks with operation icon when you push the Cappuccino button. It
indicates cappuccino is running brewing. Cappuccino is available only in
case of connection with the milk reservoir. If the machine is not connected
with the milk reservoir, this indication is turned off. The amount of brewing
coffee and milk is not adjustable.
▶ It blinks with operation icon when you push the Strong button. It indicates
Strong coffee is running brewing. You are adjustable the amount of brewing
by controlling the volume of the water. Control the amount of brewing before
pushing the Strong button.
▶ It blinks with operation icon when you push the Light button. It indicates Light
coffee is running brewing. You are adjustable the amount of brewing by
controlling the volume of the water. Control the amount of brewing before
pushing the Light button.
▶ It shows you whether the inner brewer is connected correctly or not.
The light is off in case of correct connection, the light blinks in case of
incorrect connection. Open the front door and then connect the brewer to the
machine correctly.

▶ It indicates that whether the front door is closed correctly or not. The light is
off in case of closed correctly, the light blinks in case of not closed. The
machine stops operating when you open the door. If you close the door
again, it is switched to the state of coffee brewing.
▶ It indicates that whether coffee is in the coffee bean container or not, whether
the coffee bean cover is opened or not. Fill the coffee bean container with
coffee if it is empty and make sure to close the coffee bean cover. The
machine stops operating when you open the coffee bean cover. If you close
it, it is switched to the state of coffee brewing.
▶ It indicates that whether water is in the water tank or not. The light is always
off while when the water tank is filled with water, the light blinks when the
water tank is empty. Fill it with water when it is empty. Make sure it is
connected correctly. The performance of pump is decreased when the
connection is incorrect, It may result in reducing the amount of brewing or
hot water.
▶ It blinks when it is time to empty the cake box. This light blinks when you
brewed coffee 15 times. At this time, detach the cake box from the machine
and discharge the dump box properly. And then you can brew coffee after
the connection.
▶ It blinks when you use approx.300ℓ of coffee or hot water. At that time, you
should change the Filter, located under the hot water reservoir. The light of
Filter is off when you change the Filter.
▶ It blinks when some problems are occurred with the machine. You'd better
check out the machine to our technicians. Unplug the power cord and then
contact our customer service center.
▶ Performance for the amount of brewing coffee. You can adjust the amount of
coffee brewing-Light and Strong before pushing the Light or Strong button.
The amount of water is adjustable from Approx.30cc to 150cc.
▶ Turn the hot water valve when you use hot water. Hot water comes out from
the brewer, use below 180cc. In case of exceeding, it may result in
decreasing temperature of hot water. Brewing stops when you turn the hot
water valve during operation of brewing. Do not turn the hot water valve
during brewing coffee.

OPERATION
■We adopted a control function for automatic powder granularity according to coffee menu
with development of AOF(Automatic adjustment Of Fineness) system for the first time in the
world.

USAGE
ESPRESSO COFFEE MACHINE
1. Plug on the outlet.
▶
2. Fill coffee beans in the coffee
bean container.
▶Fill at least 30g of coffee.
After refilling the coffee
bean, be sure to
replace the lid.
3. Fill water in the water reservoir.
(Only at the beginning)
▶It needs to fill the water reservoir with
fresh water when you firstly use the
machine.
Fill the water reservoir with water.
Put a cup on the coffee dispenser and
operate the machine by pushing the
power button and then turn the steam
valve, located on the top. After a while,
some water comes out
from coffee dispenser,
close the hot water
valve when the cup
is full.
4. Automatic cleaning
▶In case of turning on or off the power, it
is turned on or off after coming out
about 30cc of water through dispenser
by turned into the cleaning mode
automatically.
5. Brewing coffee
▶All the icons-Cappuccino, Strong and
Light are turned off when the
preparation of brewing(pre-heating) is
completed, at that time push the button
(Cappuccino, Strong, Light) what you
want.
You can enjoy original flavor and taste
through the process of grinding and
pumping.
(You can adjust the amount of brewing
according to your taste.)
6. Brewing Cappuccino
▶Milk is needed to brew Cappuccino.
After fill some milk (more than 100cc) in
the milk reservoir, connect this milk
reservoir to the machine.
▶If it is connected correctly, the
Cappuccino icon on the LCD screen is
turned on. When you push the
Cappuccino button, coffee is brewed
after brewing foam of milk.
※ After filling the milk reservoir with
water, the cleaning process to get
rid of excess milk in the pipe is
activated by pressing the
Cappuccino button for three or more
seconds. And cleaning function is
automatically activated within about
20 seconds after detaching the milk
reservoir from the machine. Milk is
needed to brew Cappuccino.

USAGE
7. Use of hot water
▶Hot water comes out by turning the hot
water valve, located on the top of the
machine.
You can use hot water with an
additional use in case of tasting light
coffee.
You should use hot water within 180cc.
In case of exceeding, the temperature
of hot water may go down.
Use after completion of brewing.
8. Power saving
▶If the machine may not used for 3
hours, it is turned off automatically in
order to save power. To use again,
press the power button.
9. Changing the filter
▶1) The purpose of filter is to remove
calcium inside water. It is
recommended to use filter even though
you use purified water.
2) You should change the filter when
the filter icon blinks on the LCD screen.
The filter operates normally in case of
not changing the filter, but scaling
inside the boiler caused by not using
clean filter will result in shortened life of
the machine.
On ocassion of the malfunction due to
not changing the filter, you are
responsible for the charge for repairs.
10. How to change the filter
▶Unplug the cord and then remove the
water reservoir.
Turn left and right the locking lever,
located on upper part of the filter. And
after lifting up the fixing-lever of the
filter, change the filter.

▶Exterior or standards of this machine can be replaced without notice to customers
in order to improve the quality and the performance.
▶The machine is made for home and/or office usage.
▶Taste of coffee may differ according to the manufacturer or grinding.

CLEANING THE PRODUCT

1. Cleaning water reservoir
▶After detaching the water reservoir from
the machine, use natural detergent and
a soft cloth to clean the surface.
It is advised to clean the water
reservoir regularly before refilling it.
2. Cleaning the brewer
▶Detach the brewer and souse it in
water . Clean it by turning it left and
right using the cleaning grip for brewer.
Do not use detergent. You'd better
clean it constantly in order to keep it
clean.

3. Drip tray
▶Open the door of the machine and
detach the drip tray and the cake
box.
The drip tray gets filled with water after
usage. Empty regularly in order to
prevent from water overflowing and
keep clean.
4. Cake box
▶You should discharge the cake box
after producing coffee 15 times. The
cake box is detached with drip tray.
Use after combining the cake box with
the drip tray.
5. Coffee bean container
▶Do not put water into the coffee bean
container. This will result in mechanical
failure. Use only the cleaning brush for
grinder. Do not use water or any other
liquid to clean it.
Cleaning the product
Please keep the machine clean at all times.
