1. Overview
1.1 Description and instructions for use
1.1.1 General information
Please read this Manual and carefully follow its instructions. To emphasize specific
information, the words "Warning, Notice, and Caution" have special meanings. Please pay
special attention to the words in bold.
△
! Warning
Indicating a potential hazard that may result in death or injury.
△! Notice
Indicating a potential hazard that may cause damage to the vehicle.
△! Caution
Indicating special information that makes maintenance easier or clearer.
△
! Warning
This Maintenance Manual is only for use by authorized dealers and service stations.
The repair described in this Manual cannot be performed correctly by inexperienced
maintenance personnel or maintenance personnel without appropriate tools and equipment.
Incorrect repair can cause injury to maintenance personnel and create safety hazards for
the driver and passengers of the vehicle.
How to use this Manual
There is a complete table of contents on the general catalog of this Manual, which
makes it easy to find the information you need.
△! Caution
Before starting maintenance , cover protective panels, seats, and any other components
that may be scratched or discolored. In addition, your clothing (such as buttons, etc.) may
cause damage to the vehicle being repaired.
△
! Warning
Whenever supporting a vehicle for maintenance, the instructions in "Traction and
raising" must be followed.
When removing the components that need to be reused, they must be arranged in the
proper order so as to reinstall them in the correct order and location.

Overview
2
Whenever oil seals, sealing gaskets, gaskets, sealing rings, lock washers, split pins,
self-locking nuts, and certain other specified components are used, new ones must be used.
That is, before installing these new components, the residual material on the mating surface
must be removed.
When using a specified type of lubricating material, adhesive, or sealant, the specified
type must be used.
General precautions
When repairing the vehicle, you should observe the general precautions described in the
following "Warning" and "Caution". These precautions apply to many maintenance
procedures in this Manual, but the contents of "Warning" and "Caution" are not repeated
during each maintenance procedure.
Metric Information
System of measurement for metric fasteners
Most of the fasteners used in the vehicle are in metric units. When replacing fasteners,
you must ensure that the diameter, pitch and strength of the replacement are correct.
Strength identification of metric fasteners
The most commonly used metric fasteners have strength performance levels of 4T and
7T, and the star shaped lines representing strength levels are stamped on the top of each
bolt. Some metric nuts have a strength mark with a punch mark on the nut face. The
following table shows various intensity markers. When replacing metric fasteners, pay
attention to using bolts and nuts with the same strength or bolts and nuts with a slightly
higher strength than the original fastener (with the same or higher grade). Of course,
selecting the correct size for replacement fasteners is also important. Correct replacement
parts for bolts and nuts can also be obtained through the division of parts.
Standard tightening torque for metric fasteners
Each fastener should be tightened to the torque specified in each section of this
Manual.
If there are no instructions or regulations, please refer to the following table for the
torque tightening of each fastener. However, when using fasteners with greater strength
than the original fastener, the torque specified for the original fastener should be used.

1.1.3 Traction and raising
Vehicle raising position
Front side
Rear side
1 - Front right wheel
2 – Rear right wheel
Consider maintaining vehicle balance throughout the maintenance process. The
balance of the vehicle on the lifting jack may change as components are removed.
Before raising the vehicle, check to ensure that the end of the lifting jack rocker arm
does not come into contact with the brake pipes, brackets, or any other components.
When the frame contacts the lifting jack, place the lifting jack at the position shown in
the figure (left and right are in the same position). Raise the vehicle until the four wheels are
a little off the ground and ensure that the vehicle does not fall when pushed on both sides of
the vehicle body. Work cannot begin until those are determined.
After raising the vehicle, absolutely ensure that the lifting jack is locked.
When using a plate jack
Front side
Rear side
1-Plate jack; 2 - Front end lower cross piece; 3 - Rear axle
1. Use a jack to lift the front or rear end of the vehicle off the ground, ensuring that
the jack is firmly in contact with the drive motor front support beam or rear axle.

2. When performing repairs, the safety strut must be placed under the vehicle body.
Check to ensure that the vehicle body does not slide onto safety support, making the
vehicle secure.
△
!Warning
Do not push the jack onto suspension components (such as stabilizers, etc.) or
vehicle floor panels, as this can cause deformation.
If the vehicle is only being pushed against the front or rear end, ensure that the
wheels on the ground do not rotate to ensure safety.
When the vehicle is jacked up, it must be supported on a support. It is extremely
dangerous to do anything on a vehicle that is lifted by a jack.
