1. Power Button: starts the device
2. Up button: increases setting values or when in exercise mode it can display the time the device has been
operating.
3. Down button: decreases setting values or when in exercise mode can be used to go into 'Information' mode.
4. Set button: confirm entered values or in exercise mode can be used to re-enter body weight or enter
information mode.
5. Go button: start body fat measurement mode.
The Body Fat Manager (BFM) is a device to measure the users BMI, body fat ratio and provide individual
health management information (eg. Basic calorie needs, advice on whether to increase or decrease weight,
advise how many calories should be used daily and daily exercise needs.)

5. Weight-loss program setting mode: (As in Figure 14)
Press up or down to set the number of days for your weight-loss program
(30, 60 or 90 days), press set to confirm. The device will then move into
information mode.
6. Take an analysis.
(1) After completing the initial data setting, press "Go" to start the body fat
analysis (see Figure 15.)
(2) Position both thumbs on the measuring electrodes and press tightly (see Figure 16.) With 1 tiny electrical
signal applied at the thumbs via the two electrodes, conductivity is precisely measured. The BMI and
body fat percentage can be computed by the built-in formula and then be displayed on the LCD
(see Figures 17 & 18.)

Basic operation
Intended use 2. Sex setting mode: (As in Figure 4 or Figure 5.)
Press up or down to set sex, press set to confirm. The device will then move into body-weight setting mode.
3. Body-weight setting mode: (As in Figure 6, Figure 7 metric measurements or Figure 8, Figure 9
imperial measurements.)
Press up or down to set body weight, press set to confirm. The device will then move into body-height
setting mode.
4. Body height setting mode: (As in Figure 10, Figure 11 for metric measurements or Figure 12, Figure
13 for imperial measurements.)
Press up or down to set height, press "set" to confirm. The device will then move into weight-loss
program setting mode.
• After turning the device on, while the display is showing all symbols (for approx. 4 seconds),
press both the up and down buttons to change between metric and imperial.
• After turning the device on, while the display is showing all symbols (for approx. 4 seconds.)
press set and up together until the LCD displays the word "SET". You will then immediately enter
the set mode (in order, age, sex, weight, height, plan)
1. Age setting mode: (As in Figure 3)
Press up or down to set age, press set to confirm. The device will then move into sex setting mode.
Basic operation
1. BMI value: (Body Mass Index): body weight(lbs or kg) / (height(ft or m))2
2. Body-fat ratio
3. Everyday calorie intake need: ideal body-weight x 30 Kcal (under normal circumstances.)
4. Used calories count: displays number of steps!
5. Advises increase/decrease of weight
6. Advises amount of exercise
Display information
1. After starting the device, all symbols will appear for approx. 4 seconds (Figure 19 metric measurements
or Figure 20 imperial measurements.)
2. The Information mode has three pages. As pictured below:
(1) Figure 21 shows the BMI value and body fat percentage. If analysis has not been performed it displays
the results of the previous analysis.
(2) Displays advice on whether to reduce or increase weight and how many calories need to be used
(Figure 22 metric measurements or Figure 23 imperial measurements.)

[2] Display contents, the daily calorie use. The figure already includes basic use and exercise advice.
If body weight is below standard there will be no recommendation.
[3] Everyday calorie use, will change according to the days left on the plan. Default setting is 30 days.

(3) The display will show suggested exercise amount (measured by steps), the next number is the body's
necessary daily intake of calories (as in Figure 24 metric measurements or Figure 25 imperial
measurements.)
[1] If the client needs to increase weight there will be no exercise suggestion. The standard used is: On
a flat road, maintaining a walking speed of 5.6km, for every kilogram of body weight, 5.6kcal will be used.
[2] Suggested daily calorie intake will be calculated according to your BMI weight (the ideal weight
compared to your height). Each kilogram of body weight needs 30kcal.
3. These three pages in Information mode will scroll through once. Each page will display for 5 seconds
(holding down the up button can extend the time. If the down button is pressed the page will change
immediately.) After displaying the three pages, if no buttons are pressed the device will automatically go
into exercise mode.
4. In exercise mode, if the down button is pressed the device will immediately go into Information mode and
repeat the display of data.
5. The exercise mode will display the planned weight loss and kcal used up to today. (Figure 26 and Figure 27.)
**If the display shows 000 that means the exercise mode is in operation.
6. When exercising the BFM will automatically switch on and display exercise mode.
7. If there is no movement the device will go into
sleep mode after 6-7seconds. It will continue to
calculate daily calorie usage.
8. In exercise mode, if the "set" button is pressed,
body weight data can be amended. After the new
data is set, press "set" one more time to enter "information"
mode to re-calculate suggestions.
9. In exercise mode, if up is pressed, the display will show the weight-loss plan and the time elapsed.
10. At any time press "GO" to enter body fat testing mode.

• This device is powered by one CR2032 Lithium battery.
• Use your nail to lift the bottom of battery lid from the middle , then pull it down to open it. Place
one 3V CR2032 lithium battery with “+’’ (positive ) side up into battery compartment.
**Asking the professional technicians for assistance of battery replacement is recommended.
• Battery Low:
When the capacity of battery is too low to operate,LCD screen will show "LO" figure,then system will shut off.

What Does This Warranty Cover?
• This warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship in your Product under normal use and conditions.
What is the Period of Coverage?
• This warranty covers your Product for 90 days from the original purchase date.
Who Is Covered?
• This warranty covers the original consumer purchaser. Coverage terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer your
Product.
What Will We Do To Correct Problems?
• We will repair your Product or replace your Product with a new or reconditioned equivalent product, at our option.
How Do You Get Service?
• Call Logitech Electronics TOLL FREE at 1-800-449-3315 for instructions for obtaining warranty service from
Orbyx’s authorized service providers.
• Or, return your Product directly to the retail store from which you purchased the Product.
• When you obtain service for your Product, you must provide a purchase receipt (or other proof of the original
purchase date) and a description of the defect(s).
What Does This Warranty Not Cover?
• This warranty DOES NOT COVER:
• damage due to misuse, abuse, alteration, unauthorized repair, or accident (such as improper electrical current);
• damage due to “acts of God” (such as lightning) or other contingencies beyond our control;
• cosmetic damage;
• externally generated static, signal reception or antenna problems not caused by your Product; or batteries.
• This warranty also DOES NOT COVER, and in no case will we be liable for, any incidental damages (such as
transportation costs to and from an authorized service provider, or loss of time) or consequential damages (such
as costs of repairing or replacing other property which is damaged, including tapes, discs, speakers not included
with your Product or other accessories, or external electrical systems) resulting from the use of your Product.

ORBYX Electronics warrants that this product will be free from defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date
of purchase. Within this period, simply take the product and your proof of
purchase to any ORBYX Electronics store or dealer and the product will be
repaired without charge for parts and labour. ORBYX Electronics reserves
the right to charge for transportation. Any product which has been subject
to misuse or accidental damage is excluded from this warranty.
This warranty is only applicable to a product purchased through ORBYX
Electronics' company owned stores and dealers and to a product that is
presented for repair in a country where ORBYX Electronics offers the
product for sale. While this warranty does not confer any legal rights other
