Iron (I100)

2
Basic precautions should always be followed when using an iron, including the follow-
ing: READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
1. Only use iron for its intended use.
2. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not im-
merse the iron in water or other liquids.
3. Always turn the iron OFF before plugging or un-
plugging the iron from the electrical outlet. Nev-
er pull on the cord to disconnect the iron from the
electrical outlet; instead, grasp the plug and pull
on the plug to disconnect the iron.
4. Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces. Let the
iron cool completely before putting the iron away.
Coil the cord loosely around the iron when storing.
5. Always disconnect the iron from the electrical
outlet before lling the iron with water, emptying
the water from the iron, and when the iron is not
in use. SAVE THE SE INSTRUCTIONS
6. Do not operate the iron if the cord is damaged or
in the event, the iron has been dropped. To avoid
the risk of electric shock, do not disassemble the
iron. Please take it to a qualied service member
for examination and repair. The incorrect assembly
might result in a risk of electric shock when the
iron is used after reassembly.
7. Close supervision is required for any appliance
used by or near children. Do not leave the iron un-
attended while the iron is connected or on an iron-
ing board.
8. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts,
water, or steam. Use caution when you turn a
STEAM IRON upside down – there might be hot
water in the reservoir.
9. To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate an
iron on the same circuit with another high wattage
appliance.
10. An extension cord must have the ampere rating
equal to or greater than the maximum rating of
the iron if it shall be used. A cord rated for less am-
perage can result in a risk of re or electric shock
due to overheating. Care shall be taken to arrange
the cord so it cannot be pulled or tripped over.
11. The iron must not be left unattended while con-
nected to the supply mains.
12. The plug must be removed from the socket out-
let before the water reservoir is lled with water(-
for STEAM IRONS and irons incorporating means
for spraying water(.
13. the iron must be used and rested on a stable
surface. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure
that the surface on which the stand is placed is sta-
ble.
14. The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped,
if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leak-
ing.
15. This appliance is not intended for use by per-
sons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experi-
ence and knowledge unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning the appliance
use by a person responsible for their safety.
16. Children should be supervised to ensure they
do not play with the appliance.
17. If the SUPPLY CORD is damaged, it must be re-
placed by the manufacturer, its service agent, or
similarly qualied persons to avoid any hazard.

Water injection method:
1. Before water injection, unplug the electric iron and rotate the steam adjustment knob to the no-steam
position “O.”
2. Open the water injection cover. Then, tilt the iron head upwards to inject about 130ml of puried water
into the water tank. Put the iron upright to observe the water level, ensuring that the water does not ex-
ceed the maximum water level “MAX” to prevent overow, and replace the water injection cover.
Temperature setting:
First, check whether there are ironing instructions for clothing, and then refer to the following chart to select
the appropriate temperature settings; if there are no ironing instructions on the clothing, you can also refer
to the following chart to choose the proper ironing temperature. (Instructions continue on page 6)
PRODUCT FEATURES OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

6
1. Rotate the thermostat knob to the correct position according to the clothing material.
2. Insert the power plug into a grounded electric outlet, the work indicator (red) is on, and put the iron upright
on the table.
3. When the work indicator (red) is off, you can start ironing.
Steam ironing:
1. Make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.
2. Rotate the thermostat knob to the recommended position (see the temperature setting section) and rotate the
steam adjustment knob to the no-steam position.
3. When the work indicator (red) illuminates and then extinguishes, rotate the steam adjustment knob to the
appropriate position, and then you can start steam ironing.
Note: The iron is provided with the low-temperature steam “leak-proof” shuto device.
When the sole plate temperature is too low, it automatically stops generating steam, and
you will hear the “click” sound from the shuto device. Therefore, when ironing clothing
that only needs medium temperature (• •) steam ironing, try to use a lower steam level to
avoid the frequent operation of the low temperature “leak-proof” device.
Ironing without steam:
1. Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the no-steam position.
2. Rotate the thermostat knob to the recommended position (see the temperature setting section).
Powerful steam jet:
1. Powerful steam jet function only works when the temperature is set between (medium temperature and
the maximum temperature (MAX).
2. Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the “o” position.
3. When the work indicator (red) illuminates and then extinguishes, pick up the iron, aim the sole plate at the
clothing to be ironed, and press the powerful steam jet button (1) to eject powerful steam.
Note: When the powerful steam jet weakens signicantly, or water droplets are dripping
from the steam hole, it is indicated that the iron temperature has reduced; at this time, you
need to stop using the powerful steam jet function, wait until the work indicator (red) illumi-
nates and then extinguishes, and then you can use the function again. The iron is provided
with the low-temperature steam “leak-proof” shuto device. When the sole plate tempera-
ture is too low, it automatically stops generating steam, and then you will hear the “click”
sound from the shuto device. Therefore, when ironing clothing that only needs medium
temperature (• •) steam ironing, try to use a lower steam level to avoid the frequent oper-
ation of the low temperature “leak-proof” device.

Automatic power-o function:
When the iron is put horizontally for 30 seconds, set on its side for 10 minutes, or put upright on a
surface for 10 minutes without operation, the work indicator (green will ash, indicating that the
power of the iron has been turned off automatically. To continue to use, shake the iron gently, then
the work indicator (green will stop ashing, and the iron can be used normally. Hence, it is safe
and saves energy.
Cleaning and storage method:
1. Inject water into the water tank and gently shake to clean the tank.
2. After cleaning, pour away the water in the water tank, turn on the power, rotate the thermostat
knob to the maximum position, and allow the iron to heat for 3-5 minutes.
3. Rotate the steam adjustment knob to the “o” no-steam position, and rotate the thermostat knob to
the “MIN” position.

burns.
7. Prevent the power cord from contacting the hot sole plate.
8. Do not immerse the iron in any liquid for cleaning.
9. Before inserting or removing the plug, rotate the thermostat knob to the “MIN” position.
10. Do not eject steam to others.
