Hip & Thigh Percussion Massager
SPA AT HOME

Please read these instructions carefully before using your new Hip & Thigh
Percussion Massager for the rst time.
Please keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.
WARNINGS
• Do not use on sensitive areas of skin, areas of poor circulation, discoloured
areas, swelling, burning and inammation or where skin eruptions or sores
are present.
• Do not use as a substitute for medical attention, if symptoms persist seek
medical advice.
• Do not use on an infants or small children, or on a sleeping or unconscious
person.
• Do not use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.
The massager is not recommended for use by Diabetics.
• Do not use the heat function without the attachments being tted, danger
of burns.
• Do not use the heat function for more than 15 minutes at any one time;
heat should be pleasant and comfortable on the skin.
• Do not treat the same area for longer than 3 minutes during any treatment.
• Do not use this massager in a bathroom or near vessels containing water;
never reach for an appliance that has fallen in water or other liquids. If this
happens switch o at the mains supply and unplug immediately.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by Champneys.
• Do not operate near to aerosol spray products or where Oxygen is being
used / administered.
• Do not carry this appliance by the lead or use lead as a handle.
• Do not wrap the wire around the power unit or the massager for storage,
danger of damage to the cable.
• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
• Regularly inspect the massager and its cable for signs of damage. The
massager contains no user serviceable parts, if its found to be damaged it
should be scrapped.
• Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

IMPORTANT
• We recommend you consult your doctor if you have any concerns
about medical conditions you have that may be aected by use of the
massager.
People with pacemakers and pregnant women should consult a doctor
before using this massager.
• If pain or discomfort results from use, discontinue use immediately. If
symptoms continue consult your doctor.
• This product requires a mains supply voltage 230-240Volts ac.
• We recommend you do not use before going to bed, the massage eect
can cause stimulation and delay sleep.
• Always unplug the massager from the mains supply after using and before
cleaning and never leave unattended when plugged in.
• Always unplug the massager from the mains supply before removing or
tting attachments.
• Care should be taken when using with the heated feature, excessive use
can lead to overheating. If the product feels excessively hot stop using it,
switch o at supply mains and allow time to cool down.
• Always use this appliance for the intended use as described in this booklet.
• This massager is intended for home use only.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Massage Function
1. Connect the adapter lead to the product by inserting the connector into the socket attached
to the massager. Plug the massager into a 230-240V mains supply outlet, place hand through
securing strap and press the power button once to switch on.
2. Your massager comes equipped with 3 attachments (Figure 1). Attach the dierent heads by
twisting on (clockwise) or twisting o (anti-clockwise) (Figure 2).
3. Grip massager by placing your hand through the elasticated strap and grasping the unit with
ngers outstretched. The strap should be positioned over the back of your hand (Figure 3).
4. Press the power button once to activate the massager. The button will illuminate blue. Adjust
the massage intensity by rotating the dial on the front of massager (Figure 4).
5. Heat Function: All attachments are compatible with the heat function. To activate press the
power button a 2nd time, it will illuminate red to indicate that the heat setting is on. The centre
of the attachment will begin to heat up. NOTE: To eliminate the risk of being burned, never
use the heat function without the attachments. Do not use the thermal heat continuously
for more than 15 minutes. Do not use the thermal heat if you have sensitive skin, poor
circulation, discoloured areas, swelling, burning and inammation or where skin eruptions or
sores are present. Heat should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result,
discontinue use and consult your physician.
6. Apply the massager head lightly to the area you wish to treat. Move the unit slowly, holding
it over the targeted area. Treat the area for a short period of time and move to another area.
NEVER treat the same area for longer than 3 minutes.
7. To turn the unit o, press the power switch a 3rd time. For your safety the device will
automatically turn o after 15 minutes of continuous use.
MAINTENANCE:
Cleaning
Unplug the appliance and allow to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp
sponge and dry before using.

Storage
Place the appliance in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. To avoid breakage, DO NOT wrap the
adapter lead around the appliance. DO NOT hang the unit by the lead.

SERVICE INFORMATION
Should your Hip & Thigh Percussion Massager fail to operate please check that it is being used in
accordance with the instructions.
If after checking the above, the Hip & Thigh Percussion Massager is found to be faulty and is
within the guarantee period, it should be returned to your nearest Boots store stocking this item
together with proof of purchase.
If the Hip & Thigh Percussion Massager is damaged it should NOT be used. This product contains
no user serviceable parts.
WARRANTY
In addition to your statutory rights, Champneys agrees that if any defect in materials or
workmanship appears in the product within two years after the original date of consumer
purchase it will repair or, at its option, replace the product free of charge. This applies only if
the product has been used for domestic purposes and has not been damaged through misuse,
accident or neglect and has not been modied or repaired by anyone other than an authorised
agent.
DISPOSAL
In order to minimize hazards to health and the environment and ensure that materials can be
recycled, this product should be disposed of at a separate collection facility for waste electrical
and electronic equipment.
