FeaturesBEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packing materials and stickers from the inside and outside
of the InstaCoffee Max. Gently wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth
or paper towel. Never immerse the InstaCoffee, its base, cord, or plug in
water or any other liquids. The electrical connections and the brew
button must never come into contact with water or any other liquids.
Rinse the coffee filter with water. Wash the capsule receptacle with a
sponge and warm, soapy water. Dry completely.
Before brewing coffee for the first time, follow the instructions to brew a
full, 14-oz cup of hot water with NO coffee grounds. This will prime the
InstaCoffee for use and clean out any dust that may have accumulated
during shipping.
Read all instructions and follow them carefully.
How to OPERATE
Fill the water tank with at least 6 oz of
water but no more than 14 oz.
STEP 2
Push the lid of the InstaCoffee
down until it clicks into place.
If necessary, plug in the
InstaCoffee.
STEP 3
Place a large mug on the base of the
InstaCoffee and press the brew button.
Do NOT remove the mug until the brew
indicator light stops blinking and turns off.

TIPS
• For a stronger cup of coffee made with a K-Cup®, use less water; for a
weaker cup, use more water.
• For best results, rinse the reusable coffee filter after every use. If
not discarded, used coffee grounds may grow mold.
• Allow the InstaCoffee to dry completely by leaving the lid open
after use.

If using a K-Cup® pod, insert the removable
receptacle in brew chamber first, then add the
K-Cup®. If using the reusable coffee filter, fill it
with ground coffee, then insert it into unit
without the receptacle.
NOTE: If using a K-Cup®, press on it firmly until
you hear it being punctured.
