1. Einführung
Der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth ist eine Weiterentwicklung der CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Serie. Die
Bluetooth Version enthält bis zu 4 Kanäle (für moderne R-G-B-W LED Stripes - Art. 66000459) und erhält
sämtliche Steuersignale per Bluetooth. Zur Steuerung und Einstellung werden daher Android Geräte mit Bluetooth
benötigt.
Es können mehrere CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth Geräte nacheinander mit einem Android Gerät über die
intuitiv zu bedienende App gesteuert werden, jedoch immer nur einzeln. Die Reichweite hängt stark von den
räumlichen Gegebenheiten ab, im freien Feld sind bis zu 50 Meter, im Innenbereich ist normalerweise ein
zuverlässiger Betrieb über 10 Meter problemlos möglich.
2. Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Das Steuergerät ist für trockene Innenräume konzipiert. Sollten sich die LEDs - sofern dafür geeignet - im Außen-
oder Feuchtbereich befinden, bieten wir hierfür auch optionale Gehäuse an.
Das Steuergerät darf nur mit einer an die LEDs angepassten Spannungsversorgung betrieben werden. Andere
Verbraucher als LEDs (insbesondere induktive Verbraucher, wie etwa Motoren oder Drosseln) können das Gerät
zerstören.
Sollten diese zuvor genannten Punkte nicht eingehalten werden, so kann es zum Kurzschluss oder elektrischen
Schlag kommen.

Pro Bluetooth Serie verwendet die Bluetooth Technologie.

4. Sicherheitshinweise
Das Gerät erzeugt bei Betrieb Wärme. Auf ausreichende Luftzirkulation muss geachtet werden.
Das Modul verfügt intern über einen Verpolungsschutz (mit begrenzter Leistungsfähigkeit); trotzdem kann
Verpolung (auch kurzzeitig) das Gerät zerstören.
Beim nicht bestimmungsgemäßem Betrieb, Verpolung, bei Umbau des Gerätes, bei Sach- oder
Personenschäden, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise
verursacht werden, übernehmen wir keinerlei Haftung und der Garantieanspruch erlischt vollständig.
Sofern sich die LEDs im Feuchtbereich (z.B. Schwimmbäder, Sauna, ...) befinden, ist besonders auf die geltenden
Vorschriften bezüglich der Stromversorgung zu achten.
Die Installation des Produktes darf nur durch eine qualifizierte Fachkraft erfolgen, die mit den geltenden
Vorschriften (z.B. DIN, VDE, EN) vertraut ist.
Dieses Produkt ist kein Spielzeug und gehört nicht in Kinderhände.
Auch LEDs können sehr heiß werden! Es ist in jedem Fall ratsam, die vorgegebene Maximaltemperatur der
Leuchtmittel nicht zu überschreiten, da sich dies nachhaltig auf Lebensdauer und Lichtintensität der LEDs
auswirken kann.
Warnung #1: LEDs können eine sehr hohe Lichtintensität entwickeln, selbst im gedimmten Zustand! Speziell in
Verbindung mit Optiken können selbst schwache LEDs sehr gefährlich werden. Der direkte Blick in LEDs kann
irreparable Schäden an der Netzhaut des Auges hervorrufen. Verwenden Sie Diffusoren zur Lichtstreuung.
Warnung #2: Bitte beachten Sie, dass LED Licht seine Intensität sehr schnell wechseln kann. Schnell wechselnde
Lichteffekte können die Wahrnehmung beeinflussen, Beschwerden hervorrufen, oder Anfälle bei Personen mit
Neigung zu Epilepsie auslösen.

5. Montage
Der elektrische Anschluss darf nur durch eine Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden, die mit den
geltenden Richtlinien vertraut ist! Anschlussschema siehe Kapitel 6.1 für CV.
Vorsicht: Schalten Sie die Stromversorgung bzw. die Anschlussleitung spannungsfrei, bevor Sie jegliche
Arbeiten vornehmen!
Montageort
Das Produkt ist für die Montage am Boden, an der Wand und an der Decke geeignet.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Produkt auf einen stabilen, ebenen, kippfesten Untergrund montiert wird. Das
Gerät erzeugt beim Betrieb Wärme. Auf ausreichende Luftzirkulation muss geachtet werden.

6. Anschluss
Wichtig: Die Spannungsversorgung muss auf die verwendeten LEDs abgestimmt sein!
Wichtig: Eine ungeeignete Spannungsversorgung kann zu Funktionsstörungen, unerwünschtem Flackern,
Überhitzung, Zerstörung der LEDs oder Zerstörung der Elektronik führen.
Wir raten dringend von der Verwendung von unstabilisierten Billig-Netzteilen ab! Wir empfehlen in jedem Fall
Spannungsversorgungen in Schaltnetzteil-Technologie! Auch sind spezielle „LED“-Netzteile meist ungeeignet, da
diese bereits Steueuerungs-Elektronik für Konstantstrom enthalten, die nachgeschaltete Steuerungen (wie etwa
den CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth) nicht vertragen!
Ein Netzteil kann natürlich auch mehrere Module gleichzeitig speisen. In diesem Fall ist auf ausreichende Leistung
des Netzteils zu achten.
Die Module sollten mit mindestens 8 Volt versorgt werden, die maximal zulässige Spannung ist 26 Volt (+ 5%)
beim CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV.
Wichtig: Das Netzteil muss über entsprechende Puls-Belastbarkeit verfügen. Unstabilisierte oder zu schwache
Netzteile können Flackern bei Farbübergängen hervorrufen.

6.1 CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV
„CV“ steht für „Constant Voltage“, also Konstantspannung. Dieses Modell verfügt über keine Strombegrenzung.
Es gibt die Versorgungsspannung direkt an die LED-Streifen weiter. Wenn also der LED Streifen 12 Volt benötigt,
muss dies auch die Spannung des vorgeschalteten Netzteils sein.
Hinweis: In der Praxis sind LED Streifen mit 10 Volt, 12 Volt und 24 Volt üblich. LED Streifen können teilweise, je
nach Länge, sehr hohe Ströme benötigen.

Das Modell „ CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV“ kann bei dem 4 Kanal System bis zu 3 Ampere pro Kanal,
bei dem 3 Kanal System bis zu 4 Ampere pro Kanal schalten.

7. Betrieb
Betreiben Sie das Produkt nur, wenn es einwandfrei funktioniert. Im Fehlerfall schalten Sie das Produkt sofort aus
und betreiben es erst wieder nach Überprüfung durch eine Elektrofachkraft. Ein Fehlerfall liegt vor, wenn:
- sichtbare Beschädigungen auftreten
- das Produkt nicht einwandfrei arbeitet
- es qualmt, raucht, oder bei hörbaren Knistergeräuschen
- eine Überhitzung zu erkennen ist
Reparaturen des Produktes oder Arbeiten an netzspannungsführenden Teilen dürfen nur Fachkräfte des
Elektrohandwerks vornehmen.
Warnung: Hier besteht Lebensgefahr durch elektrischen Schlag!
So vermeiden Sie Störungen und Brandgefahren:
- Decken Sie das Produkt nicht ab. Beeinträchtigen Sie nicht die Luftzirkulation.
- Hängen und befestigen Sie nichts an dem Produkt, insbesondere keine Dekoration.
Lassen Sie Kinder nicht unbeaufsichtigt mit elektrischen Produkten spielen! Kinder können Gefahren im Umgang
mit elektrischer Energie nicht immer richtig einschätzen.
7.1 Erst-Inbetriebnahme
Schließen Sie laut den Zeichnungen Abb. 2 bis 4 die Geräte an das Netzteil, sowie die LEDs an. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass entsprechende LED-Streifen am CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV angeschlossen sind und das
richtige Netzteil gewählt wurde.
Nach Anlegen der Versorgungspannung sollte das Modul einen Farbwechsel beginnend mit rot starten.
Status LED: Auf dem Modul befindet sich eine Status-LED. Diese muss im regulären Betrieb ca. alle 5 Sekunden
blinken. Bei Datenübertragung flackert bzw. leuchtet diese.

7.2 Vernetzung und Steuerung
Das für die Datenübertragung verwendete Bluetooth Signal (2,4GHz) wird auch von anderen Geräten
(Funksteckdosen, Fernbedienungen, ...) verwendet, ein störungsfreier Betrieb aller Geräte ist aber trotzdem
gewährleistet (die geltenden Vorschriften regeln dies exakt).
Die Steuerung erfolgt mit Hilfe einer App, die im Google Play Store erhältlich ist. Es kann immer nur ein Gerät
gesteuert werden. Eine Vernetzung zwischen den Geräten ist nicht möglich.
Das Standard Pin für die Verbindung lautet: 1234
7.3 Rücksetzten der Pin
Zum Rücksetzen der Pin muss das Gehäuse geöffnet werden. Danach kann mit Hilfe des in der Abb. 5
dargestellten Jumpers der Pin zurückgesetzt werden.
Gehen Sie dabei bitte folgendermaßen vor:
1. CHROMOFLEX

Pro Bluetooth von der Spannungsversorgung trennen bzw. diese abschalten
2. Gehäusedeckel öffnen
3. Jumper auf die Position „Pin Reset“ stecken (Pin 2+3)
4. Spannungsversorgung wieder anschließen bzw. einschalten
5. Warten Sie bis die Status-LED erlischt (ca. 4 sek.)
6. Spannungsversorgung trennen bzw. diese abschalten
7. Jumper zurück stecken auf den „Normal“ Betrieb (Pin 1+2)
8. Gehäuse wieder schließen

Jedes CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth Modul wird mit (dieser) Anleitung geliefert. Sie ist Bestandteil des
Lieferumfangs für das Gerät und muss dem Endverbraucher ausgehändigt werden.

Please read this manual carefully and keep it in a safe place!
1. Introduction
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth is an advancement of CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Series. The Bluetooth version
consists of up to 4-channels (for modern R-G-B-W LED stripes - Item-no. 66000459) and receives all control
signals via Bluetooth. Therefore Android devices with Bluetooth are required for controlling.
Several CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth devices can be controlled successively with an Android device via the
intuitive app, but only individually. Operating range depends on the environment. Operation of up to 50 metres
should be possible outdoors. Indoors an operating range of 10 metres should be unproblematic.
2. Usage
The modules were designed for indoor use in dry places. The LEDs might also be used in wet environments or
outdoors, if suited for that purpose. For outdoor use we also offer optional housings.
Important: The modules must be operated with a power supply that is matched to the used LEDs! Non-LED loads
(especially inductive loads like motors, coils, etc.) might damage or destroy the module.
If any of the before mentioned points is not observed short circuit or electric shock might occur.

4. Safety instructions
The modules might produce some heat. Care must be taken to provide unrestricted air ventilation.
The unit is equipped with a limited protection against reverse polarity. Connecting the power in reverse polarity
can destroy the module, even if connected for a short time only.
Important: It is guaranteed by design that the units will never generate any higher voltage than the supply voltage.
The module is the ideal solution for use in low-voltage areas, like pools, steam baths, SPAs, etc.
Electronics must not be modified. Observe the official regulations for electrical devices (like DIN, VDE, EN),
especially when LEDs are used in wet areas!
This product is not a toy, keep away from children!
We decline any liability, loss or damage caused by improperly used modules! Guarantee is also lost in such cases.
LEDs can get quite hot. We strongly recommend ensuring maximum operating temperature is not exceeded,
because this might reduce the expected life time of the LEDs significantly.
WARNING #1: LED light may have very high intensity even when dimmed. Some modern LEDs are classified by
the lasers marking obligation. Particularly in connection with optics also weak LEDs may be very dangerous.
Staring into LEDs may cause irreparable damage to the eye's retina. Hence: NEVER STARE INTO THE BEAM.
Use diffusers to spread the intensity!
WARNING #2: Please be aware of the fact that LED light may cause side effects. This light changes intensity very
fast! Changing light may affect the perception and is also known to trigger epileptic seizures in persons who are
photosensitive.
5. Installation
The electric wiring/connection must comply with all current and valid national requirements, be constructed by a
certified electrical tradesman, and, comply with all the requirements set forth in this planning manual. Connection
scheme see chapter 6.1.
Attention: Disconnect the system and the device before doing any work!

The unit is suitable for floor-,wall- and ceiling assembly.
Make sure that the unit is mounted on a stable, plain, non-tilting base. In operation the unit might produce heat.
Care must be taken to provide unrestricted air ventilation.

6. Connection
Important: The module must be operated with a power supply that is suitable for the used LEDs!
Important: Improper power supplies may lead to malfunctions, unwanted flickering effects, overheating,
destruction of LEDs or destruction of electronics. We strongly recommend using high-quality (stabilized) switching
power supplies!
We warn against using non-stabilized power supplies. We recommend switching power supplies. Even LED power
supplies are not recommended, because some are already equipped with control electronics for constant current,
which will destroy the electronics of CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth.
One power supply can be used for several units in parallel if the maximum output power of the supply is observed.
The minimum voltage for correct operation is 8 volts; maximum voltage is 26 volts (+ 5%) for CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV.
Important: The power supply should have an equivalent pulse load. Improper power supplies may lead to
malfunctions and unwanted flickering effects in the colour changes.

6.1 CHROMOFLEX

Pro Bluetooth CV
„CV“ is an abbreviation for constant voltage.
This model does not have any internal current regulator. Supply voltage is passed through and the voltage of the
power supply must match the voltage of the LED stripe.
Note: LED stripes of 10 volts, 12 volts and 24 volts are offered on the market. Depending on the cable length used
LEDs might need very high currents.

Pro Bluetooth CV“ 4-channel version is able to control up to 3 amperes per channel. The
3-channel version is able to control up to 4 amperes per channel.

7. Operation
Please operate this unit only when it is working properly. In case of an error, switch off the unit immediately. Do
not operate the unit until it was verified electronically by a qualified electrician. A case of error is:
- visible signs of damage on the unit
- the unit is not operating properly
- fume rising or crackling sounds from the unit
- visible signs of overheating
Maintenance and service which require access to live components inside the unit must be carried out by an
authorized electrician.
Warning: risk of electric shock!
How to avoid malfunctions or fire risk:
- Do not affect air circulation by covering the unit.
- Do not attach anything to the unit e.g. decoration items etc.
- Do not let your children play unattended with electrical equipment. Children cannot always perceive possible
dangers correctly.
7.1 Start-up
Connect LEDs and power supply as shown in fig. 2 to 4. Make sure that LED stripes are connected to
CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth CV and the correct power supply was chosen. At first, a test is performed on
the module starting on red.
Diagnostic LED: The modules are equipped with a small LED. For regular operation this LED will change every 5
seconds and flickers when data is transmitted.
7.2 Networking
The CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth is working on a radio frequency of 2.4 GHz. This frequency is often used
for other radio controls and wireless sensors. Very strict regulations ensure that operation free from interference
is possible.
The control is carried out using an app, which is available in Google Play Store. Only one device can be controlled
at a time. Networking between the devices is not possible.
The default pin for the connection is: 1234

7.3 Pin resetting
For resetting the pin you have to open the device. After that you can reset the pin with the jumper shown in fig. 5
To do this please proceed as follows:
1.Disconnect CHROMOFLEX
®
Pro Bluetooth from power supply respectively turn device off
2.Open the housing
3.Put the jumper to position „Pin Reset“ (pin 2+3)
4.Reconnect the power supply respectively turn device on
5.Wait until status LED go out (about 4s)
6.Disconnect power supply respectively turn it off
7.Set jumper back to „Normal“ operation (pin 1+2)
8.Close the housing again

the equipment to which they relate and must be handed to the user.
