MODEM ROUTER SGE-3G/GPRS
1.-DESCRIPCIÓN
El SGE-3G/GPRS es un dispositivo que permite
conectar una aplicación de forma local o redes a
través de internet, mediante enlaces con protocolo
IP.
El SGE-3G/GPRS puede conectarse a redes
UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication
System) en los casos en que en el lugar donde
deba instalarse disponga de tecnología. En caso
contrario, éste se conectará vía GPRS (General
Packet Radio Service), siempre y cuando la tarjeta
SIM instalada tenga los servicios necesarios
activados por el proveedor de la misma. Para
aquellas instalaciones que no puedan disponer de
IP fija, el SGE-3G/GPRS es compatible con el
servicio DYNDNS.
Dispone de 3 puertos de comunicaciones
totalmente independientes, Ethernet, RS-232 y RS-
485. Si no se utiliza el RS-232, este se puede
utilizar para el envío de mensajes SMS (Short
Message Service).

Antes de efectuar cualquier operación de
mantenimiento, modificación de conexiones,
reparación, etcétera, debe desconectarse el
aparato de toda fuente de alimentación. Cuando se sospeche
de un fallo de funcionamiento del equipo o en la protección del
mismo debe dejarse el equipo fuera de servicio.
Si se utiliza el equipo de forma distinta o fuera de los límites
especificados por el fabricante, la protección del mismo
puede verse comprometida y puede entrañar un riesgo para
la seguridad del usuario.
2.-INSTALACIÓN
Téngase en cuenta que con el equipo conectado, los
bornes pueden tener tensiones peligrosas al tacto.
Asimismo la apertura de cubiertas ó la eliminación
de elementos de seguridad puede dar acceso a partes
peligrosas al tacto. El equipo no debe ser utilizado hasta que
haya finalizado por completo su instalación.
El equipo debe conectarse a un circuito de
alimentación protegido con fusibles tipo gl (IEC 269)
ó tipo M, comprendido ente 0.5 y 2A. Deberá estar
provisto de un interruptor magnetotérmico o
dipositivo equivalente para desconectar el equipo
de la red de alimentación. El circuito de
alimentación del equipo se conectará con cable de
sección mínima de 1.5mm².

las guías para que queden
perfectamente sujetas.

3.-PUESTA EN MARCHA
Toda la configuración del Modem Router SGE-
3G/GPRS se realiza a través de la página WEB del
Modem Router, por lo que no será necesario ningún
software adicional para la puesta en marcha.
Si que será necesario para la configuración del
equipo, un ordenador con puerto Ethernet y un
cable de red del tipo cruzado. La IP por defecto del
concentrador es:
IP: 192.168.1.1
Mascara de red: 255.255.255.0
Para poder acceder al equipo a través de página
WEB tendrá que hacerlo por protocolo seguro de
web (HTTPS):
Acceso en el navegador: https://192.168.1.1
En la parte trasera del
equipo se coloca la tarjeta
SIM. Se debe de presionar
el botón de la ranura para
la extracción del soporte
de la tarjeta.
4.-FUNCIONAMIENTO
4.1.-LED INDICADORES DE ESTADO
El SGE-3G/GPRS, tiene 11 LED que indican el estado de
funcionamiento del SGE-3G/GPRS. Significado :

4.2.-COMUNICACIONES
4.2.a.- Puerto Ethernet
Para comunicar con el PC o por cualquier
dispositivo que disponga de este puerto de
comunicación. Mediante este puerto se puede
configurar el SGE-3G/GPRS (página WEB).
4.2.b.- Puerto RS-232
La configuración se realiza desde la página WEB
del equipo.
Si el puerto RS-232 esta desactivado, haciendo un
puente de una duración mínima de 3 segundos
entre los pines 4 y 5, este puede enviar mensajes
SMS al número de teléfono que se desee
configurado en la página WEB del equipo.
4.2.c.- Puerto RS-485
La configuración se realiza desde la página WEB
del equipo.

SGE-3G/GPRS MODEM ROUTER
1.-DESCRIPTION
The SGE-3G/GPRS is a device that enables
connecting an application locally or to networks
using Internet IP protocols.
The SGE-3G/GPRS can connect to UMTS
networks (Universal Mobile Telecommunication
System) if the technology is available in the place it
is going to be installed. Otherwise, it can connect
via GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) as long
as the provider of the installed SIM card has
activated the services required. The SGE-
3G/GPRS is DYNDNS compatible for installations
that may not have a fixed IP.
It has 3 fully independent communications ports:
Ethernet, RS-232 and RS-485. If the RS-232 is not
being used, it can be used for sending SMS (Short
Message Service).

Disconnect the unit from all power supply sources
before undertaking any form of maintenance,
modification of connections, repairs, etc. Remove
the unit from service if any operational faults in the unit or its
protection elements are suspected.
If the unit is used in a different manner or outside the
manufacturer's specified limits, its protection elements may be
compromised and user's safety may be at risk.
2.-INSTALLATION
Bear in mind that when the unit is connected, the
terminals may have voltage and so touching them
may be dangerous. Likewise, opening covers or
removing safety elements may expose parts that are dangerous
to touch while the unit is powered. Do not use the unit until it is
fully installed.
The unit must be connected to a power circuit that is
protected with gl (IEC 269) or M type fuses with a
rating of 0.5 to 2 A. It must be fitted with a circuit
breaker or equivalent device in order to be able to
disconnect the unit from the power supply mains.
The unit's power circuit must be connected with a
cable that has a minimum cross-section of 1.5mm².

3.-START-UP
The whole SGE-3G/GPRS Modem Router
configuration is done on the modem router web site,
so no additional software is needed for start-up.
However, a computer with an Ethernet port and a
crossover type network cable is necessary for
configuring the unit. The concentrator's default IP is:
IP: 192.168.1.1
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
The secure web protocol (HTTPS) must be used to
access the unit from the web site
Accessing with the browser: https://192.168.1.1
The SIM card is located on
the back of the unit. Press
the button on the groove to
extract the card support.
4.-OPERATION
4.1.-LED STATUS INDICATORS
The SGE-3G/GPRS has 11 LED that indicate the operating
status of the SGE-3G/GPRS. Meaning:

4.2.-COMMUNICATIONS
4.2.a.- Ethernet Port
This communication port is used for communicating
with the PC or any other device connected to it. This
port can be used to configure the SGE-3G/GPRS
(on the web site).
4.2.b.- RS-232 Port
The unit is configured on the web site.
If the RS-232 port is deactivated, SMS messages
can be sent to the telephone number that has to be
configured on the unit's web site by bridging pins 4
and 5 for at least 3 seconds.
4.2.c.- RS-485 Port
This port is configured on the unit's web site.
