Cirrus 3 Operating instructions

Troubleshooting
Cirrus 3 Iron steamer
My Cirrus 3 is making a strange noise –what can I do?
Pilo 2 Fabric shaver
My Pilo 2 stopped working –what to do?
If your Pilo 2 stops working, there are a few things worth going through to troubleshoot the
device.
Make sure to empty the fabric shaver successively as you use it –if there is a lot of lint and
pilling, this quickly gathers in between the metal protection cover and the razor blades.
Meaning the blades will only shove the lint around and around and not be able to fit new lint.
This will make the fabric shaver seem inefficient, not removing lint.
Remove the razor blades from the metal protection cover and clean both the blades and the
cover thoroughly.
Make sure to assemble the product correctly and in the suggested order. First, attach the
razorblades inside the metal protection cover –razor blades facing down. Then make sure the
razorblade unit and the rotation pin fit properly. Double-check that the rotor pin is straight and
does not look skew.
If the Pilo is not assembled in the recommended order, it might not work as efficiently as
supposed to.
Twist the cover and body of the Pilo in opposite directions to make sure both parts interlock.
You will hear a clicking sound. Make sure the two dots are aligned at the back of the product.
Then you will know the Pilo 2 is correctly assembled.
My Pilo 2 is suddenly running slower –what do I do?
It’s important to frequently remove leftover fuzz from the Pilo 2 Fabric Shaver. Please follow
these steps:
1. Make sure that your Pilo 2 is adequately charged (USB-cable included in the box).
2. Unscrew the shield ring by twisting it in the opposite direction of the “body” of the
device.

3. Empty the storage container by tilting it upside down and remove the last fuzz by using
a finger or the little brush that comes with the product.
4. Remove the metallic perforated mouthpiece by carefully lifting it. Please keep in mind
that the blades are razor-sharp.
5. Use the brush to clean the blades and blow away the last fuzz with your mouth.
6. Don’t forget to use the brush to clean the back of the shield and the perforated
mouthpiece. Threads and leftover lint can essentially slow down and compromise the
effectiveness of the Pilo No.2.
7. Reassemble the parts. The two small dots should be in line with each other –you will
also hear a click sound when the parts connect correctly.
Pilo 1 Fabric shaver
My Pilo 1 stopped working –what to do?
Trouble with your Pilo? Don't worry; you can do a couple of things yourself to troubleshoot. If
the problem remains after checking these things, don't hesitate to contact our customer
support and we will help you further!
Cleaning
A widespread issue with the Pilo is when lint gets stuck under the razor blades. If the Pilo isn't
adequately cleaned, the leftover fuzz can prevent the device from working. You can solve this
by opening the Pilo Fabric Shaver using the following steps:
•Unscrew the plastic shield ring from the device
•Use the brush stick to remove fuzz
•Remove the metallic perforated mouthpiece by unscrewing it carefully. Be careful; the
blades underneath are sharp
•To clean out excessive fuzz around the rotor, use the end of the brush stick to remove
the blade unit and push it straight upward
•Double check that there are no threads or leftover fuzz twirled around the rotor pin
•Also, clean the actual blades. Use the brush and/or blow away the fuzz

Charging
When the built-in battery is drained, the Pilo needs charging for at least 5 hours. Use the
included cord and plug it into the USB port on a computer, or use an adapter (the kind that
usually comes with a smartphone) in a power socket. Would you please let the Pilo charge for a
minimum of five hours between usage? A green diode lights up during charging, and it stays on
even when fully charged. Ensure that the green light is visible (if not, the Pilo or the cord may
be broken).

Power Outlet and Cord
Check that the cord is intact and fits the power outlet properly. Please see if the port is aligned
with the plastic of the device.
Button
Does the button work properly? It should never be stuck; if this is the case, the Pilo is broken

Leakage
If your steamer is leaking, try to locate the origin of the leakage. Is it coming from the
mouthpiece or the water tank, perhaps? If the water is coming straight from the tank, ensure
the little stopper/rubber plug has been properly attached. Also, please double-check so that the
tank is correctly connected to the steamer. There should not be a space/gap between the water
tank and the steamer. Is the leakage coming from somewhere else than the water tank? Don't
hesitate to get in touch with our customer support for further assistance.
Weird noise
Is there sometimes a weird sound coming from your steamer? This is normal, and it's just the
steamer working to heat the water inside the boiler.
No steam
If there's no steam coming out, there are a couple of things you can do for yourself to try to
rule out what might be the problem. Start with the water tank. At first, you could check that the
water tank contains enough water and fill up the water tank appropriately. Then you can try
removing the water tank and then putting it back in place again. If the water tank's not
attached correctly and there's a gap between the tank and the device, this may well be the
problem. If there's still no steam and you have access to a spare water tank (from another
steamer, maybe?), then please try another water tank to see if that's where the problem lies.
Is something wrong with the power supply? Check the power plug connection and ensure that
the socket functions the way it's supposed to.

Did you wait long enough for the steamer to heat up?
It takes about 25 seconds for the steamer to heat up and the orange/red light to go out and
turn green. Do not push the steam button before you see the green light.
Do I need to descale my steamer? Cirrus 2 has a coating that makes it resistant to limestone
and minerals residues, so there is no need to descale it too often. Although, if the trouble
remains and no steam comes, you could try to descale the steamer using vinegar. Please follow
our guidelines how to proceed with this. Also, please remember that we recommend using
distilled, deionized, filtered, or battery water in regions with hard water to prevent these kinds
of issues.
Still no steam?
If there's no steam coming out and the steamer doesn't get warm at all, don't hesitate to get in
touch with our customer support for further assistance.
My Cumulus steamer stopped working –what to do?
Sometimes you may experience issues with your steamer - here's a small guide on what you can
do to troubleshoot the product for yourself.
Leakage
If you ever experience that your steamer is leaking, please try to locate the origin of the water.
Is there water dripping from the handle?
If you experience a leaking steam handle, make sure that the handle has been properly screwed
on. Also, check the angle of the mouthpiece; it needs to be screwed on straight and not tilted in
any way. Still water leaking from the handle or mouthpiece? Don't hesitate to get in touch with
our customer support for further assistance.
Does the water tank leak?
If you experience leakage from the water tank, make sure that the plug has been properly
screwed on. If it is still leaking after this, then please get in touch with our customer support.
Is there dripping water coming from the steamer?
If there's leaking water coming from the actual steamer, please try to locate the origin on the
device. Note that the hole where the water tank is attached always gets filled with water and is
nothing to worry about. If the steamer is leaking an abnormal amount of water (i.e., from
underneath), don't hesitate to contact our customer support for further assistance.

No steam
Start by checking if there's something wrong with the power supply.
Make sure that the steamer has been switched on. Check the power plug connection and
ensure that the socket functions the way it's supposed to.
Does the steamer get warm without producing any steam?
This may result from limestone residues and minerals clogged in the machine. Try to descale
the steamer according to our guidelines. Here's a tutorial on how to descale the steamer:
Descale Cumulus and Stratus
If there's no steam coming out and the steamer doesn't heat up or get warm at all, please
contact our customer support for further assistance.
The on/off button doesn't light up
No light even though the steamer is plugged in? Make sure there's nothing wrong with the
power socket. Please contact our customer support if the light doesn't go on, and the steamer
won't start. If the light doesn't come on, but the steamer works like usual, then it's most likely
the diode that's given up. But feel free to contact our support department for further advice.
Steamer only works in one of two modes
If your steamer is only working in one mode, we recommend you try to descale the steamer
properly according to our guidelines. If the problem remains, don't hesitate to get in touch with
our customer support.
If you ever need spare parts or the steamer has cosmetic issues or damages, please get in touch
with us through the customer support email, and we will help you further!
