hand.Themotionofyourwristmakestherotor(oscillatingweightormass)turn,therebywindingup
themainspringofthewatchmovement.Theeverydayactivityoflifeissufficientinitselftowindup
anautomaticClaudeBernardwatchanditwillruncontinually,evenifitisremovedatnight.
However,ifnotwornforapproximately40hours,itwillstop.Tomakethewatchworkagain,turn
thecrownclockwiseabout20times.Nowsetthetimeandifpossiblethedate,etc.
Mechanicalwatchesaccuracy
Dependingonthemovement,thedailytoleranceofamechanicalwatchcanbeof30seconds.Ifyou
noticeabiggertolerancerate,youcanhaveyourwatchadjustedataservicecenterinyourcountry,
