WARNING: Identify whether underground cables
and/or pipes are present before installing the frame
kit ground stakes. Do not attempt to install the
frame kit during windy or stormy days.
ATTENTION: The Frame Kits for the 9' and 12'
tall storage bags and shelters include additional
16' straps (with ratchets) to use in place of the 10'
straps included with the anchor kits. The 10' straps
can be used as needed for other applications.

These instructions include helpful hints and important
information needed to safely assemble and attach the
kit. Please read these instructions before you begin.

The following list identifies the main tools needed to assemble and attach the kit components. Additional tools and
supports may be needed depending on the shelter and application.

ASSEMBLE THE FRAME KIT
You will need the following parts:
1" Frame Support Pipe (length determined by
shelter)
FA2071 Eyebolts
105575 Star Nuts for 1" Pipe
FAMF03B Fender Washers

Take a 1" diameter plain pipe and install one (1) star nut (#105575) in one end of the pipe. Use a hammer to tap
the star nut into the pipe end. Do not use a tool that can damage the threads in the center of the star nut.

ATTACH EYEBOLT ASSEMBLIES
Take one eyebolt assembly and attach it to the
storage bag (or shelter).

Locate the eyebolts, fender washers, and nuts and
assemble each as shown below.

NOTE: The remaining nuts and washers are used
when the eyebolt assemblies are attached to the
storage bag (or shelter).
Set the pipes and eyebolt assemblies in an
accessible place and continue by placing the storage
bag (or shelter) in the desired location.
Continue by attaching the eyebolt assemblies and
frame support pipes to the storage bag (or shelter).

Repeat Step 1 and attach all remaining eyebolt
assemblies to the storage bag (or shelter).

Take one 1" plain pipe and twist it onto one of the attached eyebolts.3.

NOTE: Hand-tighten the pipe until it is snug. Secure shelter material tightly between the washers.
Repeat the steps and attach the remaining frame support pipes.
With all supports attached to the storage bag (or shelter), place the frame pipes in position as shown in the
following photos and anchor the pipes in place using the anchor kits.

Consult the anchor kit installation information to properly attach and secure the anchor kit.
ATTENTION: Each Anchor Kit (#103599) contains four (4) individual anchor sets. Depending on the length of
your shelter, you may have anchor sets (ground stakes and ratchet/straps) that are not used.

Anchor Kit 103599
Installation Instructions
This anchor kit is not designed for larger shelters or for use in sand or on hard surfaces such as asphalt or
concrete. Installing ground stakes at each frame support is required for proper support of the shelter.
ATTENTION: Use the 16' straps (with ratchets) for the 9' and 12' tall storage bags/shelters.
STEP 1: Remove the protective plastic sleeve.
STEP 2: At each frame support pipe, measure at least
three feet (3') in the desired direction and twist a
ground stake into the ground.
STEP 3: Twist stake clockwise until triangular top
touches the ground.
STEP 4: Hook the attached S-Hook in the eye of the
eyebolt assembly.
STEP 5: Insert the loose end of long strap into the
ratchet and tighten to keep strap in place.
STEP 6: Hook the remaining S-Hook through the
triangular top of the ground stake and tighten the
ratchet.
NOTE: If the strap
buildup is too great
in the ratchet, loosen
the ratchet, remove
excess strap, and
retighten the ratchet.
DO NOT remove too
much strap.
STEP 7: Repeat the steps as needed to secure each
frame support pipe to a ground stake.
ATTENTION: DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN RATCHETS.
