Safety Advice “IMPORTANT”
•This heater is hot when in use. Toavoid burns, DO NOT let bare skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use handles
when moving this heater.
•All heaters have hot parts inside. DO NOT use it in areaswhere gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or
stored
•ALWAYS connect this heater directly to properly grounded outlets ONLY.
•NEVER use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
•NEVER use or locate this electric fire where it may come into contact with water i.e. bathroom, shower room,
kitchen.
•NEVER leave unsupervised children where the electric fire heater is left switched ON or is left unguarded.
•NEVER locate this electric fire beneath a fixed socket outlet.
•NEVER cover or obstruct the fan outlet, as this will cause the appliance to overheat.
•NEVER locate this electric fire close to combustible materials; i.e. curtains or similar products. Allow a minimum
of 3 feet around the electric fire heater.
•NEVER route the main power cable beneath carpet.
•NEVER use aerosols or similar materials close to the electric fire heater.
•NEVER use the electric fire heater to dry clothes or similar actions.
•NEVER cover the electric fire heater. This could result in overheating.
•NEVER insert or allow foreign objects to enter the ventilations or exhaust openings of this unit, as this may cause
electric shock, fire, or damage the heater.
•NEVER operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or
damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or call a certified technician for examination and or/repair
This guide is to be used to install, operate, and care for your new F series electric fire-stove.
Please read the instructions below before installation or use of this product. Failure to do
so could result in fire, electric shock or serious personal injury.
Keep this owner’s manual for future reference. If you sell or give this product to another
person, make sure this manual accompanies the product.

The electric fire MUST be disconnected from the main power supply before commencing cleaning or maintenance.
Use a suitable fireguard to protect both the infirm and young children who could come in contact with this heater.
•For Residential Indoor use only. Any commercial, public, or outdoor use of this product VOIDS all warranties.
•NEVER modify this product. This could result in personal injury or property damage and VOIDS all warranties.
•This product is not intended to be used as a primary heat source. It is for supplemental heat only.
•Use this heater ONLY on a 120V AC 15-Amp grounded circuit. NEVER overload the circuit. If this heater trips
the circuit breaker, unplug all other appliances on the same circuit before the next use. Avoid plugging other
appliances into the same circuit.
•NEVER plug this heater into an outlet that is old, cracked, or has any loose wires or connections. Plugging this
heater into a faulty outlet could result in the outlet overheating or catching fire.
•The power cord supplied with this product has 3-prongs. If a 3-slot receptacle is not available, an adapter MUST
be used and properly grounded to the outlet box. (See Fig 1 below.)

INSTALLATION AND ASSEMBLY
STEP 1: Carefully turn the Fire-stove Heater (A) upside
down and lay it on a clean soft surface.
STEP 2: Align the holes in the Leg (B) with the holes in the
corner of the stove frame as shown.
STEP 3: Thread four M4x12mm Screws (C) through the holes in
the leg and into the stove frame.
STEP 4: Partially tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Repeat Steps 2 & 3 for the other 3 legs (B).
STEP 5: Check the alignment and tighten all (16) screws.
WARNING
ALWAYS ensure the unit is unplugged before beginning assembly! NEVER move or clean the
heater while it is plugged in.

ALWAYS attach the feet before using! NEVER plug in or operate this unit if the feet are not
securely attached!

Operating the Electric Fire Stove
POWER
Make sure the ON/OFF switch, located on the front panel, is in the OFF position. Plug the power cord into a
120Volt 15 Amp grounded outlet (see “Safety Advice – Important” section above). Make sure the outlet is in
good condition and the plug is not loose. NEVER exceed the maximum amperage for the circuit. DO NOT plug
other appliances into the same circuit.
TEMPERATURE LIMITING CONTROL
This fire-stove heater is equipped with a Temperature Limiting Safety device. Should the heater reach an unsafe
temperature (239°F / 115°C), the heater will automatically turn OFF. To reset the heater, follow these steps:
STEP 1: Unplug the power cord from the outlet.
STEP 2: Turn the ON/OFF switch on the CONTROL PANEL to OFF.
STEP 3: Wait 15 minutes. While waiting, inspect the unit to make sure no vents are blocked or clogged with dust
or lint. If they are, use a vacuum to clean the vent areas.
STEP 4: With the POWER switch still in the OFF position, plug the power cord back into the outlet.
STEP 5: Switch the ON/OFF switch on the CONTROL PANEL to the ON position. If the heater
automatically turns OFF again, IMMEDIATELY UNPLUG THE HEATER. Have the outlets, wiring, and breaker
box inspected by a professional and make the necessary repairs before using the heater.
METHODS OF OPERTATION
This heater can be operated by the CONTROL PANEL, located on the front panel of the heater, or by the
battery-powered REMOTE CONTROL
REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS
FUNCTION
Press once → Flame effect and indicator turn on.
Press again → Power and all functions turn off.
NOTE: The power must be turned on for the flame effect to work.
Press to cycle the flame brightness from High to Low & then vice versa. There are 6
brightness settings.
Press the POWER button to turn off the flame effect.
Note: The log bed effect automatically varies between light and dark to simulate real
embers & cannot be adjusted.
Press once → Small indicator lights up. Low heat turns on and blows warm air.
Press again → Large indicator lights up. High heat turns on and blows hot air.
Press again → The heater turn off. The fan blows cool air to allow the infrared heater
to cool down, then the blower turns off.
Press once → ½ h light turns on. Timer is set to ½ hour.
Press again → 1h light turns on. Timer is set to 1 hour.
Press until desired setting is reached → Timer setting increases by ½ hour up to 7½ hr
then cycles back to 0, then ½ hour, etc. Examples: 3 hours = 2h +1h ; 7½ hours = 4h
+2h +1h +½h
REMOTE CONTROL BUTTONS
When the heat function is used for the first time, a slight odor may be present. This is normal
& should not occur again unless the heater is not used for an extended period of time.

CONTROL PANEL FUNCTIONS
REMOTE CONTROL INFORMATION
The Remote Control is delivered with a small plastic strip between the battery and electrical contacts in the
remote. This strip MUST be removed or the remote control will NOT work. (See Fig 2 below.)
To install or replace the battery, depress the button on the side to battery case to allow it to slide out. Position the
battery in this case and slide the case back into the remote. (See Fig 3 below.)
FUNCTION
Press once → Flame effect and indicator turn on.
Press again → Power and all functions turn off.
Press “+”→ ½ h light turns on. Timer is set to ½ hour.
Press again → 1h light turns on. Timer is set to 1 hour.
Press until desired setting is reached → Timer setting increases by ½ hour up
to 7½ h. Examples: 3 hours = 2h +1h ; 7½ hours = 4h +2h +1h +½h
Press “-“ → Timer decreases by ½ hour until desired setting is reached or until
timer turns off.
Press "+" → Flame effect gets brighter. Press again until desired brightness
is reached.
Press "-" → Flame effect gets dimmer. Press again until desired brightness
is reached.
Press once → Small indicator lights up. Low heat turns on and blows
warm air.
Press again → Large indicator lights up. High heat turns on and blows
hot air.
Press again→ Heater turn off. The fan blows cool air to allow the infrared
heater to cool down, then the blower turns off.

HEATER
CONTROLS
The heater must be ON either LOW or HIGH heat for the thermostat to
operate. The heat output is controlled by the Thermostat Control Knob.
Initially set the Thermostat Control Knob to the maximum position. When
the room reaches the desired temperature, reduce the setting by slowly
turning the thermostat knob counter-clockwise until the heater turns off.
The heater will then maintain the room temperature at that set
temperature level.
POWER
"+" TIMER "-"
To improve operation of the remote control, point it directly at the front of the fire-stove.
DO NOT press the buttons too quickly –Allow the unit time to respond to each command.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
ITEM METHOD/DON'TS
Buff using a soft cloth, slightly dampened with a citrus oil based cleaner.
DO NOT use brass polish or household cleaners, as these products will damage the metal
trim.
If the unit had been working, but then turned off by itself, the temperature limiting
control must be reset. Please see instructions on Page 6 .
Use a good quality glass cleaner and dry thoroughly with a paper towel or lint-free cloth.
NEVER use abrasive cleansers, liquid sprays, or any cleaner that could scratch the surface.
Use a vacuum or duster to remove dust and dirt from the heater and vent areas.
Clean the exterior of the fireplace with a slightly damp cloth or duster.
The fan motors are lubricated at the factory and will not require lubrication for the life of
the product.
Electrical components are integrated in the fireplace and are not serviceable by the
consumer.
Storage Store heater in a clean dry place when not in use.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Make sure the power cord is plugged into a working AC electrical outlet.
Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse.
If the unit had been working, but then turned off by itself, the temperature limiting control
must be reset. Please see instructions on Page 6 .
The control panel doesn’t work. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the control panel is turned on.
The flame effect does not work. Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the control panel is turned on.
The flame effect does not turn off
when depressing the flame button.
The flame effect stays on until the ON/OFF switch is turned off.
Ensure the heater ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
Check that the thermostat control is not set in a very low position. If it is, the heater will
not turn on.
Hot air does not blow when the
heater is first turned on.
This unit is equipped with infrared heaters. When the heater is first turned on, the fan
blows cool air for about 10 seconds as these infrared heaters heat up and it blows cool air
for about 10 secsonds when the heater is turned off. This is required to prevent
overheating of the infrared heating device and is normal.
Make sure the battery is properly installed and the plastic tab is removed.
Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the control panel is turned on. The remote control will
not work unless the ON/OFF switch on the control panel is turned on.
Remove objects that may be in the way. The remote control must be pointed at the
receiver in the center of the front panel.
Don’t press the remote control buttons too quickly. Allow time for the unit to respond to
the commands.
The power cord or the outlet cover is
hot.
Turn the heater off immediately. Wait for the cord to cool and unplug the heater. See the
warnings on Page 3 for possible causes. Call an electrician to examine your home’s wiring.
Make sure the heater is turned on. The thermostat will not work unless the heater is
turned on.
Make sure the thermostat is not set too low. If the thermostat is set lower than room
temperature, the heater will turn off.
If the thermostat was overridden by the heater button, press the temp button to restart
the thermostat.
There is no power to the unit.
The heater does not work
The remote control does not work.
The thermostat (TEMP button) does
not work.
ALWAYS turn the heater OFF and unplug the power cord from the outlet prior to
maintenance or cleaning of this product.
