Transmit Mode (TX) is used to send audio from a device such as an in-flight TV or any audio device with a 3.5mm headphone socket to
your wireless Bluetooth headphones. Receive Mode (RX) is used to receive Bluetooth audio from any device such as a phone or tablet
and connect it to your AUX-IN port of any stereo such as a car or soundbar that does not have Bluetooth.
To switch your Comsol device On or Off at any time hold the centre button for 2 seconds.
1. First time connection in Transmit mode (TX)
Ensure your Comsol device is set to TX mode. Before switching On, ensure your Wireless headphones’ previous connection (eg Phone or

quickly indicating it is looking automatically for its first connection. On your wireless headphones you will now initiate pairing by pressing
your Bluetooth Pair button or removing your Pod style headphones from their case. The device will flash Red slowly when pairing is
complete. Once connected plug the jack in the socket on the entertainment system and use that device to control your desired volume.
2. Pair a second set of wireless headphones (TX)
With your primary connection active and your device on, you can connect a second pair of headphones to the same audio stream by

indicating Pairing Mode is active. As before press the Bluetooth Pair or remove your Pod style headphones from their case. When the
dual connection is established your Comsol unit will now show a steady Red light indicating that dual pairing is complete. If at anytime
you wish to return to using your headphones with your phone or tablet etc then simply turn off your Comsol device and re-connect your

Connect your device to the AUX-IN socket on your playback device and ensure the playback device has its “Source” set to “AUX-IN”.

4. Clear the connection list
At anytime you can clear the connection list and reset your Comsol device to factory defaults. Turn on your Comsol device and press the
Power button 4 times quickly. Your device will flash intermittently Red and Blue to indicate list is clear. You must now press and hold the

Operation
Trouble Shooting
If your Comsol device continues to flash Red quickly and does not pair, then your headphones or host device may not be in ”Pair”
mode. Ensure your headphones or host device are switched on, charged and in “Pair” mode.
If your Comsol device flashes Red slowly to indicate successful pairing but you get no audio to your headphones, check to see if it
has paired to a different nearby headphones or speaker by mistake. (This can happen if a nearby device is in auto-pairing mode).
If you hear no sound through your headphones, your source maybe on pause or its volume turned down. Press the Power button to
resume play or turn up the volume until audio is heard.
If there is no response from your Comsol device and it appears to be frozen, connecting to a charging source may fix this problem.
