Warranty Policy
ComtechEFDataproductsarewarrantedagainstdefectsinmaterialandworkmanship
foraspecificperiodfromthedateofshipment,andthisperiodvariesbyproduct.In
mostcases,thewarrantyperiodistwoyears.Duringthewarrantyperiod,ComtechEF
Datawill,atitsoption,repairorreplaceproductsthatprovetobedefective.Repairsare
warrantedfortheremainderoftheoriginalwarrantyora90dayextendedwarranty,
whicheverislonger.ContactComtechEFDataforthewarrantyperiodspecifictothe
productpurchased.
Forequipmentunderwarranty,theownerisresponsibleforfreighttoComtechEFData
andallrelatedcustoms,taxes,tariffs,insurance,etc.ComtechEFDataisresponsiblefor
thefreightchargesonlyforreturnoftheequipmentfromthefactorytotheowner.
ComtechEFDatawillreturntheequipmentbythesamemethod(i.e.,Air,Express,
Surface)astheequipmentwassenttoComtechEFData.
AllequipmentreturnedforwarrantyrepairmusthaveavalidRMAnumberissuedprior
toreturnandbemarkedclearlyonthereturnpackaging.ComtechEFDatastrongly
recommendsallequipmentbereturnedinitsoriginalpackaging.
ComtechEFDataCorporation’sobligationsunderthiswarrantyarelimitedtorepairor
replacementoffailedparts,andthereturnshipmenttothebuyeroftherepairedor
replacedparts.
Limitations of Warranty
Thewarrantydoesnotapplytoanypartofaproductthathasbeeninstalled,altered,
repaired,ormisusedinanywaythat,intheopinionofComtechEFDataCorporation,
wouldaffectthereliabilityordetractsfromtheperformanceofanypartoftheproduct,
orisdamagedastheresultofuseinawayorwithequipmentthathadnotbeen
previouslyapprovedbyComtechEFDataCorporation.
Thewarrantydoesnotapplytoanyproductorpartsthereofwheretheserialnumberorthe
serialnumberofanyofitspartshasbeenaltered,defaced,orremoved.

Thewarrantydoesnotcoveranylaborinvolvedintheremovalandorreinstallationof
warrantedequipmentorpartsonsite,oranylaborrequiredtodiagnosethenecessity
forrepairorreplacement.

Afixedchargeestablishedforeachproductwillbeimposedforallequipmentreturned
forwarrantyrepairwhereComtechEFDataCorporationcannotidentifythecauseofthe
reportedfailure.
Exclusive Remedies
ComtechEFDataCorporation’swarranty,asstatedisinlieuofallotherwarranties,
expressed,implied,orstatutory,includingthoseofmerchantabilityandfitnessfora
particularpurpose.Thebuyershallpassontoanypurchaser,lessee,orotheruserof
ComtechEFDataCorporation’sproducts,theaforementionedwarranty,andshall
indemnifyandholdharmlessComtechEFDataCorporationfromanyclaimsorliability
