1. Download and install the “Connect SmartHome or Laser SmartHome App by searching for it from the Google Play Store or
Apple App Store.
2. The App is also available by scanning the QR code below, using a QR code scanner in your smart phone.

4. DOWNLOADING THE APP
1. The batteries inside the camera may not be fully charged. Please charge approx 8-10 hours using the Solar Panel before first use.
2. Install the Solar Panel in an area where you are able to get strong direct sunlight for most of the day.
3. The built-in rechargeable battery and solar panel can provide non-stop power once installed. You can also use a 12V 2A power
adapter (not included) plugged into (7).

5. WI-FI SET UP
Before you start the Wi-Fi configuration, please note below:
1. The camera only works on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks (no 5GHz support)
2. Press the ON/OFF button (8). The LED (1) will turn on and the Indicator Light (5) will start to Blink.
Note: If the Indicator Light does not blink press and hold the RESET button (10) for approx 5 seconds and the Indicator Light should blink RED.
6. RUNNING A TEST
After set up, tap on the live view window in the app for a test. Then take your Floodlight Camera outside to the installation spot and run a test
there. Make sure the installation spot is covered by a strong 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal.
Note: If the video quality from the Floodlight Camera outside is not as good as it was indoors, you may need to move your router closer to the
installation spot, or invest in a Wi-Fi extender.

1. The Device is not Connecting to App
Please check your Wifi username and password are correct and you are only using 2.4Ghz Wifi
connections as the 5Ghz band is not supported.
2. No Power When Using Solar Panel
Make sure the device has approx 30% power before using with Solar Panel. With strong direct
sunlight the Solar Panel will recharge the battery approx 5% every hour while also
powering the camera.
3. Micro SD Card is Not Recognised
Make sure the USB or Micro SD Card is 32gb or less. Check USB or Micro SD Card has been
formatted to the FAT32 or exFAT file system. If not please format on a Windows based computer.
4. What happens when the SD card is full?
The camera will automatically overwrite the oldest footage.
TROUBLESHOOTING
5. Why does the camera lose the Wi-Fi connection?
Please check the network connection. You may need to move the router closer or invest
in a Wi-Fi extender.
6. What’s the capacity of the Battery?
The camera has 4 x 18650 batteries with 12000mAh capacity.
7. What is the viewing angle of the camera?
The camera has a wide angle view of 120 degrees.
