For Android version 10 or above
please note
5
In March 2020, the official Android system released the relevant
security patch to solve the problem:the early version of Android
10 cannot correctly request USB device permissions. If you have
not installed the patch, it may cause a black screen while using
our APP. We strongly recommend that you install the patch.
In addition, the App which is available on Google Play cannot be
compatible with early versions of Android 10 due to the API level
restrictions on all uploaded Apps in Google store.
Therefore, If the Tinyscope APP cannot be used normally, and
you are not sure whether the patch has been installed, please
refer to the following two methods to solve the problem.
Method 1
Download the Tinyscope app from Google Play, connect the USB
cable, select USB mode, update App to Android 10 compatible
version using the window prompt after you connect. After
updating the app can be used normally.
Method 2
Using a browser to download the compatible version of the APP
directly from our TinyScope official website .( https://www.tiny-
scope.com/downloads ); Click "Download for Android" to
download and install the APK.

Open the TinyScope App on iPhone; select the
interface for the microscope camera, and then
the view of TinyScope CAM displays in real time.
04
On setting page of the microscope, you can select
different resolution options.
05
Connect TinyScope CAM with WIFI module.

Instructions
Cautions

The thickness of the glass bottom in the center of the petri dish is
0.15-0.20mm. The sample should be as close to the bottom as possible
when it is placed in the groove. The observation depth of field of the micro-
scope camera is 0-0.15mm above the glass surface of the petri dish.
Use the dropper to pick up the liquid sample and squeeze it
out into the middle of the center groove of the petri dish. If the
sample contains any solid material, try to make sure they are
situated close to the glass bottom of the dish.
If the sample is a living organism (such as an insect, etc.),
please keep the sample as settled as possible. After placing
the sample in the groove, cover with the sheet cover to prevent
the sample from moving out of focal range. When observing
transparent objects or objects with lighter colors, we recom-
mend that you use a black sheet cover. When observing
darker objects, you should use a white sheet cover to enhance
the contrast.
If you are observing Anaerobes, you must seal the lid of the
petri dish, Aiming the centre of groove to the camera lens,-
place the petri dish over the TinyScope CAM for observing.
The magnetic cover plate is not needed when viewing a petri
dish sample. If the contrast is not ideal for observation of the
sample, please move to a darker area to observe.
The petri dish can be washed and reused. Please clean it
carefully to avoid breaking the glass bottom. Keep the petri
dish clean and dry. Do not use bathroom tissue to clean the
glass, please use the supplied lens cloth for wiping and clean-
ing the glass.

The two opposite sides of magnetic cover plate are bright field
side and dark field side, respectively.
Choose the dark field side-the black side when observing with
a liquid sampler, while choose the bright field side-the white
side when observing biological slides.
Observe Biological Slides
Take the magnetic cover plate off from the right
side of TinyScopeCAM;

Observe objects with rugged surface (insects, flowers,
etc.). You can adjust the distance between the lens and
the object by slightly moving the product towards or a
way from the object.
Multiple Working Modes
When observing soft or humid surface objects (such as
skin, towels, ice cubes, etc.), you can add a clean cover
slide (0.17mm thick) between the lens and the object to
be observed, and the cover slide can be purchased by
yourself. (Pay attention to the risk of glass breaking)
Use in dark field illumination mode to observe translucent
liquid;
Use bright field illumination or direct observation when
the object in the liquid is completely opaque.
The camera software on PC only has the photographing
function. If you need to use time-lapse photography on
the PC, please download the camera software yourself.
