INSTALLATION
1) Place the machine on a firm flat surface
2) Out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources
3) Allow an 80-mm gap at the rear of the machine and 20 mm at the sides
4) Direct access to a Potable water supply should be within 3 meters
5) The water pressure should be between 0.1 MPA and 0.6 MPA, 0.3-0.4 MPA ideal
6) Follow local plumbing guidelines to connect a new machine to the building water supply
7) Or use the already fitted water supply pipe if replacing an existing machine
8) Connect the flexible plastic pipe to the water in connection on the rear of the machine
9) The power supply should be within three meters
10) Connect the power and turn on the power to the machine.
11) The machine power switch and hot water switch are located at the rear of the machine
12) The machine display screen will come on
13) Follow the screen instructions to flush the hot water first, for 5 liters through the machine
14) Flush the cold water second, for 5 liters through the machine
15) The machine will start to heat and chill the water, make sure the hot water switch is on
16) Hot water will heat rapidly. Cold water takes longer to reach temperature.
The machine is supplied with 3 meters of ¼ inch water pipe, a ½ inch to ¼ inch adaptor to
connect the water pipe to a mains water fitting or leak detection valve, a C Clip to lock the water
pipe in the back of the machine, a pipe reducer ¼ inch to 5/16 inch if connecting to an existing
water pipe, and a UV lamp release key.

SERVICE
1) Every six months the filter needs changing
2) Every twelve months the UV lamp and the filter needs changing
3) The operation is very simple
4) There is a video on the COOLERSMART web site that shows you how to change both parts
5) Every six months COOLERSMART will automatically send you the parts to carry out the
service
6) The machine display will also tell you when it is time to carry out the service
7) Remove the machine top cover by gripping at the rear and lifting toward you
8) Locate the filter and twist anti clockwise to release and lift out of the machine
9) Replace with a new filter and twist clockwise to lock into position
10) Locate the UV lamp, release the red locking tab and turn anti clock wise and then pull
upward
11) Replace the lamp and twist clockwise until the red tab locks into place
12) Go into the machine program to reset the filter timer and the UV timer
13) Replace the top cover
Remove the top cover. Locate the filter. Twist anti clockwise to release. Remove the filter and
replace with a new one. Twist clockwise to lock back into place.
Use the supplied tool to release the red locking tab. Twist clockwise until stops and pull upward to
remove from the machine

MACHINE OPERATION
After connecting the machine to water and power turn on only the power switch at the rear of the
machine and flush 5 liters of hot water and then 5 liters of cold water to waste. Then turn on the
hot water switch at the rear of the machine and the screen will ask you to flush some hot water
again to confirm the hot tank is full of water before the heater will turn on.
The first time the machine is powered up it will first display the Logo screen and then go to the set
language screen. Select English.
After selecting the language, the machine needs to be filled with water and flushed
Next the machine will carry out a function test for the UV system before going to ready screen

MACHINE OPERATION: GETTING HOT WATER
1) The machine will be shipped with the Child Lock facility on by default.
2) To get hot water first select
3) The hold the hot dispense button for 3 seconds
4) Hot water will start to flow
5) To stop the hot water flow, push again or any button on the screen to stop the water
6) To get one cup of hot water as a measured shot
7) Press this button and then this button and the machine will dispense for 8 seconds
Caution Hot Water Do Not Allow Unsupervised Children Use the Machine

MACHINE OPERATION: EXTRA HOT WATER
1) The machine can produce Extra Hot water
2) Touch this button for 0.5 seconds
3) If the hot water temperature can go higher it will display this screen
4) When the temperature is at maximum or has finished re-heating it will display this screen
5) Hot water can now be obtained using the button and then the button

MACHINE OPERATION: GETTING COLD WATER
1) First touch button and cold water will dispense continually until you stop the flow
2) Touch any button to the screen to stop the cold-water flow
3) To get one glass of water as a measured shot.
4) Press this button and then this button
5) The machine will dispense one glass of water for 8 seconds.
6) For Ambient water push this button.
7) The machine is preset to deliver 180 ml of warm water at 30C

MACHINE OPERATION: INTERFACE MENU SETTINGS
1) To gain access to the interface menu settings push this button
2) The following options can be changed in the interface settings
3) Temperature, water volume, energy saving mode, time and date, language, button sound, UV
time reset, Filter time reset, Factory reset
4) Once you gain access to the interface press to scroll through the sub menus
5) Then press this button to gain access to the option or sub menu you wish to change
6) The menu screens will guide you through the process to change a setting.
7) The first Menu is temperature scroll through the options using this button

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO SET THE TEMPERATURE
1) The machine comes set at cold water at 5C and hot water at 90C
2) To make the water colder or warmer follow these instructions
3) First press this button to gain access to the program
4) The temperature setting sub menu will be available
5) Then press this button again access to the temperature sub menu
6) The temperature setting for Extra Hot, Hot, Cold, and Ambient water are now available
7) Use this button to scroll across to the option you wish to change
8) The current temperature setting will be shown.
9) Use this button to set the temperature lower
10) Use this button to set the temperature higher
11) Press this to lock the change into memory and the screen will say OK
12) Now press this to come out of the Interface Setting Menu Screen
13) Screen will reset to the Home Screen automatically after 5 seconds’ inactivity

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO SET THE ONE CUP OR GLASS QUANTITY
1) The machine will come factory set at 8 seconds on time for hot and cold water
2) It is possible to increase or decrease this amount separately for each drink type
3) For example, it is possible to have 180 ml for hot water and 1000 ml for cold water by time
4) To achieve this, you will need the cup or carafe you wish to fill
5) First press this button to gain access to the program
6) Use this button to scroll across to Qty (Quantity)
7) Now press this button to gain access to the Qty sub menu
8) Use this button to scroll across to either hot, or cold water
9) Once the option you wish to change is selected place the cup or carafe
10) Use this button to start the flow of water.
11) Push this button again to stop the flow of water once it has reached the right level
12) Ambient water level can be changed by setting the level in ml, not in time
13) Now press this button to lock the timing into memory. The display will say OK.

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO SET THE DATE & TIME
1) The machine should come with the correct date and time set
2) Should you need to adjust either the date or time
3) First press this button to gain access to the program
4) Use this button to scroll across to calendar here you can adjust both options
5) Then press this button to gain access to the sub menu
6) Use this button to scroll through the date and time options
7) Press this button or this button to change the date or time or time format
8) Now press this button to lock the time or date into memory. The display will say OK.

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO SET POWER SAVING
1) The machine will come with the Power Saving mode off
2) Power Saving has two options. Sleep Mode and a Power Off & On timer
3) Sleep mode can be set to come on 1,2,3, or 4 hours after the last person used the machine
4) Power Off & On can be set like a central heating timer to activate at a time you choose
5) In sleep mode, the machine uses less power but keeps the water cold
6) In Power, Off & On the machine only powers the display not the temperature
7) First press this button to gain access to the program
8) Use this button to scroll across to Power
9) Then press this button to gain access to the sub menu
10) Use this button to scroll between Sleep Mode and Power Off & On
11) Press this button or this button to change the setting
12) Then press this button to lock the changes into memory

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO SET THE CHILD LOCK
1) COOLERSMART recommend that the Child Lock is not turned off
2) First press this button to gain access to the program
3) Use this button to scroll across to Child Lock
4) Then press this button to gain access to the sub menu
5) Use this button to choose Child Lock off or on
6) Then press this button to confirm your choice
Please be aware that with the Child Lock off there is a risk that users could dispense very hot
water accidently and scald themselves. COOLERSMART deliver the machine with the Child Lock on
and strongly advise that you do not turn the Child Lock off. Do not allow unsupervised children
to use the machine.

MACHINE OPERATION: HOW TO RESET THE FILTER & UV TIMER
1) The machine counts down the days until the Filter or UV needs to be changed
2) When you change the filter or UV the day counter needs to be reset
3) First press this button to gain access to the program
4) Use this button to scroll across to UV/Filter Replacement
5) Then press this button to gain access to the sub menu
6) Every 6 month the filter needs to be reset, and at 12 months the filter & UV reset
7) Then press this button for each component and the screen will reset the day count
8) 360 days for the UV and 180 days for the filter
