•There are two switches on the back. One is ON/OFF and POWER. Another is MODE.
•Be sure the switch is in the "ON" position for the light to work properly.
•Test in the dark - the unit does not turn on during the day or when in lit areas.
•Arrange the chain lights as desired.
•Use the ‘Mode’button to switch between the 8 display modes (1. Combination 2. In wave 3. Sequential 4.
Slow Glow 5. Chasing/Flash 6. Slow Fade 7. Twinkle/Flash 8. Steady on).
MAINTENANCE
•Clean with a soft damp cloth.
•Do NOT use abrasives or solvents.
•Do NOT disassemble or attempt to repair the solar marker housing other than to replace the rechargeable
battery.
•Clean regularly as a build up of dirt on the solar panel will reduce performance.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
•Requires 1x AA Ni-MH 600MAH rechargeable battery.
•Turn the switch to OFF.
•Unscrew the 4 screws and remove the bottom plate from the control box very carefully as internal wires will
still be joining the two pieces –take care not to pull hard as the connection will break.
•Observe correct polarity when inserting replacement battery.
BATTERIES
Keep batteries away from children and pets.
•Do not mix used and new batteries.
•Remove the batteries if left for long periods.
•Never dispose of batteries in a fire.
•Battery disposal, spent or expired batteries must be properly disposed of and recycled in compliance

•Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal instructions.
DISPOSAL
•Dispose of all packaging, paper, cartons and plastic, plastic bags in accordance with your local
recycling regulations.
•At the end of the product’s lifespan please dispose of it at an authorised household WEEE waste
recycling centre.
