3. Placing the ice.
Pla e the ri e in the pan evenly at the same level as illustrated in Fig. 3.

6. Function of the heating p ese vation unit
The temperature of the ri e in the ooker will automati ally be kept within the range
60° – 80°C. Below this point, the pilot lamp will begin to fli ker, indi ating that the
automati heat preservation unit has been set to work. If heat preservation is not
ne essary, pull the plug out of the power so ket.
5. Cooking ice.
Insert the wire plug, first, into the input so ket of the ooker. Then put another plug in
the power so ket and swit h on. At this time, the pilot lamp will light up showing that
the heat preservation unit is working. But the ri e ooking pro ess has not begun yet.
The white swit h button must be pressed down to set the ooker in operation. When
the ri e is well boiled, the swit h button will automati ally release and the pilot lamp
will go out. This signalises that the ri e has been ooked. Keep the lid on for 10 more
minutes and the ri e will get thoroughly ooked.

4. Placing the pan.
Pla e the pan inside the ooker and move it around so as to make it to tou h losely
with the heating plate. (See Fig. 4)

3. To protect against electrical shock, o not immerse cor or plug in water or
other liqui .
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is use by or near chil ren.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use an before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a amage cor or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been amage in any manner. Return appliance
to the nearest authorize service facility for examination, repair or a justment.
7. The use of accessory attachment is not recommen e by the appliance
manufacturer. It may cause injuries.
8. Do not use in out oors.
9. Do not let cor hang over e ge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heate oven.
11. Extreme caution must be use when moving an appliance containing hot oil or
other hot liqui s.
12. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cor into the wall outlet. To
isconnect, turn any control to "OFF", then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance for other than inten e use.

This Rice Cooke is equipped with a pe manent magnetic cont olling system. It is
good looking in design, exquisite and solid in const uction and easy to cont ol with
low powe consumption and excellent insulation p ope ties.
This cooke has tempe atu e p otection.
1. Cleaning and putting the ice into the pan.
After leaning the ri e in another ontainer, put it into the pan. Be areful not to wash
the ri e dire tly in the pan. Otherwise the pan may deform by bumping prejudi ial to
the performan e of the ooker. (See Fig. 1)
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2. Wate and ma ks on the pan.
The ratio of 1 1/2 ups of water to 1 up of ri e is preferable. The marks on the left are
graduated by the litre. For example, pour water into the pan up to mark 0.8 for 0.8 litre
of ri e. The marks on the right are graduated by the up. For example, pour water into
the pan up to the mark 4 for 4 ups of ri e. But both ways are not absolute be ause
various kinds of ri e are different in absorbing water. (See Fig. 2)

USER MAINTENANCE
1. Prevent the bottom and inside of the pan as well as the heating plate from being
bumped. Keep them lean. No water drop, dust, ri e grain or any other foreign matter
should be allowed to remain between the bottom of the pan and the surfa e of the
heating plate; otherwise the ooker’s performan e will be affe ted, and in serious ase,
its parts or elements burnt out. (See Fig. 5)
2. Do not in line or slant the pan (see Fig. 6); otherwise its bottom will not be in full onta t
with the heating plate and some parts or elements will be burnt out. (Fig. 6)
3. Do not immerse the ooker into water. Clean it with a pie e of soft and damp loth
when soiled. As for the pan’s leaning, it an be washed with water.
4. Do not use the ooker to boil a id or alkaline foodstuff. Do not keep the ooker in
orrosive gases or damp pla e.
5. Do not use the ooker on or near ombustibles.
6. Any other servi ing should be performed by an authorized servi e representative.
7. This produ t is designed for household or indoor use only.
