Instructions For Use
Before use
A. Charging Your Wine Opener
The batteries in your wine opener have not been fully charged. Before using,
the batteries must be charged until all three blue lights are illuminated.
With a full charge, your wine opener will open around 50 bottles of wine.
Your wine opener will be fully charged in approximately 2.5 hours.
N.B. To charge the main unit, insert the Micro USB end of charging lead
into the charging port at the back of the main unit. Plug the USB end
directly into the adapter plug and then into a mains supply outlet.
Battery Life Indicator Lights
The indicator lights will flash blue, when the battery is being charged. When
all three lights are illuminated, this means the battery is fully charged and
is then ready to use. As the battery starts to run down, the indicator lights
will turn off. The battery will need to be recharged when the last indicator
light is flashing. If the battery has completely run down on the unit, it will
not operate.
N.B: The Wine Opener cannot be used while it is plugged in and charging.
B. Foil Cutter
For your convenience, this unit has a foil cutter, which is stored in the base
of the unit. Before removing the cork, you must remove any foil from the
bottle. Attach the foil cutter to the top of the wine bottle. Keep your hand
on the lower part of the bottle and turn the foil cutter in a twisting motion
to remove the foil. The top part of the cork surface will now be exposed.
CAUTION: The blade on the foil cutter is sharp. Please keep fingers away
from the cutter’s sharp edges.
C. To Operate Your Wine Opener
1. Place your bottle of wine on a flat surface and hold the bottle firmly
with one hand. N.B The Wine Opener can be used to remove natural or
synthetic corks.
2. Place the Wine Opener on top of the wine bottle making sure that it
remains as straight/upright as possible at all times. If you hold the Wine
Opener at an angle to the bottle, it will not remove the cork properly.
3. Hold the Wine Opener firmly and gently push down on the top of
the bottle. The corkscrew will start automatically and will turn in
an anticlockwise direction to gradually remove the cork. When the
mechanism has stopped, the cork has been fully removed.

9
4. Lift the Wine Opener up and away from the bottle. The corkscrew will
then automatically turn in a clockwise position to release the cork.
N.B: If the cork becomes stuck and isn’t removed automatically, there
is a small button located underneath the USB cover which can be used
to remove the cork. Simply press it once to turn it on. Once the cork is
removed, press the button again to turn the corkscrew off.
D. Using the Aerator
The aerator is perfect for quickly and easily pouring your wine, exposing it
to more air and letting the wine breathe as you pour. This will improve the
flavour your wine.
The aerator provided is neatly stored at the back of the main unit. To use,
lift off from its stand and place the rubber end into your open bottle of
wine before pouring.
E. Using the Vacuum Sealer
The vacuum sealer is idea for preserving opened bottles of wine. To use:
1. Place the smaller end of the vacuum sealer into the top of the opened
wine bottle.
Note: The wine bottle with vacuum sealer must be stored in an upright
position. Failure to do so may result in wine leaking from the bottle.
2. Using the silver date band, twist until the arrow is lined up with the date
you opened the bottle. This provides a helpful reminder so you know how
long the bottle has been open.
3. To remove the vacuum sealer from wine bottle, simply pull it straight up.
4. When not in use, the vacuum sealer can be stored in the top of the Wine
Opener
Cleaning &Maintenance
Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet before cleaning. To
clean the housing, wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Never immerse the power
adapter, unit in water or any other liquids. Never place in a dishwasher. The
aerator and vacuum sealer can be washed by hand in warm soapy water.
Make sure all the parts are clean and dry before storing.
