IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR PIZZA OVEN
Do not use this appliance for any other purpose other than intended
When using any electrical appliance and toreducetheriskoffire, electricalshock orserious
injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
1. Before using this appliance, please check carefully to make sure voltage (AC120V-60Hz) is
compatible with your home
2. ALWAYS place appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
3. Turn Power/Timer Knob to OFF position and make sure Temperature dial is at lowest setting
before inserting plug in electrical outlet.
4. DO NOT let power cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch any hot surfaces.
5. DO NOT place or use the unit or any parts on or near a hot gas or electric burner, in a heated
oven, or on stove top.
6. DO NOT use or place appliance near or on any flammable materials such as tablecloth,
curtains, towels, paper, plastic, wood or other.
7. DO NOT place your Pizza Oven directly under kitchen cabinets when operating as heat
generated by unit could damage your cabinets. Allow sufficient airflow on top of Pizza
Oven as heat escapes from top of unit and could be a fire hazard if operated in a tight
environment. CAUTION: HOT! DO NOT touch top of Pizza Oven when in use.
8. DO NOT operate this appliance on any flammable material such as a wood surface or
on any tablecloth. Do not operate this appliance on a non-heat-resistant surface as this may
damage surface. Place unit on a heat-resistant cooking surface such as tile, Formica® or any
surface protected with a heat resistant finish at least the size of the unit or larger, to be
placed underneath the appliance. CAUTION: ALWAYS protect surface underneath the
appliance from heat generated by the unit as it could cause permanent damage to surface.
9. This appliance should not be used by or near children, or persons with certain disabilities.
10. Thisproductisequippedwithapolarizedplug(onebladeiswiderthantheother
blade) as a safety feature to reduce theriskofelectricalshock and fire. This plug will fit
intoapolarized outlet only one way. If you are unable toinserttheplugintothe electrical
outlet,tryreversingtheplug. If the plug still does notfit,contact a qualified electrician.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug canbefully inserted into the
extension cord, making sure the electrical rating of the extension cord is at least as great
as the electrical rating of this appliance (listed on the bottom panel of the unit). Do not alter
plug.Donotattempttodefeatthe safety purpose of the polarizedplug.
11. DO NOT operate this or any other appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any way. Send the unit to the nearest
Authorized Service Center for inspection, repair or adjustment. (ONLY qualified technicians
should repair the unit.)
12. To avoid risk of electrical shock, fire or injuries: DO NOT immerse Pizza Oven, electrical
cord or plug in water or other liquid.

13. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement
or tripping over a longer cord. An extension cord may be used with care; however, be sure
the marked electrical rating is at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance (listed
on the bottom panel of the unit). The extension cord should be positioned such that it does
not drape over the counter or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped
over. DO NOT use an outlet or extension cord if the plug fits loosely. DO NOT use extension
cord if electrical cord feels hot.
14. Keep electrical and extension cords away from appliance and any hot parts and surfaces of
the appliance during use.
15. The use of any accessories or attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may
cause injury.
16. DO NOT touch any of the hot surfaces of the appliance. Always use the Oven Tray Handle or
Knobs to operate.
17. DO NOT move this or any appliance containing HOT food or other.
18. Pizza Oven, Glass Window and top of the oven are HOT and should NOT be touched when
in operation, during cooking or just after use.
19. Extreme caution must be used when appliance is in use and when placing or removing
food from Pizza Oven. TOP OF THE OVEN, OVEN CASING, GLASS WINDOW AND PIZZA
STONE ARE HOT ! WARNING: This appliance generates heat that can cause burns and
serious injuries. ALWAYS USE OVEN MITTS WHEN OPENING PIZZA OVEN TO PLACE OR
REMOVE FOOD FROM HOT PIZZA OVEN.
20. DO NOT pour cold water on HOT Pizza Stone, let cool completely before handling and cleaning
21. Turn Power/Timer knob to OFF position before disconnecting the electrical plug from the
electrical outlet.
22. ALWAYS allow HOT parts to cool down COMPLETELY before handling or cleaning.
23. Unplug the unit and allow to cool completely before handling and cleaning.
24. Unplug power cord from outlet when not in use. Clean and cover the unit and store in a dry
place if not being used for an extended period of time.
25. This appliance is NOT recommended for outdoor use.
26. DO NOT clean unit or parts with any abrasive pads or cleaners.
27. DO NOT clean Pizza Stone in dishwasher. Wash in hot soapy water, rinse well and let dry
completely before storing or using. DO NOT let Pizza Stone soak in water. DO NOT USE
WET OR DAMP PIZZA STONE IN OVEN AS IT COULD CRACK OR BREAK. LET DRY
COMPLETELY BEFORE USING. DO NOT immerse Pizza Oven, electrical cord or plug in
water or other liquid.
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT LEAVE APPLIANCE UNATTENDED WHEN
IN USE, WHEN APPLIANCE IS COOKING, WHEN APPLIANCE CONTAINS HOT FOOD OR
WHEN APPLIANCE IS STILL HOT. ALWAYS SUPERVISE CHILDREN WHEN THEY ARE NEAR
APPLIANCE. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE OR BE NEAR THE APPLIANCE WHEN IN
USE. CAUTION: APPLIANCE, PIZZA OVEN, GLASS WINDOW AND PIZZA STONE BECOME HOT
DURING OPERATION.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Your Cuizen Deluxe Pizza Oven comes equipped with a natural stone. This special Pizza stone will
cook your pizza just like the professionals, giving you a perfect pizza parlour crust every time.
FIRST TIME USE
Your Pizza Oven has been manufactured with a protective coating to the heating elements.
When rst using your Pizza Oven, heat it up to maximum temperature for 15 minutes (see
power/temperature instructions below) without food or Pizza Stone. A small amount of smoke
and/or odour may occur. This is normal and will dissipate after rst use. Let Pizza Oven cool down
before restarting it again.
COOKING PIZZA
• With Power/Timer set at O position Oand Temperature Control at lowest setting, plug
cord into electric outlet.
• Insert Pizza Stone in Oven. Make sure Oven is NOT heated up and fully COOLED DOWN.
• Adjust Temperature Control to 350ºF or higher and turn Power/Timer knob to desired time
setting to turn ON unit. Power Indicator Light will come on. Note: If temperature setting
is too low, unit will not come on. If so, adjust temperature setting higher.
• Heat up oven for 15 minutes to reach desired temperature setting.
• Place garnished pizza on Pizza Peel, pull out Pizza Oven Tray and CAREFULLY insert Pizza
in oven.
CAUTION: Glass window is HOT and could cause burns or injuries. DO NOT TOUCH GLASS
WINDOW WHEN OVEN IS IN USE OR STILL HOT.

• Readjust Timer and/or Temperature to desired setting and cook Pizza to taste. When
done, make sure Power/Timer is set at O position O, Power Indicator Light is turned OFF
and Temperature Control is at lowest setting. Pull out Pizza Oven Tray and CAREFULLY
take out Pizza using Pizza Peel. CAUTION: HOT ! ALWAYS USE OVEN MITTS WHEN
OPENING PIZZA OVEN TO PLACE OR REMOVE FOOD FROM HOT PIZZA OVEN.
• Always disconnect Pizza Oven when not in use.
KEEP PIZZA OVEN OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. DO NOT LEAVE APPLIANCE
UNATTENDED WHEN IN USE, WHEN APPLIANCE IS COOKING, WHEN APPLIANCE
CONTAINS HOT FOOD OR WHEN APPLIANCE IS STILL HOT. ALWAYS SUPERVISE CHILDREN
WHEN THEY ARE NEAR APPLIANCE. DO NOT ALLOW CHILDREN TO OPERATE OR BE NEAR
THE APPLIANCE WHEN IN USE. CAUTION: APPLIANCE, PIZZA OVEN TOP, GLASS WINDOW
AND PIZZA STONE BECOME HOT DURING OPERATION.
TIPS
• Dust Pizza Stone lightly with our (wheat, corn) just before placing Pizza in Oven. Do
same with Pizza Peel. This will help prevent Pizza from sticking to Pizza Stone or Pizza
Peel.
• Baking time and temperature vary largely depending on Pizza dough and ingredients.
Usually when baking a fresh homemade Pizza dough, it will take some 15-20 minutes at
375ºF. Thawed Pizza which is half-baked will take some 10-12 minutes to cook at 375ºF,
while frozen Pizza will need more time and higher temperature (follow indications on
packaging). Reheat cooked Pizza at 350ºF for some 7-10 minutes. Always CAREFULLY
monitor Pizza when in the oven. DO NOT let burn or overcook.
• Your Pizza Oven can also be used to cook many other foods (meat, sh, seafood,
vegetables, small cakes, etc.). ALWAYS use Pizza Stone to cook food in Pizza Oven. If
cooking meat or other baked food, ALWAYS cook in a baking pan. Monitor food closely to
ensure it doesn’t overcook or burn.
CLEANING
• Let Pizza Oven cool o COMPLETELY before handling or cleaning.
• Turn Power/Timer knob in O position Omaking sure Power Indicator Light is turned
OFF and Temperature Control is at lowest setting.
• Pull out Pizza Oven Tray and extend fully. Carefully lift Pizza Stone and wash in hot soapy
water, rinse well and let dry completely before storing or using. DO NOT clean unit or
parts with any abrasive pads or cleaners. DO NOT let Pizza Stone soak in water. DO NOT
USE WET OR DAMP PIZZA STONE IN OVEN AS IT COULD CRACK OR BREAK. LET DRY
COMPLETELY BEFORE USING. DO NOT clean Pizza Stone in dishwasher. DO NOT immerse
Pizza Oven, electrical cord or plug in water or other liquid.
• DO NOT let oil or grease build up on Pizza Stone as this could be a re hazard. ALWAYS
keep Pizza Stone clean as indicated.
• With unit fully turned o and disconnected from power outlet, clean outer Pizza Oven
casing with damp cloth. Wipe dry with clean dry cloth.
• Clean Pizza Peel with a soft damp cloth and wipe dry. DO NOT let soak in water.
• Clean Pizza Cutter in hot soapy water and let dry completely. CAUTION: Pizza Cutter
blade is SHARP. DO NOT touch Pizza Cutter with your hands. DO NOT let children touch
Pizza Cutter.

RECIPES
BASIC PIZZA DOUGH
(Makes 2 Large Pizzas, or Four Thin Pizzas)
• 2 Packages yeast (or ½ oz. or 4½ tsp of yeast)
• 2 tsp sugar
• 4 cups of our or more
• 1 tsp salt
• ¼ cup olive oil
• 1½ cup of warm water
Mix yeast and sugar in a bowl. Add ½ cup of warm water and mix well. The water should be
between 100ºF - 110º F. Let stand for some 5 min. for yeast and sugar to activate. In a large
mixing bowl, add our, salt, olive oil, 1 cup of warm water and the yeast mixture. Mix this
with a fork to get all the liquid absorbed by the our. Place a handful of our on a mixing
surface. Dust your hands and spread out the our.
Empty the contents of the bowl on to the our. Knead the dough until the texture is
smooth and uniform. If the dough seems a little sticky, add a little more our. Cut the
dough in half. Dust a rolling pin with our and gently roll out on a ouredpastry board until
the dough is the desired shape. Keep using our, as needed so the dough doesn’t stick.
Dust corn meal on Pizza Peel, pick up pizza dough and garnish with your favourite tomato
sauce, ingredients, vegetables, meats and cheese. Place pizza directly on Pizza Stone (dust
also lightly with corn meal) in a pre-heated oven. Set Temperature setting and Timer and
cook until crust is golden colour.
AMERICAN PIZZA
• Pizza dough (fresh or store-bought)
• 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce
• 20 slices of pepperoni
• 3 mushrooms, sliced
• ¼ green pepper, sliced
• ½ cup Mozzarella cheese
Using 10”pizza dough (fresh or store bought), spread 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce.
Add pepperoni, green peppers and mushrooms. Top with cheese and cook in
preheated Pizza Oven at 375ºF for 15-20 min or until crust is golden brown.

VEGETARIAN PIZZA
• Pizza dough (fresh or store-bought)
• 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce
• 3 mushrooms, sliced
• ¼ green pepper, sliced
• ¼ onion, sliced
• Broccoli orets cut in small pieces
• ½ cup Mozzarella cheese
Using 10”pizza dough (fresh or store bought), spread 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce.
Add mushrooms, green peppers, onions and broccoli.
Top with cheese and cook in preheated Pizza Oven at 375ºF for 15-20 min or until crust is
golden brown.
NAPOLETAN PIZZA
• Pizza dough (fresh or store-bought)
• 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce
• 4 anchovy lets
• Soft mozzarella cheese (Bocconcini) , cut up in four ¼ inch slices
• Basil leaves
• Olive oil
Using 10”pizza dough (fresh or store bought), spread 2 to 4 tbsp tomato sauce.
Add mozzarella slices, place anchovy llets on top on cheese.
Garnish with basil leaves and drizzle some olive oil.
Cook in preheated Pizza Oven at 375ºF for 15-20 min or until crust is golden brown.

VEAL & PORTOBELLO CALZONE
• 4 oz lean ground veal
• 1 tsp olive oil
• 1 tbsp red onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 medium Portobello mushroom, sliced
• ½ small fennel, sliced
• ½ small red pepper, sliced
• 3 tbsp tomato sauce
• 1 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
• ½ lb pizza dough
• ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1 tbsp all purpose our
• 1½ tsp corn meal
• Salt & Pepper to taste
Preheat Pizza Oven for 10 minutes at 375ºF. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add
onion and garlic and cook for 2 minutes.
Add ground veal, breaking up with spoon. Cook until no longer pink. Add Portobello
mushroom, fennel, red pepper, basil and cook for 5 minutes, until liquid has evaporated.
Add salt & pepper. Drain o any extra fat.
Add tomato sauce and cook for 2 minutes. On oured surface, roll out dough into two 8
inch circles. Divide lling over half of each circle.
Fill each dough with half of mozzarella cheese. Fold dough over, pinch to seal. Carefully
sprinkle corn meal on Pizza Stone.
Place Calzone in Pizza Oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden colour.

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages from

any appliance that has been repaired or altered by other than an Authorized
Dealer or Service Center.
