chlorine that may be present in your water.
• The patented filter media used in your Culligan®filtered showerhead
reduces the build-up of scale.*
• Your filtered showerhead helps to prevent dry, itchy skin and scalp by
reducing the impurities found in some water. It also helps prevent
chlorine damage to hair texture and helps color-treated hair retain the
color longer.**

INSTALLATION
• Installs on standard 1/2˝ threaded shower arm.
• This shower head will not function without a filter cartridge in place.
Remove existing showerhead
from shower arm by turning
counterclockwise.
Hold the body of the showerhead
firmly in one hand. With the
other hand, turn the
ribbed ring behind the face
counterclockwise to unscrew.
Clean any debris that may be
present on the threads.
Wrap plumbers tape tightly around
shower arm threads.

Hold the body of the showerhead

nut to protect the finish and then

• This model uses the WHR-140 filter cartridge.

OPERATION/MAINTENANCE
• Install in compliance with state and local laws and regulations.
• Filter cartridge should be replaced when rated capacity is reached
or when there is a reduction of flow.
• Prior to first use and after changing cartridge, flush system for
10 minutes.
• Replacement filters may be purchased at store where unit
was purchased.
TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOM: The water flow from my filtered showerhead has been fine
but has changed and less water is flowing from the showerhead.
REMEDY: Remove filter cartridge and reverse it by flipping the cartridge
front to back, then reinstall.
NOTE: All certifications are invalid if flow restrictor is removed.
ONEYEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Culligan warrants your Culligan Showerhead for one year from the date
of purchase (WHR-140 filter cartridge is not covered under warranty)
against all defects in materials and workmanship, when used in
compliance with the Installation and Operation Instructions. Culligan
disclaims all implied warranties, including without limitation, warranties
of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. If for any reason
the product proves to be defective within one year from the date of
purchase, return it to the retailer from whom it was purchased. Be sure
that you complete the online warranty registration within 30 days of
purchase and keep your original receipt, order form, or bill of sale to
serve as a proof of purchase before returning. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may have other legal rights which vary
from state to state. Culligan assumes no responsibility for incidental

or consequential damages; for damages arising out of misuse of the
product or the use of any unauthorized attachment. This warranty does
not cover any labor, transportation, or shipping expenses incurred. The
hiring of any individual or service to install or maintain this product is
done at the discretion and expense of the purchaser. Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of implied warranties or incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not
apply to you.

This system has been tested according to NSF/ANSI 177 for reduction of free available chlorine. The
concentration of free available chlorine in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration
less than or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system, as specified in NSF/ANSI 177.
The system has not been evaluated for free available chlorine reduction performance in the presence
of chloramines. Free available chlorine reduction performance may be impacted by the presence of
chloramines in the water supply. Please contact your local water utility to determine if chloramines
are used in treating your water.
Testing conducted under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
System tested and certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI 177 for the reduction
of free available chlorine.
Third party certified to meet ASME A112.18.1/CSA B125.1 and all applicable
requirements referenced therein.
Third party certified to EPA WaterSense®.

INSTALACIÓN
• Se instala en un brazo de ducha con roscas de ½ pulgada
(1,27 cm) estándar.
• El sistema no funcionará a menos que se le instale un cartucho del
filtro.
Gire el cabezal de ducha existente
en sentido contrario a las agujas
del reloj para quitarla del brazo
de ducha.
Con una mano, agarre el cuerpo
del sistema. Con la otra, gire en
el sentido contrario a las agujas
del reloj el aro acanalado que se
encuentra detrás de la placa frontal
hasta desatornillarlo.
Limpie toda la suciedad presente
en las roscas. Cubra las roscas del
brazo de ducha con cinta de Teflón.

• Este modelo usa cartuchos de filtro WHR-140.

FUNCIONAMIENTO/MANTENIMIENTO
• La instalación de este sistema debe realizarse de conformidad con todas
las leyes y reglamentaciones estatales y locales.
• El cartucho del filtro debe reemplazarse una vez que alcance su máxima
capacidad de servicio o en caso de que se produzca una reducción del
flujo.
• Antes del primer uso y después de reemplazar el cartucho, deje correr
el agua durante 10 minutos.
• Los filtros de repuesto pueden comprarse en la tienda donde se compró
la unidad.
RESOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
PROBLEMA: El flujo de agua era normal, pero ahora ha cambiado y es
menor.
SOLUCIÓN: Quite el cartucho del filtro e inviértalo; coloque la parte
frontal hacia atrás y vuelva a instalarlo.
NOTA: Las certificaciones no tienen validez si se retira la válvula de
restricción del suministro.
GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE UN AÑO
Culligan garantiza el producto “ducha filtrada Culligan” durante un
año a partir de la fecha de compra (la garantía no cubre el cartucho
del filtro WHR-140) por cualquier falla en los materiales y la mano de
obra, siempre que se utilice de conformidad con las instrucciones de
instalación y uso. Culligan rechaza cualquier otra garantía implícita,
incluidas, de manera no taxativa, garantías derivadas del uso o la
práctica comercial para un fin en particular. Si, por alguna razón,
el producto presenta fallas dentro de un año a partir de la fecha de
compra, devuélvaselo al distribuidor al que se lo compró. Asegúrese de

del producto es responsabilidad del comprador y queda a su exclusivo
criterio. Algunos estados no permiten la exclusión o limitación de

Este sistema se ha sometido a pruebas de conformidad con la norma NSF/ANSI 177 para la
reducción del cloro libre disponible. La concentración de cloro libre disponible en el agua que ingresa
al sistema se redujo a un nivel inferior o igual que el nivel límite permitido para el agua que sale del
sistema, según las especificaciones de la norma NSF/ANSI 177. No se ha evaluado el desempeño
del sistema en cuanto a la reducción del cloro libre disponible en presencia de cloraminas. El
desempeño respecto de la reducción del cloro libre disponible podría verse afectado por la presencia
de cloraminas en el suministro de agua. Comuníquese con su proveedor de agua local a fin de
determinar si se utilizan cloraminas en el tratamiento del agua.

INSTALLATION
• S’installe sur un bras de douche fileté standard 1/2˝.
• Cette pomme de douche ne fonctionne pas si le filtre n’est
pas en place.
Retirez la pomme de douche
existante du bras de douche
en le faisant pivoter dans le
sens contraire des aiguilles d’une
montre.
Maintenez fermement le corps
de l’assemblage pivotant d’une
main. Avec l’autre main, tournez
la bague crantée à l’arrière de la
surface dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre jusqu’à ce
qu’il soit complètement desserré.
Nettoyez les débris qui pourraient
se trouver sur les filetages.
Appliquez la bande adhésive pour
plombier autour des filetages du
bras de douche.
RETIREZ L’AUTOCOLLANT
DES DEUX CÔTÉS DE LA
NOUVELLE CARTOUCHE AVANT
INSTALLATION.
Placez la nouvelle cartouche de
filtre en position en poussant la
cartouche dans la cavité, jusqu’à
